“Passed by on our way to dinner and they were still open after we dined, so we took a peak inside. Finally found some organic mung beans without yellow coloring which we had to get. They have fresh vegetables, frozen Indian food, spices, yummy snacks, a variety of oils even castor oil, every dried bean you'd want without additives, dishes and bowls, rice, and so much more. My husband was looking for some sunflower oil but the smallest size to season his new pans. He asked the cashier who grabbed a sample size from behind the counter and gave it to him. They're very sweet here. And open late! Thanks for the great service!”

“Jana was so helpful with me in helping me find what I needed. She was also very kind and caring. Gosh, if the world had more people like Jana we would be in a lot better place. Thank you Jana for making my experience wonderful.”

“What I like about Lucky's is that it has the best food. I also enjoy Safeway but Lucky's has great food and customer service. What is the ironic thing about then to now is like having a pull over right now trying to get to Orlando from a small town just south trying to create what is known as Beauty Intoxication. Seems like it has been long ago when I was with Lucky. 2006 Track we are on right now and Daniel needs to make his commission. Situations from Modesto management and Local area's is like getting back on your feet. Just I wonder what my ex is up to.”

“I came here just for their Berry chantilly cake. I wanted to ensure I snagged one for hubby's birthday so I ordered it online ahead of time with the pick up time. I didn't realize the worker would be waiting at the front of the store with the cake in hand. He gave it to me and then I felt pretty bad b/c I ended up asking him which way was the bakery (while holding my cake). He was probably a bit confused but I also didn't know he'd be AT the front of the store. I thought I would be picking it up AT the bakery area. I wanted them to write Happy birthday on it. The display had quite a few berry chantilly cakes so I guess I would've been okay not ordering ahead but I couldn't take that chance. Also, I had read reviews on here saying that they skimped on the berries. From the looks of it, mine looked like the ones in the display case and they had a good amount of berries on them, so seems they fixed this issue :) The guy at the bakery had a bit of a strange and awkward personality and didn't like it that I set the cake box on the countertop b/c I was apparently squishing a paper that was taped on the counter, and made sure I knew he didn't like it. It's not that serious my dude. He looked at me and was like, "you just picked up that cake..." I go yeah I know. I told him that I wanted writing on the cake and had me verify the form. He made it seem like it would be a while until it could be done b/c a baker would have to write it. I'm thinking oh goodness. When I asked how long would be the wait, he said like 3 minutes. ok, he could've just led with that. Overall not the best interaction with him. I also picked up a mini cheesecake with a big strawberry on top. The cheesecake was yummy but the crust was made of what tasted like gingersnap cookies. The icing/frosting on top was really thick and hard. It was okay for me but hubby didn't like it. The chantilly cake however was delicious! I would get it again, everyone liked it and I see what everyone is talking about.”

“Safeway Deli REALLY impressed me with 3 trays for an event. The meat, cheese and fruit were not only fresh and tasty but it was beautiful. Our guests were also impressed. I will definitely return.”

“My recent visit to the Sahara Market was quite pleasant but unusual. The extensive array of groceries, aromatic spices, and freshly baked bread showcased the authenticity and quality of their products. The integration of a restaurant within the store added an extra layer of convenience. What took me by surprise was the peculiar but manageable business process of requiring a minimum $10 total for card transactions or else you are required to pay in cash. While it might be an inconvenience for small purchases, it also encouraged me to explore more of the store's offerings. They certainly offer an extensive selection of items so in that respect I do recommend a visit... just be sure to bring cash.”

“Wonderful experience here! The old staff isn’t there anymore and these new guys are amazing! Fayaz and Noah did an amazing job helping me get a new phone and so fast at getting everything over. 5 out 5 experience. Fayaz went above and beyond.”

“I've been shopping here for a few years. Some of the best selection with the Tri-Valley Area. Pricing is mostly secondary on the high end bottles. But keeps selection. I recently bought a 1792 single barrel and an old looking Nikka pure malt (looks like the 12 yr old but a NAS)”

“One of the best Safeways around. Incredible wine selection and the store is very clean with wide aisles. Great hours. Safeways can be unpleasant. The ones in Alameda, Hayward, Castro Valley - I don't enjoy going to them. Its more a reflection of those cities than it is the store. They are crowded or deserted or older or whatever. Bottom line - just not a place I want to spend any extra time in if I don't have to. Wine selection is incredible. So many different varieties - I think they try to stock more unusual bottles or bottles that might not be available in nearby stores. There is a lot of thought put into the selection. The store is newer - remodeled not all that long ago - and is very clean. If I remember right there is some updating near the one door currently. Removing a self check out or adding one - I'm not sure. But they are improving this location and giving it attention. Some Safeways I've been to haven't had any love in 25 years still. Great hours - check yourself but 11:30pm and it was still open. There aren't that many stores that do that anymore. Alameda used to be open late - or even 24 hours? ? before the pandemic but no more. Big thanks to the police department and how this is a well run city. If all Safeways were like this one I don't think that I'd be so inclined to go out of my way to a WF as much as I do.”

“This post is overdue, I have been meaning to get on here and rave about my girl Beverly in the deli department!!! I came in last minute needing a sandwich platter for a work event thinking they had them premade. I guess they don't do those anymore and you have to order them at least a day ahead of time. I explained my situation to Beverly and she and her team created the sandwich platter in all of 20 minutes and really saved the day for me. She is awesome and Safeway in Dublin is lucky to have her. Thanks Beverly!”

“It's a great store for me to get some Lebanese bread and jute leaves. They seem to have all the spices we can't find in other stores. I love their fresh goat meat and lamb.”

“The supermarket is clean and has mostly everything you could need! It's spacious and they even have comp tea/chai while you're shopping. The chai is very sweet though, be warned. Parking is plenty!”
