I have taken my brand new Tesla there twice already this year and both times have been phenomenal. Great friendly staff who have always given me realtime updates to make sure I was well informed of the status of my vehicle. I love that I can communicate via text message with my advisor and that all documents were electronic. This made it easy to get in and out of the shop very quickly. Really no complaints here. Hopefully I won’t need them again, but if I do, I would definitely trust them to take care of my car again.

C & G Auto body is the BEST of the BEST. From the moment you drop off your vehicle and when you pick your vehicle up. They send you a text every Tuesday and Thursday to inform you on the progress of your vehicle. If I could give this company 10+ stars I would. Thank you again making me a happy customer.

If you have ever had a car accident...than you likely know that sinking feeling! Oh No! Is anybody hurt? Is my car driveable? Will my insurance cover this? Then...you have to go through a 2nd torture...finding a good body shop. Lordy..is there no end to this torture?
Well, I can't undo your accident...or the call to the insurance company...but I can tell you my experience with G & C Auto Body on Texas St, in Fairfield was PAINLESS! Darn near pleasant. These folks know what they are doing! They have a well-oiled machine...AND ... they are professional, yet kind. Skilled staff complete the work...which the company stands behind, as long as you own your car...although you rarely need a "re-do". The front end staff and estimators keep you informed during the process.
So...if you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an auto accident...cut your suffering short by taking your car to G& C!

I recently brought my vehicle in for a claim service, and I must express my disappointment with the overall experience. Unfortunately, the service I received was far from satisfactory.
After the initial repair, I discovered that my rear door panel and trunk panel had not been properly addressed. Despite the service report stating that parts were replaced, it was evident that nothing had been repaired or replaced at all. This feels like blatant price gouging directed at the insurance company.
What’s more frustrating is that I had to return my vehicle not once, but twice for the same issues. Currently, my vehicle is back in their shop, and I received a perplexing text message claiming they checked out a problem with my vehicle and found nothing wrong. This is particularly concerning, as I experienced a noticeable shaking in the back of the car after the accident—an issue that was not present before, following a recent alignment just a week before the incident.
The audacity of being told my vehicle passed the alignment test is hard to believe, especially when the shaking persists. I am eager to see the documentation for this supposed test.
Overall, this experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend this service center based on my experience. If you value quality service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But unfortunately, there must be some kind of monopoly, because i've definitely avoided this place. But for some reason it's the only place I could bring my vehicle

If I could give this shop zero stars I would. HORRIBLE customer service. The general manager is so rude and unprofessional. This shop did a half as job done on my truck. They stated the truck was done and ready for pick up when the job was not completed. I was NEVER notified the truck needed more work and had to be taken back. (The truck should have NEVER left the shop if the job was not completed.) To make matters worse the only reason I found out was because I had to take the truck back due to all the swirls and scratches the truck got left with after this shop washed it. One of the employees looked at the truck and let us know the truck needed more work on the side it got painted as well as all the swirls and scratches had to do come from a towel or wiping it while dirty. (When we drop off the truck our truck was pretty dusty/dirty) I then proceeded to let the GM know why we were never notified about the job not being fully done and he admitted to the fact the truck indeed was NOT finished and had no real and reasonable justification for their negligence. He kept putting up excuses and disregarded the swirls and scratches complaint even after showing proof of how the truck looked prior to. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GOING TO THIS SHOP DON’T. Save yourself the trouble.
UPDATE: 6/20/24 … I spoke to the regional manager. He was extremely respectful, non dismissive and listened w’o an if’s or but’s. He understood there were 2 sides but made it clear he understood I wouldn’t be making it as big of a deal if what I was saying wasn’t true. At the end of the day he did only what he could at that point and we were able to work something out. I am really glad I was able to speak to him as I felt heard and valued

Rear spoiler was damaged during removal and installation. I’m 100% sure it was not damaged before my repair and if it was, it should have been covered in the estimate. Also, went to pick up my car and the detailer got too close with a pressure washer and ripped paint off the front bumper. Had to set up a new appointment to get it re-painted. Initially I was told the whole bumper would be painted. When I arrived for pick up, they only fixed the spot they damaged. Not a big deal but just some communication issues.

The work done to my car at G&C was amateur at best. First of all my paint looked like someone tossed sand at it, then painted it. The outside door trim did not line up my seat belt did not work and my door panel was loose. When I brought the paint up to the GM he simply just made excuses about these things happening in the paint booth never excepting responsibility. I expressed to him issues like this should be corrected before customers pick up their car.

I strongly advise you to take your car to Maaco auto body on Horizon drive instead of bringing it to G&C. I assumed because I have had good experiences with G&C in Marin, that it would be the same here in Fairfield. It was not. The only time I didn't have to wait over a half an hour to talk to the appropriate person (usually the assistant manager), was when I initially brought it in for an estimate. I waited a month for the part they needed (not G&C's fault) and they only texted me an update once in that entire time. The few times I called G&C for an update I didn't receive a call back. Imagine my surprise when I took my car elsewhere (due to the lack of communication and customer service), and the 2nd auto body shop told me that they could actually get my car back on the road in about a week and when the back ordered part came in they'd just swap it out.
