“This store has consistently provided me with pleasant experiences with its helpful and friendly employees. I usually visit during the week in the late afternoon after work, when it's not too crowded, and I appreciate the store's diverse selection of items. They offer self care products, pet food, a pharmacy, and a small deli. However, it's important to note that this is primarily a grocery store and does not carry clothing or household products typically found at Walmart. Despite this, the checkout lines are usually short, and there's even a self checkout option available.”

“I like going here as it has the option of getting some stuff by weight such as flour. I have a child who likes to bake so I'll fill a bag with the flour as it's cheaper than buying the prepackaged one.”

“They carry a lot of hard to find items from the UK, like Bangers, Black & White Pudding, Rashers, Flake Bars, Malteasers, Aero Bars, Mushy Peas ... enough to make my London-born wife feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It's located inside a big building (a former Hotel back in the early 1900s) called Villa del Sol, parking is around the back or on Wilshire Ave (Wilshire Ave may be blocked off at Harbor Blvd so you may need to turn a block early and come in from the west). They have a restaurant/bar associated with them that's pretty good, The Olde Ship, a few blocks north of them on Harbor Blvd.”

“I love this place. I can get nutritious meals for 4 people on a budget and only spend $50. There aren't a lot of people but that's how they keep prices so low. the people who are there are super helpful. I love the system of shopping carts being 25 cents because it means they are always where they are supposed to be and not in the parking lot.”

“The best kept secret in the grocery game! Employees here are incredibly kind and helpful, prices are amazing and there’s always fun stuff to find on the Isle of savings. Why would I go to Trader Joe’s when I can get exactly the same items at reduced prices?”

“It was a pretty small farmers market but it had a lot to offer. There was a tamale vendor on one end that had some of the best tamales I've ever had. Was told by a pepper vendor that there is a bakery that sells fresh bread for great prices. He warned us it sells out fast so if that's something you were interested in get there early.”

“Honestly I love this store. Have really good options and new finds with great tasting and affordable prices. Only two issues are this is not a one stop shop. You probably won't find everything you need here. Also, they are constantly rotating products. So if you find something you love it may not be there again the next week. Overall I still love coming here and trying new things! There are some flops but I think the good out weighs the bad.”

“Convenient location near by Walmart. Pretty decent Deli food price, but not all items. The Aldi brand foods offer a great deal, but outsider brands are smaller packages and less ounce. You are paying same price in smaller packages. It can be a good thing for a small family or singles. The food quality is good. I wish that larger selection might be more helpful.”

“Of all the local ALDI locations, THIS one is the largest and is the easiest to enter/exit.As at ALL ALDI's, plan on saving significantly but know that you may not find abetting you're looking for. When in doubt, don't hesitate to ask an employee -- they're all very helpful.”

“Good small grocery store, has most items needed at low prices. But they don't have everything needed such as some name brand item that may be your favorites.”

“Very good grocery store chain for all of your Asian grocery needs. Everything from oyster sauce (from a dozen brands) to fresh fish of all kinds (that they will cook for you in a variety of ways for free). This particular location seems to have more options than most. Tons of sauce options, rice options, and Kit Kat candy flavors not available in your typical grocery store.”

“Great store with my favorite german items. I cannot get enough.Store is always spotless clean. I always see employees working and stocking up shelves or produce. Great deals. Only thing that needs to be in store is a bigger selection of non - dairy ice cream. Kombucha drinks are amazing. Best time to go to Aldi's is in the morning”

“My go to Latin grocery store has to be Northgate Market. I’ve been shopping here for over a decade. You can find great prices, quality produce and meats. They have aguas frescas, a guacamole station, bakery and more. They go all out for the holidays and offer specialty meats, dried fruits, tamale husks, etc! Everyone there is always very friendly and helpful.”

“I go here a lot, only cause my dad likes it, but the fruit and avocados are terrible, shelf life 1 day. But the little restaurant in the back is really good. Maybe I'll change it to a 4.”

“We found this gem of a grocery store/indoor farmers market recently! They have everything! But! It gets real crowded on the random days that we went. Like all treasure hunts, you gotta do the work, swim through the crowd with your cart and hope you get the deals! If you're lucky, which is usually the case at this store, you can get fresh produce for a great bargain! Today, they had $.99 organic spring mix (24oz), avocados at 4 for $1 on sale, some fresh longans and jackfruits. They also have good priced Halal meats, international snacks, a bakery, a wide selection of dried fruits and nuts, kitchenware, etc. So, if you don't mind the crowd, busy parking lots and scary cart handlers who stops in the middle of aisles and wander around, ruining your shopping experience, ( I say this with love ), then check this place out.”

“I just wanna saw wow!!I usually come in one the weekends and there’s this employee that works there named Sebastian! He’s so courteous and really sweet!Every time I have a question- even if it’s just about my phone and not just shopping- he’s so quick to answer and give me a full depth response. He’s only a teen so I’m really surprised how amazing he is at his job!Every time I’m there he’s cleaning and helping customers (I definitely did not clean like him when I had my first job all those years ago ??)The remodel looks AMAZING as well and I believe they are making a pickup station soon ?!God Bless Y’all!?✝️?”

“In our area, there are numerous Asian markets. To distinguish between them, it's worth noting that 99 Ranch Market is essentially identical to 168 Market since they share the same ownership and management. Both stores offer a similar range of products, with 99 Ranch Market often featuring more Taiwanese items. Just a few blocks away, GW Market specializes in products from mainland China, offering items not typically found at 168 Market or 99 Ranch. For those looking to buy in bulk, Galleria Market is geared towards wholesalers, offering a wide selection of items in larger quantities but with a somewhat smaller variety.”

“Love the prices! I especially love the packaged salads. Cheaper than making a salad. Avocado bundle is the lowest price around. Also, if you're making a charcuterie tray, the cheese, salami and crackers are the best!!”
