Dealt with an extremely rude associate who practically harassed me and treated me like I was some sort of criminal or thief while I was in the store. She ripped merchandise from my hands while I was browsing and when I went to go purchase it she was beyond cold, stuck up and rude. I’ve been shopping here for years and will absolutely never return. The store has completely gone down hill and is run by angry post menopausal drones who lack any sort of customer service etiquette.

At the end of December, we went into this lovely store before our dinner reservations and met with Norma - looking for sheets. She did not have pillow cases for the sheets and held the sheet set and said she would call to order the cases and would let us know when they came in. In the meantime we lost our son. Never got a message from her, so I ended up calling her and she admonished me that she left a message maybe even two and she never heard from us. I let her know that we lost our son and maybe in all the craziness her message was lost. She let us know that there was a sale on in January thru 1/31.She called us on 1/29 and said she would be working until 5 or then call her on 1/31. Called her today and she said the sale was over. Her words " sound like the stars are not aligned for you". So I am left with feeling that the stars are not aligned because we lost our son or because we missed the sale....pretty pathetic attitude...

I shopped there for years and was oblivious of how they viewed me. I brought many gifts there and goodies for myself. Today was unbelievable. I looked at a ring and felt the owner eyeing me. The ring disappeared and it was now on the other sales person hand. I made a decision to buy something else but had to wait while she helped another customer. The owner ignored me and finally another sales lady showed up. She asked if I needed help as I waited. I am a minority. Was that the reason???

I decided to pop into Misto Lino today and check out their linens. To my surprise, I was very happy with the selection and price. Kathy was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to helping me select my sheet set. I also ended up purchasing a beautiful linen kitchen towel from Italy and placemats. This was a well deserved treat to myself! The store is full of beautiful one-of-a-kind gifts in addition to their fabulous linen selection. I had a wonderful experience with Kathy and Tamera and cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful experience at Misto Lino in Danville. Kathy was very friendly and knowledgeable about the duvet covers we were interested in. They had to custom make the duvet we wanted in Italy, but instead of a 6-8 week delivery time, it arrived within 4 weeks. The quality is very good and it's beautiful. My second choice of a lovely linen duvet is now on display in the store. Delicate fabrics with beautiful pattern choices, a bit pricey, but I think worth it in the long run.

I love this store and the staff. I was greated with appreciation and felt welcome. The quality of merchandise is exemplary. I was comfortable walking around to see what they have to offer. The staff was helpful. I look forward to returning to see more next time I am in Danville.

Love the store and staff! I went in looking for a baby gift and they had so many great items to choose from and were helpful in finding just what I needed. It was nice that they started wrapping the gifts as I continued to look around the store. They have wonderful things for the home and I'll have to go back when I am shopping for myself.

I've given this store so many chances over the last 7+ years but they consistently ignore me. I'm a minority (surprise surprise) and yes Danville isn't known for its diversity but come on! The last visit was it for me. I sent them a message on Instagram explaining how I felt and I wanted to provide this feedback even if it meant it didn't matter to them. Well guess what? It didn't matter (surprise surprise). Since my message to them, they have posted 3 times and don't tell me they get too many DMs to respond to. Not once have their approached me to greet me, offer help. And to the other white patrons? Full service. If I don't make a purchase, it's like I was never in the store. The difference in service is quite literally night and day. To top it off when I was rung up the other day, the old lady (because it's just a bunch of old white women pretending to work while gossiping together) told me to "to be patient" in a condescending tone when I politely said my Apple Pay hadn't yet finished as she urgently said it was done. In a time where small businesses need to be supported and I want to do all I can for them, they surely know how to show they don't care for my business.

This store had great service a few years back, but now it is absolutely horrible. No greeting when I walked in, no assistance offered while I was browsing, nor was there any kindness or pleasantries while I paid for my purchase. There were at least 3 associates who acted bothered by my very presence. I have spent a lot of money in the store in the past but will purchase my items online moving forward. Sadly, because I like to support local businesses but this one is not worthy. They need to get it together, the “1980s” attitude they have just doesn’t work in this day and age.
