“This Macy's location has lots of parking, it is easy to get to because it is right off the freeway. There are always sales going on, so it is pretty easy to find what you're looking for at a reasonable price. There are two floors in this department store. My favorite section is on the second floor and it's called "Backstage" and that's where all the discounted items are. I recommend checking it out because there is always something new for such good prices. The downside to this store is sometimes they seem understaffed maybe, because I have had numerous issues with trying to find someone to help me if I have questions. And there aren't a lots of cashiers open. Buy if you go on a slow day, you can be in and out in a reasonable amount of time.”

“After visiting this store twice this week I've noticed the men's section is very small and unorganized. Very messy in a few departments with long lines and not any cashiers. As frustrating it is in waiting in line, the checkout process is very smooth. Cashiers are all friendly and very helpful with the interaction (only if they picked up the pace of checkout). I came in to purchase some gifts and the tall manager with the beard at the front was very helpful explaining the purple tag policy and helping me pick a perfume from the box. Same customer service with the other shorter Filipino manager she also was friendly showing me around the jewelry cases and picking out a beautiful gold necklace! Only improvement I could see is speeding up the checkout but worth the wait!”

“This place has been great for me. For the last two years I have gone in here about 3 times a week, mostly for small groceries, but regularly go upstairs to get other items. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences every single time. It appears the staff are trained to realize what the word "customer" means (or at least not act hostile towards people coming in), and still remember that simple politeness goes a long way. To all the workers, and managers, we semi-regular customers really do notice, and appreciate, your fair attitudes. Believe me, we notice.”

“I like this MACY'S a lot. The jewelry department is excellent. I buy jewelry here almost exclusively. They have pay-over-time with a MACY'S card and Jewelry Repair ‍ Plans, which I highly recommend. If you gain and lose weight a lot, the jewelry repair plan allows you to get your rings sized for free. Most of the staff there in jewelry are really nice and helpful, but it is sometimes understaffed and you might have to wait a little to get assistance with your purchases. But when the associates are helping you, they focus on you, not on trying to do a bunch of things at once, or helping a bunch of people at once, which is refreshing. Whenever I've had a return or an exchange or need my jewelry serviced, they are always helpful, including the department manager, he's a good guy.The candy section is undersized and could use some improvement, especially their nearly non-existent Godiva section. If you want a Godiva selection, hit the MACY'S in San Mateo, they have a lot of good selections over there. The makeup departments there are great, I got one of them to do my wedding makeup . This was a few years' back, but if you buy some makeup, it's free.My only other grouse is that sometimes later in the evening, before closing, there is not enough staff to go around, really. Also, for you jewelry fans like myself, be aware that the Jewelry Department closes 1 hour before the store does.”

“Burlington has an amazing collection of clothes for men and women and kids. The store employees are really sweet and helpful. I found many jackets and shirts and hoodies for men that were very comfortable and decently priced. The queue for billing was not a lot when I went. Good clothes and good prices!”

“Target is good when looking for items like electronics, food, or clothes. But sometimes it may sell out and you can order it online and have it shipped to your place or to the store. They are pretty good on that. Also, they are pretty good on price matching a particular item cause I have done it in the past.”
