Go to O'Reilly's, get it price matched don't waste your time here. This autozone I'm particularly used to be my go to spot for all my automotive parts, not anymore, I have had nothing but bad experiences and horrible service. I am sure there's still some good knowledgeable workers but I haven't had the luck in finding any of them at this time. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and they had me waiting over 20 minutes for some pricing that I never received. Most of the employees act like they are doing us a favor by attending to a customer. Like I said it used to be the spot, now just take your money elsewhere and save yourself the frustration. Do it right or do It twice but with their knowledge and reputation of giving you the wrong parts you'll be doing it three times.

I recently visited store #2863 in El Monte to have my battery checked. I was told by the Associate Mike that my battery was indeed dead and that I needed a new one that he was happy to deliver. I decided to get a second check from AAA and come to find out my battery was good and didn’t need changing. The problem is when I went to the store to inform Mike that he might want to have his tools fixed before any other customers think they need to replace their battery unnecessarily, his attitude was indifferent and he wasn’t as enthusiastic about servicing the customer as he previously was with trying to sell me a battery I didn’t need. I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s a generational thing with him being younger and just “blah” about everything but no this is money that could be used towards something else rather then having to buy a battery because I didn’t get a second opinion. Terrible experience, terrible customer service, valuable lesson however.Called the customer service and let them know about my experience and no response.Got a call from this store yesterday but was at work and they left no message so nobody is taking this seriously it’s so sad.

I'm a car buff and worked in automotive my whole life always walk in and look around and find stuff I mite need nice helpful staff at every location

Right part at the right price, Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff of associates with an outstanding team leader at their commercial counter Kathy. My Autozone was out of stock on the part I needed and went out of their way to allow me to pay at their location sending their driver to a second location and deliver the part to the local shop my vehicle was being worked on at in a timely manner. Who could ask for anything more ... A+ /??

PLEASE RETRAIN RUDE EMPLOYEE, HE DOES NOT TOLERATE CUSTOMERS ASKING QUESTIONS IN SPANISH IN EL MONTE!. AutoZone customer is most important person at the store, and we don't expect every single representative speaks Spanish; however, the gentleman who processed my order was so rude when I asked him a question in Spanish, he didn't let me finish the sentence and on a disrespectful manner interrupted me by saying "what?" And looking at his face tells you all. He practically invited me to don't return back. I speak both languages, but I can image people who are arriving at the store in a neighborhood 90% Hispanic! There is something a good way to let the customer know that they only speak one language. According to him he interrupted customers when speaking Spanish because "he doesn't want them waste their time" there is not reason to acting rude by saying "What?". For people like him, business are losing good customers.

Came in today on 3/13/23 at 1pm to have my battery replaced. The guy was very professional and fast. He even offered to educate me on how to keep my battery last longer. I offered to tip him for the service he did but he gently refused it saying it was part of his job. I was on my lunch break so I didn’t get a chance to get his name. Excellent job. I would highly recommend. Thank you for the great things you did. 5 stars !!!
