First off, I got there 5 minutes before closing time and I know how it feels to be the last customer at the last minute, but I have a wedding photo shoot and I need to find something nice since I'm a big fella and I couldn't of asked for better help than Marie's assistance. She was great and patient with my needs, she went the extra mile to look for clothing that would look nice on me. I give her a 20 out of 10 great job Marie, hopefully you get a raise cause the world needs more people like you.”

I have not had customer service like this in years! Everyone was super helpful but one person stood out. Ben went out of his way to help me find my new pair of shoes & called around to other stores to help find the other pair I've been wanting for along time. Thank you El Cajon Vans- you are all truly amazing!”

“5 stars based on my initial experience for a minor ask today. This is a small, local shop that looks quite busy judging from their shop packed full of boots and saddles and purses and belts. It's kind of cool to be surrounded by lots of leather goods. It's a quaint operation. The gentleman at the counter today was professional and kind. I can see how some people would think being professional and getting to the point would be considered off-putting, but I'm someone who likes to get in and get out, so I was happy to get straight to why I came there. I needed some extra holes punched in the strap of my purse and he took my purse back and came back about 3 minutes later and it was done. Best part? No charge. He could have charged me $10 and I was ready to pay a fee, but he was nice enough to do the work for free. 5 stars until this business gives me reason to rate otherwise.”

“They have a lot of outdoor stuff I go for the shoes they do have 10 dollar coupons along but one of 2 things they need to do is do t email us 2 ti.es a day with ads o ce a week is good. Another improvement bigger sizes on cloths just 1x is all you have some of the popular clothsth I need 4xxl I'm a big guy so I'd like to see that other than that everything is fine”

“The man that was working there was extremely knowledgeable. He multi tasked at the highest level for being the only employee. He explained the options well and didn't mind taking out many different sizes and types for us to try on. Also, they have a large array of boots for different reasons. Heeled, no heel, high top, short, and all different colors. They also have a very cool machine that identifies what type of arch support you'd need, which was super helpful for us The boots are pricey, can't deny it. We spent nearly 400 on just one pair plus an insole. But! My super sensitive footed boyfriend has said his feet never hurt at work. Plus the boots come with warrantee for life. It's an investment !”
“I typically get all of our shoes at famous, mainly at this location. Staff is always super helpful and prices are always good. However the one negative is that common shoe sizes are often out of stock. This is typical for famous tho. So I knock it a star for this. To keep brick and morter competitive with the internet it would be best to stock regularly. Specially for those impulse buys. Just my 2 cents.”
“Went in tonight 12/17 on a busy night 8 days till Christmas. I went straight to the register asking for help to find a previous purchases as I wanted to buy my husband the same work boots he likes. Max took the time with a long line of people to find the boots then got them for me and rang them up without me having to get back into line. I appreciated his patience and willingness to help me. “Just an awesome sore that has kind and caring employees that care to help every customer. I haven't been here in quite some time, however, definitely needs to stop by again because the first time that I went there, I had a very nice employee help me out with an accessory and he gave me exceptional service so I enjoyed their sparkly selection of sandals and accessories. “Went in to get some new running shoes. I had a couple in mind, but also asked for recommendations. Ean was extremely helpful. At one point, it seemed he was the only employee on the floor, but he handled all the requests well. He kept checking on me and willingly found each shoe I requested. I know I can be indecisive sometimes with purchases like this, so as it got busier I was nervous I ‘d be forgotten about, but Ean stayed on top of everything, gave great recommendations, and was very helpful in my pursuit of new running shoes.
