“Taco Tuesday 1.25$ each... there was a line .... Excellent.... Even my wife got "taconverted"Ambiance is very family and people knew each other. Friendly patient employees. Mega taco orders .”
“I picked up freshly cooked whole turkeys for our work potluck here. First impressions: plenty of parking in their dedicated parking lot, inviting market with lots of specialty products, and helpful, efficient staff. An employee helped me and the turkeys to my car. The turkeys, while on the pricier side, were the best I have ever tasted. Both the white and dark meat were tender and flavorful. Funny story: we forgot to bring a carving set to our potluck. These turkeys were so tender we literally cut all three with a plastic butter knife. Incredible! I look forward to returning and exploring more of their offerings.”

342 1st St, Los Altos“Quality and healthy foods but be prepared to pay much higher prices. 7" pie at Draegers costs the same as 10" at chain stores Higher prices for slightly upgraded ingredients and service”
“Fresh sushi made on site. The Maya in the butcher case looked amazing. Awesome drink selections on the back wall! Small store with a surprisingly big selection and super friendly staff. Ample parking, Wells Fargo, and a Starbucks in the same shopping center.”
“Love going on my bike everyday to get snacks, great prices, great food I recommend the tamales. Amazing service, really organized and overall a really good grocery store to buy from”

There was a time when I dreaded coming in here because of the staff and the poor quality of produce. NO MORE. this store has improved by leaps and bounds. The produce is great now. The meat is above average especially for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you all!”
“Cute and well managed small supermarket in a quite community in Redwood City. Great selections of everyday essentials and they sell also grab and go lunchables and snacks.”
“I love this place I live on the same street so I go very often when I want snacks. It's a family business each one of them is so friendly and inviting. Since I'm always there they know me and I told the lady I recently got a job and that's why I haven't been there in a while and she was very genuinely happy for me she was happy to see me there. Their costumer service is the best they're all such sweet people, always in a great mood their great energy is appreciated.”

35820 Fremont Blvd, Fremont“The store is fine. I do other business in this mini mall so there is a convenience factor. Kindly train all of your cashiers to greet everyone, regardless of nationality, shape, gender, age, etc. Different cultures and countries have different customs definitely but some people really appreciate exchanging a few pleasantries. There's no way to know for sure where every customer is coming from so it's a good idea to treat everyone the same way. Thank you.”

200 Woodside Plz, Redwood City“I love this market! I find the people are very helpful! I especially love the meat department. Vu and Joe provide excellent service and are really nice people. Great selection. When I needed a rib roast, they will cut the size you need. They also cut off the ribs and tie it back for you. I needed 1" thick flanken short ribs... they will cut it for you too! Their prices are very good and service is excellent. Bd sure to suggest up for the in-store coupons and store specials. Some of the digital coupons prices are amazing. Although I don't live here, whenever I'm in the neighborhood, this is my go to market. Thank you”
“Good deals. Large portion of food. It’s very scary. The ribs and chicken were surprisingly good. The bag of chips was crazy huge. I’m glad that this place is available for the cost conscious customer.”

484 N Mathilda Ave, Sunnyvale“I happen to see the reviews and thought that the reviews were dated and did not reflect my recent experience. Good location. Easy parking which is important. Has everything I want. Clean and wide aisles. I am used to self checkout and I usually don't have to wait for more than a few minutes. The plaza has Starbucks, Wells Fargo ATM, other small stores.”

5000 Mowry Ave, Fremont“Lucky has a better assortment of Mexican products than other supermarkets in the area, like jarritos, corn tortillas, bolillos, salsa valentina, tajin, mole, chayotes, calabacita, gary gelatine and flan. And sometimes pan dulce and queso fresco.”
“Better selection / fewer out of stock items than Safeway - especially milk! Less hectic parking and store = better ambiance / shopping experience! Easter steak & potatoes from the deli were better than Town (popular steakhouse)! The lady preparing these really went above and beyond!”

34101 Fremont Blvd, Fremont“The best grocery for exotic foods from other countries. I try everything. I drive here from Santa Rosa, California, because the food is more interesting, international, exotic. Amazing team. Great lessons on taste and dishes for my family and children”

919 Edgewater Blvd, Foster City“Fairly good place with decent prices. I usually go to Safeway close by but these guys have Straus brand milk always on the shelf. Self checkout works pretty well so avoid lines on regular checkout.”

3705 El Camino Real, Santa Clara“This store was a good size and had most of what I needed to shop for. I ended up getting dungeness crab legs for $9.99/lb and I thought that was a good deal. They always have the 5 for $25 sale going on and I believe that it's a good value if you need to buy in bulk, or have the room in your freezer and want to save money on goods you'll buy anyway.”
“I had tried Thai iced tea concentrate from Costco and loved it. Lions carried Thai tea leaves!! Tea from scratch is easy and delicious! They have a good selection of Asian foods!”

32300 Dyer St, Union City“Nice! Great Service! We did an April Fool's Joke and one guy from our group said "thank you" over 20 times while checking out, said "how are you doing" 5 times, and said "sorry" at least 8 times. They never got annoyed. Excellent job with customer service.”
“Oakwood Market has been a staple in East Palo Alto. The owners are very customer friendly and know their customers and community. They have variety of produce and proteins. The chorizo, breakfast sausage, party wings are a must get. Again they have a variety of things so go ahead and give them a try. Weather you're in Palo Alto , it's literally right over the bridge. They have a huge parking lot out side so you don't have to worry about that. Thanks again to the Oakwood family for taking care of the community and people. Much love.”
