I had been looking for a transmission shop for awhile. I found their ad on Facebook and contacted them for a quote. I told them what transmission I had a got a quote which I agreed to. I drove the 45 minutes and dropped off my truck. The shop smelled strongly of Marijuana when I got there. I don't care if people do that, but I did have the concern they'd be working on my truck while smoling.They confirmed the price for the work. The next day they contacted me and stated they thought I had a different transmission and raised the price by $1000. I told them no thank you and I would try and pick it up the next day, however, I couldn't get a ride the next day. The morning after that, 1/2 way there to pick up my truck, I get a text asking if I was going to pick up the truck and advising me if I didn't pick it up I'd have to pay for storage.Seeing how it was costing me $60 in gas and my time to drop of and pick up of my truck it added to the frustration.I can't say how good their work is but I was very disappointed in the experience.

2 years ago I brought my f150 to this shop because the transmission cooler was dirty causing the transmission to overheat and not going into 3rd gear. I brought my truck here and they rebuilt the transmission. The owner was nice and we had a 1 year warranty on the rebuild. 4 months later we were going up in the mountains when the transmission slammed into third gear and a check engine light came on. We took it back to the shop and they had the truck for over 3 weeks witch took longer the The rebuild. After calling them multiple times they said it was ready and as I got my keys back they said "we put the torque converter in wrong". By the way my truck was super dirty when I got it back, even the inside had dirt and dust in it. My transmission is doing ok but still has minor issues, such as the transmission fault light coming on every time I drive uphill hauling a payload.

Absolute nightmare of an experience at Cordova Transmission in Dixon. They took my car for 2 and a half months and it was nearly impossible to get ahold of them the entire time. I virtually had no idea what was happening to my car 90% of the time which was incredibly concerning.I was told several dates that my car would be done and then would hear nothing from them. After like a week longer of waiting I would have to reach out and ask what the heck was going on with my car only to learn they were having issues. I have never been to a car shop that does not update you when something goes wrong!! It felt very shady and gave me no confidence in how professionally my car was getting treated. Then when I was finally told I could pick up my car they charged more than my dad and I had both agreed to and tried to convince me that was the number we initially agreed on. Further, they broke my tail lights and tried to say it was probably an issue my car had before even though it only started after they took it, so now I’m spending a few hundred more dollars taking it to another shop to have my lights fixed…they also broke my hood latch and when they came to fix it they used zip ties, so I’ll probably have to have it really fixed once the zip tie wears… Overall a terrible experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop.Service: Transmission

Very unprofessional coming from a females point of view. Definitely treated me like I wasn’t knowledgeable. Disrespectful and uncaring. Ruined my car in multiple places and wouldn’t take responsibility for it. I am very nice on my things so upsetting!! You take it to a professional for professionalism!! Not to mention my tire could have blew up and my safety was in concern. And my kids! Never will I go back, and if I could afford a lawyer I would sue for my money back and for them to fix the damage they did!!

They fixed my RAM. 2015 Diesel. from the transmission and I liked the service of the very friendly staff. Above all, they are very attentive. My transmission broke in Sacramento and I was able to tell them. They have a tow truck and they went immediately to pick it up. The service was great. above all very good price ... I recommend it.
