I tried Hanlee, as I had a recall issue. I was again disappointed. I was charged $215 for a diagnosis (that I had already outlined for them... even giving them part numbers).
I was told if I had brought the car in for recall 8 months earlier it would have been covered by the recall issue.... or 10,000 miles earlier (at 150,000 miles) it would have been covered by warrantee.
They told me they were very familiar with the brake issue- seeing it in a lot of older prius repairs.
Then they estimated $3700 to repair it.
Another repair service estimate about 1/2 that cost.

We lost a car key and Hanlee’s quickly scheduled an appointment to replace it. The paperwork and deposit were easily done. The scheduled repair took about 90min including the programming of our Rav4 H.

Paid $348 on 8-5-24 for spark plugs when all I wanted to do there was repair a radio volume control problem. This is not the first time for me at Hanlee’s. I feel overcharged for work not needed just about every visit.

I made an appointment on Monday for an oil change service on Wednesday at 10:00 am. I arrived on time and proceeded to wait for 2.5 hours before asking a service advisor for an update. He told me they were running behind and it would be another 30 minutes. I asked why should I make an appointment if it didn’t matter when the car would actually be worked on. The answer was “if you didn’t have one you wouldn’t have been served today at all. Finally after three hours my car was ready. In fairness they did reduce the price by $40.
