Dr. Jasmine chwa has got to be the worst doctor ever. When you call the main number to this building it sends you to a horrible operating system. Every time I've called to speak to the doctor it goes straight to voicemail. I've left multiple messages to get a returned call. No one calls back unless you spam the shit out of their voicemail. Its so upsetting that they've truly neglected my situation and insisted I go to urgent care instead. Last week i was also prescribed with ibuprofen and promethazine, the nurse said the doctor would call me back to insure me about what i was going to be prescribed to me. I never got a call from the Dr. Chwa. Respectfully that doctor needs to go back to grad school or find a new profession.

This was my first time at El Monte Health Care Center and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly hospital staff and the cleanliness of the health center! I was a little skeptical because of all the negative reviews but this a great example of 'never judge a book by its cover' I definitely recommend :) P.S. Dr. Shah is great

The people in the front are rude and expect you to greet them as if you are the one working there, i saw this lady asking the guy in the front a question and he got so mad and told her to at least say good morning, this is a clinic people come feeling like shit sometimes, what do you expect? doctor wise i cant never get an appt with my doctor it takes forever always got to see a different one and if your lab results come out ok you automatically are healthy theres no problems with your health even if you are not feeling ok

The absolute worst experience I have ever had ANYWHERE in my life, and this is supposed to be a place you seek "medical care"? I have been in and out of this place 5 times this week, and today was told that my symptoms are basically non existent because my blood work came back clean. Angeli Bautista made me feel like a complete fool for being concerned over DRASTIC changes occurring all over my skin, my veins, my entire body. Talked over me every time I tried to explain my symptoms, never let me finish one sentence, told me she couldn't do anything about any of my pain and that "things don't happen in a day" and snapped her fingers repeatedly. I am not demanding, I am not rude, I am not impolite, I am scared for my health and have lots of questions and concerns. None of which were answered or frankly even addressed. Again, I have been here numerous times just this week and have received none of the help that I need. I will also be filing a complaint against her to the medical board in hopes that she never treats another patient the way she treated me today. I left even more worried than I came. Please do not come here in high hopes of getting answers, or even being heard. You will not.

This place is horrendous. We had an appointment for 10am with Dr. Jasmine Chwa. It is now noon and we still have not yet been seen. They've sat us in the waiting room without providing so much as an update as to why we've been kept waiting for so long. When we inquired with the receptionist, instead of apologizing for the excessive delay, she literally said this doctor is notorious for running late and if we don't like to wait endlessly, we should go with another doctor. Are you kidding me?? How about talking to the doctor for her to keep an appointment when it's scheduled or she should not be scheduling it as though her patients have nothing better to do w their days other than wait until who knows when to be seen? The solution should not be for us to go elsewhere but for them to fix their own mistake. What an epic failure providing NON-patient care! Entirely unprofessional and incompetent.

It has been impossible to speak directly to my doctor about literally anything, and in addition to that this clinic is not communicative. Whether it be blood work results, ultrasound results, or a medication refill, they don't call you to go over anything. I asked my doctor to fill out a form for my job and played phone tag with the nurses for 3 weeks just to call back on the third week and be told that they couldn't fill out the form. When I asked why there was no real answer. They told me that it had been noted on my chart that they couldn't do it, but they failed to inform me. This form had a deadline that they were aware of and this did not make a difference. After speaking to multiple nurses the doctor finally wrote a doctors note, but after reading it I realized she may as well not have written anything. I've seen letters to Santa written by children that made more sense. I waited three weeks for two sentences worth of chicken scratch that my job obviously told me they couldn't accept.

no good .went to apoinment with dr.sandy lee.after i had a head injury in a car accident the doctors at the hopital told me to wach up for sintoms that can show in the future in the brain .as inability to awake. vision probmems stroke headaches , confusion and more.i am experiencing all of them. and dr.sandy lee didn't check me no even ask me where was my pain or give me medication.can't beleve she even was unwelling to listen my life is in risk and she didn't take seriously.she dint read it !

Thank you the taxpayers, that i could be afforded the dignity to receive care (via La Care Medi-Cal) from Dr. Allevato, his team, and all the other excellence contributors to this pillar of modern achievement the El monte Comprehensive Health Center. A judgement free safe place to heal. This institution itself feels HEALTHY where as so many providers are plagued with greed, a cancer on our world. Thank you! Thank you so much.

First time i came to this health center and i find it very courteous and helpful by the staffs work there. They each guide and point me to direction to where i am going, that's was nice. Waiting for 40 minutes is not bad and check in was very easy. Communications from the staffs and the gentleman stand at the door was awesome.

I hate that none of these drs or nurses speak english as their 5th f****** language so i can never understand what the f*** their saying. I have a BA and Masters degree but have brain damage due to ptsd and trying to find a way to pay for treatment so i can be better and guess what geta career and a job so i dont have to go to this f****** shitty place
