They also offer body mapping and consultation, which has helped me orient my workout and weight loss goals. “Joe and his team at Pinole X-Fit run a REALLY AWESOME operation. We've worked with them both for gym AND ninja kids parties. BOTH are run with kindness and efficiency, heart and soul. As a customer of the gym "in the old days" I'm confident in saying our local Pinole bootcamp training spot is Better Than Ever! It's an excellent local family business borh as a gym and for special events. The owner is patient, responsible and responsive and gives each step of your membership personal attention and dedication w no pressure or hype.Joe was prompt and hos attention to timelines and commitments are a REAL stand out. “I joined Orangetheory Berkeley in Oct 2022 and have been a regular since. As I’m older, I wasn’t sure initially if this would be a good fit. I discovered all ages are welcome! I like the inclusive, friendly, helpful vibe from the manager Van, to the front desk staff, to the coaches. The coaches also invite us to let them know anytime if we need adjustments to any part of the workout. We are invited to both challenge and pace ourselves. While all the coaches I’ve experienced are good, my current favorite classes are coached by Jazon and Noah.”

“After all of these years, I finally found a gym home. I work with Jenny who is an excellent trainer who customizes your workouts to achieve your goals. She is also very good at adjusting routines to stave off workout boredom and to factor in how my body feels on any given day. Shirley the owner and all of the staff are welcoming and encouraging. It’s a small operation but has all that you need if you are serious about your fitness goals. I was referred by a friend, and I have since referred another friend who works with Sachiko who is also terrific. I am a tough grader but I highly recommend RGym.”

“I LOOOOVE orangetheory Emeryville! Prior to OTF, I have never been able to establish any type of consistent exercise routine. I now go here 4+ times a week and I enjoy every minute.

The coaches are always very encouraging- they will get to know you personally, correct your form, and celebrate your progress. The front desk staff are also very friendly- they make me feel welcomed, keep me updated on events and challenges, and help me when I have questions about my membership & devices.

The workouts are fun & effective and the template is different every day, so you always feel challenged. I have been able to run faster, train for longer distances, recover faster, and lift heavier. OTF also improves my mental health and I feel happy coming here every day.”

“My experience at this fitness center was nothing short of incredible. When I had to cancel/ freeze my account due to job relocation, CT, the Manager, went above and beyond to assist me. His friendly and understanding nature made the process a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you, CT, for your exceptional service and kindness!Also, this is probably the best fitness location I’ve visited. “I was a member at Grassroots CrossFit for a year and loved everything about it. “WOW!!! We were in for a sweaty treat. Charise, the owner and trainer was super nice and welcoming. It was my partner and I's very first time at 9Round and it did not disappoint. She was very patient and took the time to go over all the stations with us while still balancing time to work with the other more experienced clients. Mike leads us through movement patterns individually and then combine them into mini-flows, so that by the end of class we put everything together into a slightly longer sequence. “HH fitness is great! Xabi is a wonderful instructor who pushes you to get a great workout in every time. He's super energetic and supportive and as a result, the gym has a real community feel. Xabi offers a variety of classes (spin, weights, Bosu ball, etc.) and the exercises he leads you through change constantly such that it's never boring or predictable, which I really appreciate. I moved out of California and still make time to see Xabi and attend class whenever I'm back in town!”

“My husband and I attend classes 3-4 days a week. We love the instructor lead program and see results in our weight, balance and strength. We are both retired, and like to bike, hike, kayak and ski. Bridges program is the perfect training to keep us healthy and able to do other sports without injury. It is almost like having a personal trainer without the cost. Each session can be tailored to individual needs. It is also a small community of like minded individuals who encourage each other to keep fit and to keep with the program!”

“Christian has been amazing! Being a martial arts studio owner and instructor for over 40 years I know what a good trainer is. I started my online training with him back in May of this year and I’ve lost 28 lbs in 23 weeks. At age 63 I feel like I’m back in the shape I was in when I was in my 20’s. Over the years I’ve had several personal trainers. I’ve enjoyed Christian’s program the most. His diet plans are perfect for my needs and his choice of workout routines are also great! My goal is to continue to train with him. I can only imagine how much better the experience would be if I could train live with him so he could push me beyond my limits.”

I joined simply with the intention of getting a good workout with kettlebells, yet almost immediately started the deeper dive into kettlebell sport. Denis is incredible to work with - knowledgeable, passionate, and motivating. His focus on technique and personalized training regimens has been incredibly helpful and appropriately challenging, especially for someone like me who was new to kettlebell sport. I've now competed a few times and love it.The atmosphere here is excellent, equipment solid, lots of camaraderie, great mix of other guys and gals, some who compete, some who do not. And bonus as it's a dog friendly locale!”

“I recently decided to sign up and give this gym a try since it was in my neighborhood, and it was exclusively for women, and I’m so happy I did! I don’t typically like big crowds, especially in a gym setting, so this place was perfect for me! When I went in to sign up, they were having a class, and the staff and gym members that were there were so nice and welcoming.Having 24 hour safe and secure access to the gym is a big plus for me and allows me to be able to fit working out in my schedule as it allows. The gym is equipped with everything you need to have an awesome workout session, and at the times I go, there isn’t more than a few people in at a time, which is a huge plus for me.It’s been a few weeks since I’ve signed up, and I have found that I have been attending the gym more often than I normally would when I was with a larger commercial gym, and I feel like my work outs are more focused and efficient since I feel so comfortable in the space. It feels like my own home gym away from home!! You can really curate your work outs and experience to what you want or need. If you like group exercises and a community of women to work out with – they have that OR If you’re more into a more private, personal gym experience like myself, this gym has that too!! Really the best of both worlds. If you’re on the fence about joining, give the free trial a chance, you will be happy you did!”
