If you want an e-bike, e-RYDE is sooo much better than a big box store, or even a bike shop that sells e-bikes on the side. The staff took the time to show our 14 y/o all the brands and styles and answer many questions. When the bike we ultimately purchased developed problems (not e-RYDE’s fault!) their repair department engaged in extensive back and forth with the manufacturer and really kept going until it was fully fixed. I can’t imagine getting that degree of friendly, professional service anywhere else!

A 2-3 day repair turned into 2 months. I know Craig was working on the repair and in the end couldn’t fix it ($80 for no repair). Brandon and others were just straight up short with me on the phone and so much finger pointing at the manufacturer blaming them for delaying. Now I see other posts about the same issue. I specifically told them to keep the bike inside because the manufacturer told me the motor couldn’t be more than a few hours in the sun. Come to find out they kept it outside for 2 weeks, so a $4,000 bike treated like someone else’s trash. Wish I never brought it here.

I wanted to thank Eryde and Brandon for helping me and my son pick out the right bike for him and had a lot of patience and appreciate all his hard work.

After speaking with store representative I've been assured that they would take care of my bike, I drove 10 miles and received answer that there is nothing they can do. Waste of time.

I took my bike to e-ryde for a tune up twice. The first time I called on Thursday and asked to make an appointment. They said they do walk-ins no appointments. So I went there and I was told that they can do a 1-day turnaround, with very limited exceptions a 2-day turnaround. I showed up at their location in El Segundo at 10:58 on friday July 12th. That same day I called at 5:30 asking if my bike would be ready before 6 they stated no and they would call me. On Saturday July 13th I called them around 2pm asking if it would be ready they said it had two bikes in front of it in the queue and to come at closing and it would be ready. I showed up at 5:30 and they stated they were sorry but they didn't get to it so I took it back and rode home. I firmly believe in second chances so I went back on Wednesday July 17th at 11:03am and told them bluntly I need a same day turn around they said we remember you we are so sorry yes absolutely come by anytime after 2pm and it will be ready. I returned at 5:30 and they hadn't completed the maintenance and stated just give us til 6:30. At 6:10 I was told it was completed and to pay. In their notes they stated they lubricated the said tightened bolts and check air pressure. My bike is a belt driven bike and lubricating the belt actually damages it. I checked my belt and sure enough it had lubricant on it. In addition the mechanic that worked on my bike loosened the bike hydraulic lines to the point where it began to leak on my on my way home and I had to stop and do emergency fixing on the side of the road. This cost me $150.00! Please don't take your bike here if you value its longevity or if you value your money. They don't value their customers time and the staff is very short tempered when you point out any issues. Even though propel is all the way in Long Beach I'll be taking my bike there to fix the damage e-ryde has done.

Nice enough guys running the shop but there was a breakdown in communication several times. Hydraulic brakes were installed and satisfactory. I also asked they look into why the bike was steering poorly. Come to find out there was only 6psi of air. Totally my fault and they charged 35.00 to correct this. However, I got the bike home and discovered the handle bars were off center. (They were centered at drop off) I would have expected this simple correction to be part of the 35.00 charge.

I called Eryde LA in March 2024 to check if they had the Ride SS Pro 2.0 in stock. I spoke with Shawn, who confirmed they did. I asked if they could assemble it since my drive was about an hour, and I wanted to load the bike and go. When I arrived, Shawn informed me that the bike was being put together and would be ready in about 10 minutes.
After paying for the bike in cash with no questions asked, we went to load it. During the loading process, a small mishap occurred where the bike seat got caught on something in the truck. I didn’t notice the damage until I got home, so I called Shawn to let him know. He assured me not to worry and said he would request a replacement seat since I had just purchased the bike the day before.
In May 2025, I called and spoke to a manager about the status of the replacement. The manager told me that it wasn’t their issue that the bike seat was torn and that Shawn shouldn’t have promised a replacement, but he would see what he could do. Considering the seat costs less than $50, I was quite disappointed.
From a customer service perspective, I’d rate my experience with Eryde a 3 out of 10. It seemed like blame was being passed around with no real resolution. Ultimately, I ordered a new seat from Bike Factory Hawaii, and their service was fantastic, even from 2,593 miles away. Genuine service shines through, regardless of distance.
I expected a local shop that does repairs to be on top of a small issue like this, but I was disappointed and disheartened. I hope Eryde LA improves their service in the future.

THE WOST SERVICE EVERI dropped my son’s bike off on December 5th, not once have I received communication from anyone. Not a call, email or text on the status.Ive called several times, no one answers. I came to the shop over a week ago and spoke to Craig or Greg to express my frustration and find out whats wrong with the bike, what parts were needed etc.He confirmed nothing has been done and he would call and follow up with the manufacturer again. He stated he was the supervisor and assured me I would receive a call from him later that evening with a more elaborate update. He failed to keep that promise. Over a week later and still NO COMMUNICATION.Tomorrow I will pick up my son’s bike and will not be paying anything. I dont care what or what hasn’t been done. This has to be the most disappointing and unprofessional service I have ever received. As a small business owner myself regardless of business volume, staff coverage or mishaps, this type of service is unacceptable.
