I run a bbc blown alc 498, i used their off the shelf pistons that were really made for a nitrous application and not for blown alcohol, especially 22 lbs of boost turning it 7900 , but due to covid in 2020 when i built the engine, and time constraints, i didnt have time for custom pistons. I beat the hell out of these for two seasons and 100 passes , the engine still lives not one issue with the pistons.Thanks for making great products! I look forward to using them in my next engine.

I had a failure in my custom built 2.2 due to a spiral lock in one piston coming out and ruining the block. So I called and they said it wasn't there fault and there parts never fail. So they practically said they have never made a mistake. So they weren't gonna help with the cost at all and they won't make me just one to replace it. Ross wants me to buy 4 brand new ones even tho I only need one. Terrible customer service.

Ross Pistons off the shelf are excellent but if you have an oddball combination or want a specific compression or ring pack etc, their custom pistons are a sample of perfection! When it comes to custom pistons, Ross is all BNB Racing will order & currently doing a build documenting everything to go on social media!

When it comes to pistons and customer service, Ross pistons is the place to go. I wish it was located in Sweden, but the shipping is fast and safe too! Will be nice to make a visit in July, when i´m coming to LA!
