This dealership will scam you. Will give you a really good deal, make you come in to sign a paperwork, they will run your credit without even seeing the car or test drive it and in the end the car is not even in their possession. Oh! Also, they added $30 more to monthly payment of the car w/c doesn't make sense because i calculated everything and it didn't match. Another dealer gave me a quote with same exact numbers but less $30.

We are so grateful for the service we received here today! We bought a used Fit from Carvana. It was delivered with minor issues. After hours on the phone with Carvana and their service partners who had no solution for us, we gave up on them and drove it to Honda of Davis as a last hope. They were able to fix it for us in a matter of hours even though we had no appointment. Thank you thank you thank you! We definitely know where to take the car for any future service needs!

Very disappointed. We were told the vehicle we were interested in was already sold to someone. But we could get one in a week if we drove to the dealership (a 2 hour drive for us) and get the paperwork started on the next day.
That next day, while we were halfway there, the sales guy called my son’s cell and said he would pass him to his coworker as he was feeling under the weather.
Just so happens that the “ coworker” was the manager, who obviously already knew why we were there, told us they would not be getting what we were looking for at all and that it would be at least a month before the 2025 models, (that we didn’t want) would come in.
This is bad business, they should have told us on that phone call halfway there that we would be wasting our time coming for that car model, and honesty could have gone a lot further for them, and possibly even benefited them. We immediately left and bought a car that was worth more (an R model Toyota) that same day. Your loss our gain. My son would not say anything, but it was my mileage and my gas that was wasted.

This dealership was amazing we went to three prior to this one future Honda in Sacramento ( the worst, we had to return our car back) cap city Honda and Folsom lake Honda and they all couldn’t get us approved even after my brother had really good credit but the day we came here recommended by wife’s mom, we got approved my brother as co signer and my wife as first time buyer and I kid you not with one of the best interest rate out there we were so amazed and just blown away and now me and my wife have a great car and not just that my brother is offered a brand new car and with the lowest interest rate, I’m just great full by God and this team. Mario didn’t rejected us nor told us no like most sales rep like to do and ignore you, Mario was straight up to us and before you know it he came back with great news and we were just amazed because how come the other couldn’t it’s like they just put info and let the bank decide but not here they were on it. I recommend to see Mario (sales rep)

Very disappointing experience. Called ahead to request additional pictures and information about a vehicle to avoid any surprises after driving nearly an hour each way to hopefully buy the vehicle and avoid dragging my wife and kids on a wasted trip. The sales staff both were told I had to bring my family with me and knew it was a challenge to come in person.
No issues were called out by either of the two sales staff I spoke with. Upon arriving it was immediately obvious the car had first been in an accident so that it's front right fender was damaged. But, oh wait, the front bumper is damaged too! Even better, the door hinge welds had failed, but fortunately they could be repaired under recall that the dealer hasn't performed. The final and most dangerous issue was that one of the spark plug wires was so frayed I could see copper... Major safety issue. The fun part was I discovered the exposed copper in the middle of the sales guy telling me their technician inspected it and that the vehicle is certified to be safe.
I'd also share that upon arrival the sales guy immediately tried to pressure me by telling me about someone coming up from LA to buy it. Hopefully this review helps others like myself and the LA buyer not waste their time with dishonest sales staff and unqualified repair technicians.

Another dishonest dealership. Typical bait & switch. Bunch of crooks. Don't waste your time here.

If I could give 5 stars a hundred times for Pratap Chand Service Advisor# 767 who goes by the name Patrick at your Shottenkirk Honda of Davis it would be my pleasure to! We are from out of town, almost 450 away and had an unfortunate accident exiting the freeway into your town. The car was towed to your dealership. The following morning I was fortunate to meet Pratap Chand. Pratap knew our situation and took charge of making sure our car was safe to be back on the road again. We appreciate how kind and helpful Pratap Chand and your service technicians were. Pratap Chand is leadership material if it is his desire, your company should consider offering him a promotion. Pratap Chad would make a great addition to any companies leadership team! He definitely deserves a raise!
Thank you for everything Pratap Chand at Shottenkirk Honda of Davis!

