They need to hire bilingual people. We live in Escondido in the United States. I ask them a question and they refuse to speak English even tho they live in America. They understand everything I say in English and respond in Spanish. Just because you work at El super doesn’t defeat the fact you work in an American country. Please hire employees who will speak to English customers in English and customers who speak Spanish in Spanish.There’s north gate and vallarta in Escondido. Don’t act like you’re the only Hispanic store in Escondido. I will go to them before I go to El super. It all comes down to customer service and staff availability.

I rarely go, but when I do I'm Always satisfied! I LOOOVE their bakery! Their conchas and other pan is so bomb, it brings back memories I'd forgotten about

Cashier of the name Sofia or something like that was very rude and unprofessional. She didn't greet me at all after she was done talking to her coworker. I was even nice enough to say hello to her and she still didn't even say anything. The first thing she asked me was do I want any bags. Even after she gave me my receipt, she still didn't even say anything after. Not even a have a nice day, nothing! As I'm bagging my own groceries, she greets the next costumer and tells her to have a good day, but I get nothing but bad CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very nice, clean store. The variety was not what I needed today but if you are looking for peppers, tomatillos, meat, baked goods, tortillas or tamales - this is the place for you!

Stopped here for only my second time as I was after some rice, beans and queso fresco....took about fifteen minutes to get someone to help me....then I headed back and thought...my as well pick up some carne asada to make at home....we'll that's where I could not get any help.....which is the common theme with reviews of the place. Looks like a great store with tons of selections...especially the wonderful looking meat section / butcher shop area.....unfortunately nobody ever helped me despite my attempts. It's bananas because there is so much meat that will go to waste because they just refuse to help anyone. I saw three sets of people get frustrated and just leave while I was waiting. I will likely NEVER return. Bad service is the end for me. Cool store with trash customer service. So sad. Believe the reviews...the one to three star reviews are spot on.

The tortillas from here are very good and even you can eat there really good food they have tables so you can eat.

Usually just come here to get tortillas. Sometimes with just 2 items going through the 15 items and less register can take a while. Cashiers take a sweet time scanning and let people with a full cart pass through their register

Long lines few cash registers open. Unusual for a booming business. Guess more profit for the owner but bad for employees becaus they are face of the company. I think thats why the cash register employee are in a bad mood most of the time. On top of dealing with customers thay have to deal with ones that have been waiting for a long time. Wish you could walk in and out in a fair amount of time especially if you are going to purchase a few items. Por lo menos pongan mas cajeras cuando llege mas gente!!10/21/2023

If you want cheap and low prices, this is the place to shop.I literally leave two minutes away from the store. This makes it very convenient for me at times to shop here.Must off the employees do their best to work with the little motivation they have or are given. They just added self check out for faster service ( Needless to say, that, they are always short staff and half long lines)I decided to give it a try, 2 register open, and about 8 people waiting on each check stan not much yo chose from.Well, when I was scanning my items, one of the barcodes was not scanning when I asked for help. The young lady who was working there told me that if I wanted the product, I needed to go back to the meat department and ask for a new label ?. ? Talking about customer service.I am sure I'm not the first one to have this or a similar experience at this location. Nothing against the young lady that was working selfcheckout. Management knows they need to have more people, and they're not doing anything about itI am very disappointed with the company. Spend a few $$$ and you will make more $$$

Great place to shop. Always clean and helpful staff. The only thing is they need more cashiers and staff in the meat/seafood department.
