“We have had nothing but great experiences shopping at Nugget. We purchased our Standing Rib Roast once again from the Meat dept. and as usual, it turned out perfect. Matt the Meat Dept. Manager has it well organized for ordering and pick up. We were also looking for Sambal. Mark one of the clerks filling the shelves asked if we needed some help. We told him what we were looking for, so he checked in the back room, located it and brought it out to us. The clerks and the PIC Catherine were very friendly while at check out. It's really nice to feel the friendly customer service and people that take pride in helping their customers and making it such a pleasant place to shop. Thank You all.”

“The Grocery Outlet on Bond Road is the one close to my home. It is not the biggest one, but it is the most convenient Grocery Outlet for me.I can't entirely depend on Grocery Outlet for my grocery shopping. It is only a bargain hunting store for groceries. The items here are unstable. What you found today will gone by tomorrow or later on the same day! But the store always gives me some surprises whenever I'm there.”

I do like the Raley's/Bel Air chain as they are always medium-sized stores that carry a wide variety of name brand groceries but also have a nice "local" "barrel" section of foods and deli section of fresh baked goods, Shooting for a Nugget vibe but keeping the prices closer to Safeway, and with weekly sales many things you might find cheaper than Safeway.”

“If you want low prices, this is the place.It is not a quick In-N-Out location.It can take 15 minutes just to check out.You bag your own groceries ( not a big deal )Cash or ATM debit card and EBT only!Be alert when getting out of or going to your vehicle any time of the day.Winco has the best over the counter fried chicken ever.HOWEVER, TAKE NOTE!even though they have a posted sign that "plainly" states oders over 24 pieces of chicken require pre-order.If you get even remotely close to that amount, be prepared for the counter staff to have a complete mental meltdown..I came in early, and I was the first person in line for 10 minutes. I asked for 20 wings on the Friday before Super Bowl. Now, there are only two people behind me.I was told by two employees that I was being disrespectful of everyone else behind me and that I should have ordered the wings a minimum of 2 days in advance, with no promises of getting it.In their defense, I did receive my order.But their "attempt" to belittle and verbally scold me was a little over the top.I didn't even have plans to get the chicken till the night before.I've been shopping here for four years and for 99.9% of the time the staff has always been polite and helpful.I will continue to shop here !I do miss the sweet lady who maintained the floors. I think they replaced her with a robot. I hope I'm wrong.”

“I used to live in Del Palo Heights, where I had no shame walking into any given liquor store and buying the most degenerate of alcoholic beverages(i.e. 4lokos, steel reserve), at any day of the week. For some reason, I feel shame and guilt buying cheap alcohol in Elk Grove. However, this Laguna Mart maintains a South Sac vibe, which puts my deplorable mind at ease. Plus, the OG who works there on Sunday nights, doesn't charge for the bag!”

You walk in and out without getting shot, the Food and Liquor are not expired and safe for consumption and they carry other stuff common of a liquor store. Don't keep your expectations any higher than that. You're not going to get white glove service at the liquor mart”
“I remember Smart & Final was usually focused on business customers many years ago. But they're mixed with regular household and business customers purchasing at their store now.The Smart & Final Extra! in Elk Grove is pretty big in size. It is about the same size as most larger supermarkets such as Safeway, Raley’s, etc.I don't see a lot of wholesale size packing meats or other items in the store anymore. Most of the meats, vegetables, snacks, dairy products and drinks are packaged for retail size.The store looks very new and clean. The checkout counters are fast, and the cashiers are polite. Shopping is enjoyable here.The parking lot is very big with enough parking available even during peak hours. The area is very safe.”

“The Walmarts grocery is in a separate building. It is called the Walmart Neighborhood market. We shopped for dinner, and we were quick here, purchasing our items with self check out ar 5:40 pm. The majority of shoppers have been to Walmart due to their competitive prices. But this Walmart has a lot of vehicular traffic due to their parking and location near other businesses. Hence be alert while driving here. Also, I noticed that Walmart needs more cleanliness. The floor needs detailed cleaning, especially under the food displays, as grime is seen. Also, a good buffing as wheel cart skid marks are seen. Lastly, it needs better cleaning during business time as trash, and debris are in the walk area.”

“I am reviewing the Neighborhood Market side. They don't have it listed separately yet they are separate stores. I went here with my wife when we stopped to charge our car. It is pretty big in here and I have never really shopped at a Walmart for groceries. I couldn't believe how low some of the prices are on items that we always buy. We normally shop at Costco, Belair , and Nugget. I guess you consider those high end in the supermarket side. The staff is really nice here and answered our questions when asked. There are so many different thing out now that were not when I was younger. We will be coming back here again. I am still not sure of buying meat here.”

“I was at the vision departmentin Walmart on bruceville in elk grove. I love Dennis's customer service. He is very knowledgeable about his job. He explained the different products they offer. Showed me how to properly clean eye glasses and saved me money. He also, informed me I had astigmatism. Something, my Dr never informed me of. Overall, he is a ten plus on customer service and his attitude shows it.”

“What a great store! Don't be taken back by the crazy parking lot, this store is GREAT! There are always a ton of customers in there but I had a great chat with the wine expert and purchased some of their reserve wines at her suggestion. The checkout line was short and quick and the clerk was super nice too. Always stop here when I'm in town.”
