“Compared to the East Pasadena and the West Covina locations, this store is smaller and thus has a smaller selection. They still manage to stock my favorite salads in the produce section. The shelves are well stocked and store displays always appear organized and clean. Shout out to the loss-prevention guy for thwarting a smash-and-grab robbery on the night of Jan 12. As the thief tried to escape, she punched the poor employee in the face but he took the punishment like a champ. Too bad Target employees aren't allowed to fight back when thieves turn violent.”
“City of duarte walmart always has people in it,parking in the front area of store is always taken, it's not fully stocked all the time the employees aren't always around to ask questions, but the store is okay, not great with customer service.”
“It's probably the cleanest Walmart I have ever shopped in!!! The staff are super friendly, super helpful, and always look happy... Not like some locations that look as if they are doing life sentences. LOL...The store is well organized, and stocking levels are usually better than most locations from Burban to Long Beach...I live in Glendale and would rather make the drive to Duarte just to shop at this store.. “A very nice selection on the shelves very reasonable lost leader items and overall name brands at much lower prices than other grocery stores and they have a magnificent wine selection because they actually have a sommelier that went and tasted all of the lines before he brought them into the store and they are also very reasonably and fairly priced”