I agreed on a price with the sales man, when I received the contract, it had an unknown $3600 charge tagged onto it.
Anjali Deol played the part of not knowing what was going on and when asked "Is that the tax, title and registration fee?" she said yes. I come to find out its a paint warranty and I couldn't get it removed because they "already" coated the car. I took the car to a shop and they said no coating was ever applied. AVOID ANGIE AND THIS DELEARSHIP-- I am sending a report to the BBB about you Angie and this dealership, complete fraud and sales team is full of snakes.

Horrible communication/ lies/ service ! The transmission need to be replaced it took almost two months which is understandable. When the transmission did come in I was told it’d take a week and i never received an update until almost a month later saying my car was ready. Patrick lied about the price and charged me over an extra $1000 than what he quoted me. No explanation said he wrote down his original quote but couldn’t even talk about it when I went in to pick up my vehicle. Patrick couldn’t even tell me or show me the date or original quote. Unacceptable.

We have a 2018 CRV (limited) that we bought at the Davis, CA Honda dealership. **UNSAFE** The hubs uses it for commuting to work as a firefighter. Before the vehicle was paid off; the fuel injectors went out, along with the radio. We did our part and replaced both parts at a dealership (4 years into owning a NEW car). Fast forward 49K on the replaced fuel injectors; the replaced fuel injectors go out again! Our 17 year old daughter was put in an UNSAFE situation driving to merge on the freeway and the 2018 Honda CRV LOST power. She was pushed off the freeway. Took the vehicle to Vacaville, CA Honda dealership for the loss of power diagnosis (AGAIN) and were told its the fuel injectors. (We took it to Vacaville, CA as a result of poor customer service at the Davis, CA Honda dealership). In addition, the AC is not blowing cool air. The dealership service person put in a (Good Will Request) with corporate, and corporate denied it. So, we are stuck with a comfortable, yet unsafe car that I wouldn't GIVE my worst enemy. From our viewpoint, HONDA supplies brand new cars along with parts and products of the lowest quality and doesn’t have concern for customer safety or satisfaction within the companies capacity of reasonable diligence.
We own (3) Toyota’s and have SAFE, reliable, and outstanding products with Toyota.
Bye (buy) a HONDA IF you want to be put in an unsafe situation, and/or go broke. I did call the Davis, CA Honda dealership and have YET to hear back from their GM to make this even semi "right". Go across the street and get a Toyota!!

