Every time I go to this post office people so bad first time it was bad experience. The 2nd time witch is today I arrived to the place and it was 7 people ahead of me 1 person helping customers after I waited for my turn and 3 people ahead of me the person behind the counter pulled l(line closed sign ) and left with out any explanation, we waited and waited till we ask a lady what’s going on sorry the guy on break ?

Worst post in Escondido! Every time it’s a disaster! Only went today because I didn’t have another option close by (going on my break). I’m told they don’t accept international packages after 4:30PM (never had a problem with my reliable post in Valley Center). This is after I left and went to bank because they were only accepting cash. Would have made their imaginary cut off otherwise! Never again! Steer clear if you want reliable help!!

The man who assisted me today, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 12:05 pm, was very rude, telling him that on the postal service website it told me that to change my international address, I had to appear at any office so that the person in charge will verify my identity and be able to make the change. He is an employee. I don't pay attention to my words and he tells me, "you have to call everyone you want to notify that your address is abroad" and without further ado he ignores me and calls the next person, I tell him to see my phone number where it said what to do. and he simply fired me. Horrible experience and it's too bad that the employees are trained correctly.

I went to this post office on March 11, 2024 to buy 40 stamps to mail invitations for a solemn occasion. There was a poor selection: stamps with flags, stamps with piñatas and stamps with the character Buzz Lightyear. I was very disappointed with the selection, but I had a deadline for the mailing.

Incredibly lazy staff. I don’t ship things often and I use the Post Office to ship things even less. But today I thought I’d go there since it’s closer to home. I waited in line and specifically looked for instructions or anything that I needed to fill out. There was nothing. I got to the agent and they told me I had to write the To / From details on the box. So I did and got back in line. I got the front and the same agent told me that I didn’t put the information in the correct place in the box. He could have easily told me that when I was at the counter originally. But there is no accountability and no motivation to provide even basic customer service. And this review won’t give them any accountability either.

Randy saw me looking at package sizes, obviously confused, and called me over to help walk me through the self service kiosk. I didn't realize how easy sending packages was, but after his help I feel like I could come back and do it myself easily next time. This location was very peaceful with a short line and friendly staff. Thanks Randy!

While the employees seem fine, they play Christian, religious music very loudly inside the business. I had to wait in line for almost 15 minutes listening to “praise the lord” music. Is this even legal as a government agency?

Dropped off several flat rate boxes to ship across country. They were pretty heavy, 40ish lbs. I went back out to the car to bring in the next batch and saw/heard one of the post office employees whining/grunting/groaning picking the boxes up and full on THROWING them into a metal crate. All 3 just smashing on top of each other. I’m praying they make it to their final destination safely. If they’re damaged in transit, it most certainly began here. I can only hope whoever handles these packages on the remainder of their journey is more careful…
