We came in to do a name change on our bank account through the teller and they told us we had to talk to a representative, so we scheduled an appointment to talk to someone the following day at 4:30. Turns out when I get there we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to free up. Kind of defeats the purpose of an appointment when you have to wait so long. Extra star because the representative that finally helped us was super friendly and helpful.

I tried the drive thru ATM, but it would not accept or dispense cash. I went inside to find one of the ATM’s said the same thing, and neither inside ATM would allow me to use the card on my phone. I waited in line for 20-minutes to withdrawal cash. The tellers are always super nice though!

Came in to open an account and people arrived after and skipped us there used to be a sign up sheet for people waiting but i guess not anymore

What is the point of telling me you set an appointment if I just wait longer than the people in line when I get there? It is always chaotic in here with a long line of people doing tiny transactions. This branch is literally the worst chase branch.

The person in the counter has altitude and doesn't accept my cash due to the reason that the cash feels dampened. But their machine can count the amount of cash. Went to another branch and all goes fine. Pretty bad Chase that I ever go to. No good

I was in & out in just a few minutes. I'm Disabled, cause there is a DISABLED LINE FOR THE DISABLE AND HANDICAP. THEY GREET AND DIRECT YOU TO ASSIST YOU TO THE CORRECT LINE OR JUST TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. VERY NICE AND POLITE PERSONAL.

Wasn't happy at all. She brought out the change for me with the deposit bag as I was waiting in the waiting area. I asked her if I could have the deposit bag? She asked me if I have a business account. I replied yes and she said I have to go back to the branch where I opened the account.

This is the worst location. ATMs are always not in service. Today I waited in an extremely long line wIt's only two representatives. I askEx why they were so short staffed. I got excuses such as it's the first of the month. And I came at a busy time. Ridiculous. I asked to speak with their Manager Israel. Incompetent man. He stated to me that he had four staff call out due to COVID and there's nothing he can do about it. Not the answer I expected from a manager. Ridiculous location and staff

I was treated rudely by staff when I came in to request some change. I waited in line and went to the first available teller. I brought a small amount of cash into the bank ($300) and pulled it from my wallet and asked for change. I also gave them my ID. I was told they would not exchange any ripped, wet, or bills with an odor on them, but the money was clean and came straight from my wallet. I'm unsure of how $20 bills direct from an ATM could have a foul odor to them, but regardless I requested my ID back and left. Horrible customer service.

“And the ALL TIME worst customer service AWARD GOES TOOO…(drumrolls)Chase Bank in South El Monte on valley Blvd!!!I had an insurance claim check that I wanted deposited,not cashed but deposited…mind you it’s from chase and the insurance brand..they said I needed my wife to physically be present to proof identity and to endorse..I said no way am I doing that I’m a bank customer and have valid id plus the FIRST NAME ON CHECK IS MINE THEN MY WIFE being we share the same car insurance policy.The half witt “ refused I was made to bring my wife in to prove I was not a thief and my wife is well aware of what’s happening…once there with my wife I asked to speak to the Queen(manager)i told her here is the wifey can I deposit my check now she refused directed me to mobile deposit the check neglected to enforce the same policy she made a big deal out of I tell you adhere to all these terrible reviews that are 5 years old and recently…they are all true it happened to me it will happen to you I’m done with chase for what the staff did to me.

Worst customer service starting by the teller Francia Amaro and continuing with the manager who refused to provide me with her name. I went to El Monte branch to buy Indian Rupee and 3 times I told the teller that I wanted Indian rupee. Instead of asking the manager why the Indian rupee was not listed on the Chase's list of foreign currency, she decided to give me Mauritius rupee. Two days later, when I went to the branch to pick up the currency and told the manager that the teller made a mistake, she asked me to return later and when I did, she told me that she "confirmed with the teller that she confirmed with me that I requested the wrong rupee". I am very disappointed, because I have been a Chase customer for so many years and the manager -as a manager- instead of making this issue work for both, the bank and myself, she put the blame on me. I felt so helpless and upset to the point that I will cancel my Chase account so I do not have to make any more business with Chase.
