We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Hayley. From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put us at ease. Hayley and her staff are incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure each child feels safe, loved, and engaged.
Our son thrived in this nurturing environment. The variety of activities and learning opportunities provided was exactly what my son needed. From creative arts and crafts to interactive story times and outdoor play, there’s always something exciting happening.
Communication with the daycare was excellent. Hayley is very approachable and always quick to give honest feedback. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about each child’s well-being and development.
We are grateful to have found such a wonderful daycare that feels like an extension of our family. Thank you Dragon Daycare for creating a loving and enriching environment for our son. We highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, supportive, and stimulating place for their child.

This daycare was just what we needed! We toured a bunch of places in the area and felt so at home at Dragon Baby! Hayley is an incredible caregiver and has really great intuition with kids. We are first time parents and this was our first kid in daycare (starting at 7 months old in early 2022), so we were nervous and had a lot of questions. Hayley made us feel at ease and walked us through what to expect. We also love that it is multilingual (English & Chinese). After a few days our son always had a big smile when we dropped him off. There is both an indoor and outdoor play area, plenty of toys, and areas for napping. The space is very clean and sufficiently baby-proofed. Parenting is already hard enough, so worrying about the quality of care when handing our baby off was something we weren’t sure how to handle. I really can’t speak highly enough of this place! We get picture/video updates throughout the day, a care-log at pickup that contains the schedule with naps/feed times, and Hayley is very responsive whenever we reach out. I would highly recommend, it’s been a lifesaver.

BEAUTIFUL ART OF CANDY! DELICIOUS...I hope they can reopen. Was in a cool Deco building & thru the front window you could watch them create the silk like threads & you could pick your desired fillings. So amazing to watch & then yummmy & delicate to eat. So sad...curses COVID-19.

Dragon Papa makes dragon beard candy and other snacks reminiscent of the kind of sweet treats you might get from vendors at a street market. I'm not sure how they're doing regular business right now, but they had a stand at the Ferry Building Farmer's Market on Saturday where I was able to pick up a box for myself. The owners were super friendly and told us all about their multi-generational family business, how they make the candy, and their entire backstory which was super interesting. They candy itself is pretty pricey (I think it was $13 for a box of 8 pieces), but given how labor intensive it is to make (he told me they could make only make up to 7 boxes in one hour) and how delicious they are (we easily finished the whole box in a day), I'd say it's not unreasonable. Each piece is made up of hundreds of threads of pulled sugar wrapped around a filling made of ground coconut, peanut, and sesame. They're not too sweet and a bit messy (but really fun) to eat. It's definitely a unique treat that you have to try for yourself!

This is a dessert I haven't had since I was in college so I was so happy to see that they had set up a pop up stand in the Ferry Building. It's almost as much fun to see them make this dessert as it is to eat it. When I stopped by they only had the original flavor available. The dragon beard is made of pulled sugar wrapped around a filling of peanuts, sesame seeds and coconut. The sugar is whispy and the "beard" and presents a very subtle sweetness. It melts on your tongues ever so gently. The filling is a nice contrast texturally and flavor-wise. The candy lasts for a while if stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator. However, this is such a fun and tasty dessert, will it really need to be stored for a long time? Yes, it's a bit pricey for this candy but considering how much manual labor goes into making the "beard", I would say it's worth it. They also offer the candy in a variety of flavors (fruit, coffee, green tea, etc.), which I hope to try when things return to normal.

A must try!!! The first time I ever saw this candy being made was at the street food market in Seoul. The technique is quite entertaining, and the candy is unique and delicious. Impossibly thin threads of sugar are spun around a crumbly filling of crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, and coconut. It's hard to describe, so you need to just try it for yourself! The end result looks like a cocoon. They currently have a pop up at the Ferry Building on Farmers Market Saturdays, through the end of March. I hope they extended the special run. Flavors offered today were original, matcha, strawberry, and coffee. You can't go wrong with any of them!

I love the handmade desserts!!! They are so tasty and memorable! I was really sad when I went to shop to see nothing inside!!! This was all due to COVID and all the restrictions and the fear of going into Chinatown! But I was thrilled when I called and no answer but I got a call back!!! You can order ONLY on the phone or through UBER eats! See the pics that I'm including in my post so you know how to order and how deliver is happening!

