Through AAA, came to my rescue for a flat tire. In the middle of nowhere in the dark so appreciate the calls and texts to confirm. Abdul was adorable (I'm old enuf to be his grandma so I get to say adorable) efficient and friendly. Right on time and finished in a flash.

Towed my Mercedes Benz from 805 S freeway exit 21. There's a bit of delay, because the first contract tow company ( never materialized). USA towing and recovery answer the call and provide the service needed for any customer. Last night we are that customer( 10-13-2023 ) They provided outstanding customer service to myself and off course taking care of my 2006 Benz. The car is delivered to Orange County no problem. Please recognize Mr. Hadi for his professionalism and outstanding services rendered last night . We always say as a former sailor " BRAVO ZULU !! CPO (ret) W. B. Zalameda. Again, Thank You for Outstanding job performance !!

This is a review only about their service of motorcycle towing. If you have a motorcycle, mine is a crotch rocket, CBR1000rr, beware. While securing the motorcycle to the flatbed, the driver took a metal hook and tied it around the front suspension fork, I stopped him before it got too tight, had it been tightened, it would have dug into the metal on the forks as well as the plastic faring. I had a "canyon dancer" strap that other tow drivers have used so metal hooks aren't attached directly to the handle bars (see photo). The driver tied it down so tight the rear tire went up in the air 8 inches (the kickstand was still down). I pointed that out to the driver how the back tire was in the air and he tried to push it back down and looked confused as to why that was happening. I was not about to let this experiment continue so I told the driver to lower the bike. I told him it seemed like he didn't have the experience to properly secure the bike and I sent him away. I was contacted by "Ray" who claimed to be a AAA employee he said that tire in the air was normal and it was just my opinion that is was being done improperly. Ok Ray. This company has towed me before and they seemed confused at that time as to how to properly secure a motorcycle without damaging it. Ray assured me the driver knew what he was doing but when I mentioned the back tire being up in the air, he said that was again probably normal. Ok Ray. I asked to speak with Ray's supervisor and he said he doesn't have one. Ok Ray. I was instructed to call AAA, even though Ray identified himself as a AAA employee but he could not transfer me to his supervisor. This immediately was a red flag. When I asked him what office he worked out of for AAA he said that wasn't important. I listed the two main offices local to me, one in San Diego and another in Santa Ana, he got silent. I told him those are the two call centers and asked if he was out of one of those two locations. He said that wasn't important. Ok Ray. Ray continued to say that since the job was cancelled by me, it would still count against the amount of tow incidents I have with AAA. Big surprise, the AAA employee when I contacted the 800 number (the real AAA Office) said I had nothing to worry about. Who is Ray? Well he is not a AAA employee, but he is a contractor. The number he was calling me from? It was the towing company not a AAA Office. Steer clear if you are having a motorcycle towed. Do better over there folks, your business depends on it.

The USA Towing (289 Vernon Way, El Cajon, CA 92020) driver (Jay) was absolutely excellent after my accident. He was able to tell me what he thought probably happened and what might need replacement on my car. He was very knowledgable about vehicles and even looked underneath for damage. Damages weren't readily obvious.I really appreciated that he was able to troubleshoot solutions with me and knew the best nearby repair shops to use. He answered all my questions and was able to estimate what it might cost me. He helped me more than some of the mechanics I know and really put my mind at ease. Thank you USA Towing! (AAA Membership paid)

I do not recommend this company to anyone requiring towing or battery service. We were set up with service from USA Towing through our AAA membership to replace a battery on one of our cars. When the USA Towing technician arrived to our home to replace the battery, he instructed us to move our vehicle onto our driveway to perform the work. He then proceeded to pour hot water on our car battery, allowing battery corrosion/acid to run all over our driveway, causing very significant damage to our driveway that could not be hosed off. (Pic 1). The technician shrugged it off, suggested we hose it down, and left. Without realizing the significance of the damage he'd just caused, we attempted to clean the stain ourselves by hosing down the driveway with water for several hours after the technician left our home - to no avail.Following the damage that was done to our driveway, AAA put us in touch with the general manager of USA Towing. After several days of attempted email and phone contact with the general manager, he finally returned my call and said that he'd "ordered some chemicals on Amazon to clean it" and would let us know when the chemicals arrived. A few days later, more technicians with USA Towing (not professional power washers), showed up to our home with chemicals they ordered on Amazon, and a pressure washer. While the chemicals they used did get rid of the acid stain, they also somehow caused even more damage to our driveway! (Pic 2). The technicians told us the damage would "blend in" within two weeks and left. We followed up about 10 days later to report the existing damage - the general manager never acknowledged our email or responded to us. After waiting for a month for a response from the general manager, we followed up with AAA to let them know about the lack of response from USA Towing, as well as the the further damage to our driveway, once again caused by USA Towing's technicians' lousy work. To this day, USA Towing's general manager has not reached out to us. Ultimately, we had to file an investigation through AAA, which required us to hire a company ourselves who could attempt to repair the damages. We ended up hiring someone to do repairs and AAA reimbursed us for the cost (thank you AAA!).Unfortunately, AAA is still contracted with USA towing and though our experience does not seem to be isolated based on USA Towing's terrible BBB status, AAA will continue doing business with them. I am writing this review in hopes that other people in our situation will NOT use USA Towing, as we do not trust their company, especially their general manager, and would not recommend their services to anyone.

I would tend to agree with the negative reviews here about crappy behavior. Just watched one of their drivers in a company pickup truck on the road being a total aggressive d-bag, cutting people off and blowing through red lights in Santee.

they are a provider for AAA roadside device but with service like theirs you are better off walking home. The arrogant misogynistic driver will leave you stranded rather than help you. He was coming towards me and then drove off , answered my call, proceeded to scream at me and then hang up and leave. i will be notifying AAA as well.

My car broke down at the Clairemont Mesa Town Square mall and was undriveable because the shifter was inoperable and when the tow driver came by he was very helpful with advice and almost repaired it on the spotbut after a few tries we decided to tow it to the mechanic to have it looked at. It happened in the afternoon on Friday. June 30th and the driver was very cool and I appreciate his help that day. It turned out the part that broke wasin the shifter mechanism but it's back to normal now and thanks very much for your advice! Great customer service.Steven F.

This is a whole racket after our car got into an accident they held our car for ransom. Absolute trash operation. They counted my car held for 3 total days when it was barely a day and a half. Their tow fees are insane. Worst experience for an accident that wasn't even our fault. The people collecting the money here too are not very nice or understanding. TRASH.