WARNING BAIT AND SWITCH DEALERSHIP! I found a listing for a 2022 black edition in Sonic gray at this dealership which had no price listed. So I messaged the dealer for more info on Friday. I get a response right away from Sigi who says "Hello Michele ;
Good morning —-
This is SiGi from shottenkirk honda davis. What time can you come in today to take a look at the 2022 honda pilot black edition?
We have it available !
Reply STOP to cancel."
I respond back asking for pics and the price. He responds back with, "Yes I can do that for you . Price is $32,988
It’s a black edition model
With sonic gray color".
So, I thought wow what a deal. Checked Carfax and asked for more pics since there was nothing on their website yet. He sent a couple and said he'll send more since it was getting serviced and he would send more later. I told my husband and he agreed to go check it out over the weekend. On Saturday I texted Sigi that we plan on checking out the car and we're coming from Stockton (1 hour away)and asked if he had more pics. I specifically ask does the price still apply. He responds with "Good morning, I can get more photos for you no problem! and yes the price is still good to go."
Mind you he texted that it was for a "2022 black edition pilot in Sonic gray" twice!!!
So we make our way out there but he's not available and he asked Mandeep to assist which was fine. He could be working with someone else. Mandeep was kind, not pushy and pleasant to work with. Someone you hope to get when trying to purchase a car. After the test drive we told him what price we were quoted by Sigi by text and he tells us whatever he advised is what we should be offered. Looking at the website I believe Sigi is the Assistant Sales Manager. So he's probably thinking we'll he's the boss. We get to the financial process and the next guy comes in. This is after we already gave our SSN, demographics, employer, financial info. Which they neglected to give back to us so we can shred it. Rick proceeds to tell us whoops they made a mistake and the price we were quoted was supposed to be for a 2019 red Honda touring pilot. He said the actual price for the car we wanted was over $41,000!! Mind you our quoted price doesn't match what's on their website for their "red pilots". Sounds like a bait and switch tactic to me and sure did feel like it!! So he proceeded to try and offer us a new car with lower rates. We declined since it's not in our budget. If we wanted a new car we would have gone to our local 2 dealerships to find one. I told him how Sigi confirmed the price in the morning and he specifically said the type of car it was, but he wouldn't budge. So he goes back to see what he could do. We were ready to leave anyway because we knew they wouldn't come back with a close offer anyway. They offered a lower price but nothing near what was quoted with a high apr, over $700 monthly pmt and a $10k down.
This was theeeee worrrrrrrst experience at a dealership we've ever have!!! IF Sigi is the Assistant Sales Manager what a horrible job he is doing. He didn't even bother to take accountability for his mistake by apologizing to us personally for waisting our time traveling. He just left it up to his subordinates to pick up the pieces. Also while we were test driving the car as we passed by the dealership Mandeep points out how Sigi is the one riding the electric scooter around the parking lot. He doesn't seem to take his job seriously, is unprofessional and is a poor excuse for a leader. That's why it's shady..Who knows maybe this is their sales tactic to SCAM customers. I'm not buying their excuse. Whatever the reason, it was still a waste of time (about 4 hours) that we can never get back. I will be reporting your business to the BBB just for waisting our ti

I was in the market for a new Honda and most of the staff were rude and condescending with the exception of 1 person I spoke to who took the time to answer all my questions. I honestly felt humiliated trying to buy a car from this dealership, I initially wasn’t going to write a review but even long after my experience here I still feel so bothered where I feel the need to write a review much later. I had a much better experience the day after visiting this dealership at Capitol City Honda in Sacramento where the manager treated me with respect and no one was condescending and bought a new car from there the same day. The manager and everyone there was pleasant during negotiations which made buying the car less painful, and I bought the new car for a fair price.
I would recommend avoiding this dealership. After the fact, I spoke to a friend and he told me he also had a poor experience there, and so did his friend. I regret not asking him first before going.

Just another dishonest dealership. To the managers, don't bother responding to contact you, I already did, and you didn't bother to take accountability for what happened.
Sigi and Adrian are all that is wrong with dealerships and a good reason to go direct to manufacturer, hopefully someday. Stay away from these guys.
Sigi is horribly rude and disrespectful, but not until the deal is closed. Look at the other reviews, this guy's name is everywhere including yelp.
Adrian (salesman) is such a piece of work, what a terribly dishonest and horrible human. We came here with a baby and made it clear we needed to be quick. He started by lying about the car being available, and then followed up by lying about having it there in a few hours. It took 2 weeks to get our car after constant calls to follow up. The worst part, he took our agreed upon negotiation, switched up the numbers to the finance guy, knowing we were in a rush and would probably miss it. We sat for almost 2 hours waiting to sign papers, we signed and admittedly didn't check close enough, and he jacked up the sales price and warranty price and stuck things in we didn't agree to. Sad that grown men would take advantage of someone who is just trying to get their baby and kid home and fed.
Adrian, Sigi, you know what you did, and the fact that you can treat us like you did post sale speaks volumes to you.
In the end, at least they lost their finance bonus since we paid the car off immediately. Unfortunately, this just shows
how hard it is to find honest dealers, this isn't one of them, first and last Honda for this household. We should have walked out the minute Adrian started throwing red flags with his lies, or even cancelled when they failed to deliver our car after lying about delivery dates 5 times.

Purchased a 2025 Honda Pilot Black Edition.
Excellent dealership experience! Professional, transparent, and honest service from Vinny and Phillip. No pressure to buy unnecessary upgrades. Quick and efficient process - in and out in 30 minutes! Highly recommend.
