I've mostly had good experiences at Wells Fargo, and have frequented locations across the country. Stopped here recently for a cashier's check. There was a line. Service was quick and professional. My teller even offered to fill my water bottle with water from the back, after I was told there was no fountain in the Safeway.

Went today and I asked for an emailed receipt on a simple transaction, the woman in their far right end said "the machine must not be working properly and it does that all the time". I can say I can't stand people lying to me--in my face. The reason I prefer email receipts it's because it requires less paper but more so because it's easier for me to keep track of my things via email. I have been to other branches where if they teller accidentally prints out paper receipt before confirming with me, they are still able to email me a copy. Lying and saying "oh it's the machine" is a poor excuse and worse she didn't offer to just email it again and I was forced to leave because I had an upcoming appointment. Even if I had asked her after I literally requested an email, it shouldn't take for me to ask more than twice, she should have simply taken initiative and be proactive I.e. simply emailing the receipt--it's not that difficult. To whomever her manager is, please know that laughing at lying about a simple email receipt like it's cute isn't cute at all--it's annoying, disrespectful, and unprofessional. If she wasn't sure how to email it again she could have just asked and if she knows she could have not been lazy and emailed it.

Such a terrible experience.I used to bank here under their Military Checking Account. I switched to USAA.I tend to get my laundry quarters from the bank here because I shop here. However, today was different.I was informed that I couldn't do this anymore since I was not an account holder. No biggie right? But do you have to try to belittle or dismiss a person over valid and reasonable request even though I am the only customer? I just dont get itWhy such a negative demeanor? Its not a surprise thos branch has such a low review. With representatives like this I am surprised Wells Fargo doesn't do sonething, because thos location is a horrible example of customer friendmy banking.I have never been so happy with my decision to switch banks

The manager Jennifer is extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. While we're stationed here in Monterey this will be our WF branch location of choice.

Lost my card and was told two customers were already being seen. And was asked to leave 25 minutes before the branches were closing. And then the person who asked us to leave took other customers instead. Said we would be next and decided once again to take other customers who arrived after us.

Both ATMs were out of 20s. The bank staff then said they were closed after I stood in line to wait for them. Not even a "sorry, we're closed", but just a simple "we're closed", with a smile, but no pretense of wanting to help. This is why banks loose customers

This bank will destroy any trust you may have left for financial institutions. I asked them to close my account and returned my debit card to them. The account was not closed and Wells Fargo continued to charge me ten bucks a month for an empty account, with no activity, that I had gone to great lengths to close. The have repeatedly cheated me, and even though I received a $700. settlement from them in June, I keep wishing that this bank, famous for its criminal activities, would be shut down for good!
