This is the 2nd time I visit this branch, and the first time was about a year ago. I can confirm the customer service here is way worse than Chase or Wells Fargo in Elk Grove. I don’t know if its just this branch or all citi locations are like this but the people at this branch completely ignore customers. They didn’t mind to smile, say hi, or acknowledge the customers. They are just gossiping among themselves.

I recently visited the Citi Bank branch in Elk Grove, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of excellent. One of the standout aspects of this branch is its incredible convenience. Located right in the heart of Elk Grove, it's easily accessible whether I'm running errands or heading to work.
The efficiency at this branch is commendable. I've been to several banks where the wait times can be frustrating, but here, I was pleasantly surprised. The queue moved swiftly, and the staff ensured that every customer was attended to promptly. This efficiency is a significant time-saver, especially for someone with a busy schedule like mine.
What truly sets this branch apart, however, is the exceptional management. The manager on duty was not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely caring. Shehwent out of her way to ensure that my banking needs were met and that I left the branch satisfied. It's this kind of personalized service that makes me choose Citi Bank over others.
In conclusion, the Elk Grove Citi Bank branch excels in providing a convenient banking experience, shorter wait times, and outstanding management. I have been going to this location for the last year and have LOVED the customer service that the entire team provides. They are always pleasant, kind, attentive, knowledgeable and most importantly so helpful! Last Friday I went in to handle some banking stuff and my experience with the staff was beyond impressive! I spoke to Chante whom helped me! I enjoyed her service and conversation so much! She is very relatable and handles business like a professional but also makes you feel like you are sitting on the sofa of her home! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED my visit and she made sure it wasn't a chore!! Thank you to the ENTIRE staff !!

I've consistently had outstanding experiences at the Elk Grove branch of Citi Bank, setting a standard that other nearby branches just can't match. On a visit to the Greenhaven branch, for instance, I was met with a two-hour wait and scant attention. In stark contrast, the Elk Grove branch always offers a warm welcome, often by Javon, whose kindness, hospitality, and assistance never fail to impress.On my latest visit, although Javon I did not see present, a woman who appeared to be the manager promptly stepped in to assist me. I believe I have worked with her before but I am not too sure. She tackled my concerns swiftly and displayed a deep understanding of the services, answering all my questions with expertise.I feel fortunate to have such a reliable branch in close proximity to my home. Other Citi branches have left me with the frustration of long waits and subpar service with discrimination mixed in, making it clear that the Elk Grove team’s proficiency and established presence are unparalleled. It's worth any wait to receive the level of service they consistently provide.

I walked in to make a payment on a card issued by the bank. However, they informed me they do not accept cash payments. Imagine that.. a bank that doesn’t accept cash. I would ZERO stars if that was an option. Citibank is not a serious bank.

This location does not answer their phone EVER. When I came into the office to schedule an appointment they did not even ask me what time I’d be available and just tried to get me out. I asked them if I could get a time and date and they just said Oh yea. Worst location.

The new leadership is a huge improvement over the old. I've come to look forward to my visits to this particular branch. Even though I detested this location before the management change, I'm pleased to see that it's undergoing a makeover that will improve the customer service they provide. The bank's gloomy cloud seems to have dissipated; let's hope it remains that way.

Excellent experience. Opened a new account here today and Chante Clark helped me, She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Help me open the account and explain about the terms and conditions, Deposit a check for me and even called customer service behalf of me to replace my lost card. I definitely recommend Chante Clark for all you banking needs.

They don't pick up the phone, drove in for help on wite transfer. They can only do it Monday thru Friday. Cannot setup for future transfer. Pick uo the damn phone so that I don't waste time driving here.

Made an appointment and drove 45 minutes only for the branch to be closed. I guess a courtesy call is too much to ask for. Horrible.
