My agent retired so I went to the Elk Grove Branch on Laguna BL to get a new agent. I was advised that I no longer need an agent, but if I felt the need to have one, I would need to call Will Stallworth as he was the person that could assign an agent. Since I was there anyway, I asked if I could speak with a travel agent. There is only one there and she was not in. I was asked where I was planning to go. I answered New England. The representative stated that their travel agent only books international travel, so I could not use her. Me: Ok. May I get some maps and tour books for New England? Rep: We don't have maps or tour books anymore. I have always been satisfied with CSAA in the past. Sure seems like a lot of service is being discontinued here. I wonder if it is a poorly led branch, or if all AAA service is declining.

Ive been a AAA client for over 10 years and love their dmv and road side service. I own a business with a fleet of trucks so when a truck goes down they come in handy. the price is worth the tow with rising cost of everything. and time is money so if they save me a trip to the dmv I'm all for it! they could use more tellers as the dmv service line does get quite long

The Laguna Branch of AAA is great. They are always busy but they get things done in a way that keeps things flowing.

This is a lengthy one: My experience with AAA insurance company has left me unsettled. They are by far one of the WORST insurance companies available in California. When my car was hit by an UNLICENSED teenage driver, I sent video footage as proof that I DID NOT CAUSE the damage that was done to my car. After TWO Days (not even a week), they determined that my car was a "Total Loss". My car was still drivable - NOT a total loss. All I wanted was for my car to get fixed. I did not care about the money - I didn't want money! I wanted my car fixed, which is why we were paying hundreds of dollars for FULL COVERAGE in the first place. I spoke with FOUR different AAA 'Specialist' and every single one of them told me something different. NONE of them had communicated with each other. They gave me the run around the first week. By the 2nd week, Susan Golden (auto field specialist) sent me e-mails with TWO different options. When I responded with my choice, Susan Golden (very rudely) told me, "that option isn't available to you, I shouldn't have sent you that option". I was appalled! It made absolutely NO SENSE for them to send me those options, if it wasn't available to me. I lost ALL CONFIDENCE in AAA as my insurance company. They were UNHELPFUL and have the WORST Customer Service ever! Susan Golden, Paul Norat, Tracy Miller AND Shenea Wilkins are terrible representatives for this company! They did nothing but, try to take my car from me. So, beware of how awful this insurance is! They more than likely WON'T do anything to help you, even if you have VIDEO PROOF AND, have a Police Report! I will NEVER RECOMMEND this insurance to anyone! I give them a '-10/10'.

AAA Driver Carlos who did the long haul on my vehicle last Monday 8/7/23 deserves a lot of credit for driving 2 hours in 100 degree weather to drop my car off to the auto shop from Galt to Newark. I can't thank him enough. He is amazing at making sure he communicated with me multiple times and mid-way about his location. His customer service skills are excellent!! Carlos if you're reading this: Thank you for making it easy on me when I was in a real bind! I hope they keep you forever!!! You deserve 100 stars!!

Lady at counter for auto registration renewal is shrewd. I'm sure she knows who she is. Plus having AAA PLUS A JOKE , combined with auto insurance. Funny how they will tie a car that's not registered to me as long as I'm present but won't allow me to pay registration fees on a vehicle that is both insured under my policy and registered to immediate family member who is on insurance policy . Absurd . This policy might be only at this office cause AAA OFFICE IN FOLSOM DIFFERENT VIBE AND MUCH BETTER SERVICE.

We've been members for years. It's worth the price alone to avoid DMV to the extent possible. Mostly friendly staff. There's a few exceptions. The road side service is exceptional as well.

I waited 5.5 hrs for their roadside service only to be told my service call was canceled because my RV was stuck in a muddy field. The worst company ever. They never called to update me on where the tow truck driver was, never informed me they canceled my service call, never informed me that a field does not qualify for service calls.

Each time I go the customer service is top notch! Honestly, from the moment you walk in to the walking up to the service desk is great. Was there a few days ago to renew my registration and felt SO RELIEVED I did not have to go to the DMV to do it. I was in and out in 10mins! Also, I had a flat tire maybe a few weeks ago, the service agent was awesome and was able to get someone out to me faster than my quoted time. Seriously the AAA membership is worth it!!!

I'm not a AAA member. However my husband and I had seen we could get an international driving permit from AAA. I called ahead to ask if non-members were eligible for this. The lady on the phone was helpful and said yes. I asked her what documentation we needed to bring and she said a valid DL and 2 passport pictures. At first I was thinking, is this truly necessary? b/c I had 1 picture leftover from other stuff I'd done. But they need 2 identical pictures. I later found out why: One is attached to the application, and the other picture goes inside the permit booklet. I asked if we'd be able to walk-out with the permit today, and she said yes. This was also on a Saturday which took us here because the other AAA branches we searched for were only M-F. Bonnie was helpful and friendly. We were helped right away - filled out an application and she got to work. She did let us know that this permit was not recognized in Brazil and Uruguay - they use another type of permit. She also said that she has folks coming in all the way from the Bay Area just to get this permit done. Bonnie took us to the front to pay. I noticed other folks doing their DMV stuff - which seemed very convenient to do all of that here. I highly recommend coming here for your permit!