Awesome experience! I wouldn't say this candy is so delicious I'd have to have more of it but it is good! it's an EXPERIENCE, a fun experience. It's messy so I recommend eating outside. We are taking some back home to Hawaii as gifts. They travel well and you can refrigerate for longer keep. We ordered 4 boxes (8) in each The customer service was great. And these are hand crafted. Covid: So the actual store/location (752 Grant Ave) is closed right now however there is a number you can call to either pick up or they will deliver depending on your order size and your location. +1 (415) 539-7728

I had always been a huge fan of dragon beard candy. It's a traditional dessert that I grew up seeing in night markets in Taiwan, and I had made it a point to always buy and support the people making it when I see it in the states since the making of the candy is very time and labor consuming. This place has got to be the best I've had in the US, it's fresh and soft and it doesn't stick on your teeth. They are also very innovative with the flavors. We tried the coffee and it was a perfect balance of sweetness. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Probably only one of the few places you can get the Dragon Breard candy. Quite a bit of labor to make it. A little expensive but a nice treat once in awhile.

Love love the fact we still have something so traditional in the Bay Area. A master who can still make dragon beard candy. It melts in your mouth and flavor of the filling was just perfect. Although, good it's a little pricey for a small box with such small pieces. I think it's the work of art and labor to create such delicious candy. We introduced it to our children and they are just as fascinated as I am when I first learned of dragon beard candy.

Dragon Beard candy...something I'd never heard of but wanted to learn about the moment I came across this shop. Visiting Chinatown in San Francisco is always a magical moment. The lanterns hanging in the middle of the big street, the busy family businesses selling pork buns, sweet buns, dumplings, noodles, and all that good street food...intricate tea shops with specialty imported teas from outside the country that retail for hundreds of dollars...and the list goes on. It's always a treat here and it was even more of a memorable visit when I saw the window at the front of Dragon Pappa Dessert of the woman tirelessly stretching out what looked like dough. Walking in to the store and being kindly greeted by the owner whose name I didn't catch, he gave me a little history lesson on dragon beard candy. A traditional Chinese candy that used to be a specialty for the royal family, the ingredients consist of a mixture of cornstarch and syrup that are supposed to be stretched out hundreds of times before the strands are as fine (or even finer) than hairs. Then, they can be sandwiched with peanuts or other fillings before being folded into a cushiony piece of candy and stuffed in a box. It turns out that the woman preparing the candy at the window was the owner's aunt. The owner also informed me that only three families in China remain today who know how to make this candy the authentic way. It's amazing! I had to try it. One thing that is recommended is to not place the whole candy in your mouth. I followed directions and just took a small bite in the beginning so as not to allow the powdery effect choke me. I soon realized that the strand-like dough melted in my mouth. Another bite got me into the peanuts portion which melted with the dough and made it taste like some toffee nut fusion of flavors. It was so interesting and definitely worth the try. I appreciate the fact that other fruity and matcha flavors were offered at this store. I also loved the historic introduction that really made a great selling point. I love learning about the origin of different types of food, and enjoy it even more if I know I am supporting a family business who works tirelessly in preserving a long-time Chinese tradition. Definitely recommended for tourists to visit this shop!

Eating dragon beards is truly an experience. Located in the heart of Chinatown, you can't miss this spot. A huge window with a person gloved up and dressed in all white and spinning this soft stringy dough-like substance. As he/she spins around this dough, the strings goes around wrapping around his/her hand. It's like weaving cotton candy around or like a cocoon dessert. It's unique! As we walk into the shop, it's empty with only a small board with the prices, a few boxes on the counter top, and the two employees on their phones. It's like walking into a Eastern medicine/tea herb store in Chinatown where it's 'blackmarket'. The store could be more presentable with color and seats for people to eat. I ended up buying a strawberry and original mix which is the most popular. Dragon Beards are small delicate pastries with crushed nuts and just the stringy layer wrapped around it. It's like eating a mochi in a way but with texture. It was delicious and addicting. The pastry is so delicate that it can break with one bite so I recommend being careful and placing a hand under your mouth as you take your first bite. I'm glad this is here because it makes Chinatown unique with it's Hong Kong treat stand. It's $12 for a box of 8 pieces which is worth it because of the flavor and intensive labor to weave this treat.

The old man selling these hard working dessert is so sweet. Although I was really hoping to see him pulling the candy in the front window, i came buy and got the half original and half mango filled with sesame. It was $11. It was my first time having this although seeing so many videos of how it's made gave me interest. Let's just say, when you eat this, just put the whole thing in your mouth and chew with your mouth close unless you want to make a big mess LOL .
