Big 5 Sporting Goods has friendly employees working here. The lady working at the cashier counter gave me a greeting as soon as I walked into the store and offered help if I had any items I was looking for. Good customer service.The store has too much merchandise. They have used all the places they can find. Shopping in there I feel a sense of oppression. But overall, this Big 5 store is an excellent store so close to my house.

Muk Luks Women's Slippers originally $24.99 got for $12 each. Bought a set of four. Natalie was great and got a chance to see the Florin road Manager Anamarie. Welcoming her to the Elk Grove location.

This review is for the over stocking of the store. Not the customer service. The people were nice. There is no room to move around in this store. It is packed to the brim. Looks like they could be in violation of safety code. If a customer is in a wheelchair, I don’t think they could access the store.

I just came from this store and made the trek there after not finding the sleeping bag I needed at the store near me. I called this store and thankfully I spoke to a sales associate named Anamarie who was kind enough to check on the item I was looking for. I had already seen the item from the special deals they had online so I really wanted to get it for my upcoming camping trip. She helped me when I got into the store and also got the item from the to shelf. Thankfully, I had time to drive the 27 miles to the store!!! There was another sales associate at the register who also was nice and friendly. Sometimes you go into these stores and customer service is just lacking, like they don't want to be there or just hate their job. It does not appear to be the case here in the Elk Grove Big 5. I'm really glad I came into this store and got the help I needed. Thanks everybody who helped me today, it made my shopping experience (and my long drive) worth it! Keep the great customer service!

We went to Big 5 last Friday as my son needed a new pair of shoes and a swimming trunks. My son is very picky, but he found the shoes and trunks that he likes. During our check out, I was searching for coupons and discounts, we assisted by Lorina and she was patient and urged me to review the Big 5 website for coupons and other promotions on my phone. I was very amazed by her knowledge and patience. Plus the store was very organized and well stocked. Thank you Big 5 in Elk Grove and Lorina.
