Just don't do their Drive up and Go grocery pickup. Every time I try one, it's a nightmare trying to pick it up. I don't think the app notifies them when you're there to get the order. They never bring it out. I have to call the store repeatedly or go inside to get my order... by then I could've just gone and shopped myself. It absolutely doesn't save any time. The last time I had my dog with me so I couldn't go in and I had to flag down an employee in the parking lot to get my order because no one answered the phone in any of the departments. I tried them all. They ring and hold for a while and then hang up.

UL in the self checkout line saw I was in and hurry and helped check me out quickly. He noticed I needed help I didn't ask. Top notch customer service!

I'm so disappointed that their bakery sucks. Safeway is the easiest to go for cakes but it's definitely bad quality and their designs are horrible also they're always OUT OF TOYS for the cake.. Sadly this is the closest Safeway for me

This is for only the Chinese food at the deli. The deli manager is ripping people off. He's giving people the mini family meal for the price of the regular one. When I brought it to his attention, he first claimed he misheard my order, then he claimed he gave me the regular meal, although the portions were clearly for the mini. Talked to customer service and they were not helpful either.

I've been shopping at this store my entire life and I've always had a pleasant shopping experience. Today I received exceptional above and beyond customer service from employees. I asked about an item I couldn't seem to find for the life of me. Not one, but two different people took the time to not only find it for me but also let me continue with my shopping while they tracked it down. Thank you Nelson and Omar for all your help!

I was checking out today and there was a line. The cashier (Tra) was talking to the people in front of me and after they finished checking out and leaving already. Tra continue talking to them leaving to whole line waiting. So I asked her can she finished checking out because I had to get to work but she had a really bad attitude and said I'm already helping you. This was the second time I saw her, the first time she also had a really bad attitude didn't say Hello or thank you and threw me the stuff I bought. But she was really nice to the people in front is it because I'm Asian? :)

Michael and Virginia are the star employees here as well as the new manager Zach . But I've been shopping at this store for 20+ years. It was unacceptable for their employee to scream at me when I was just talking to their employee . This happened tonight when I was just talking to a specific employee and he verbally harass me each time . But tonight he specifically yelled at me since I was the only shopper at that time. He kept screaming and yelling at me not acceptable behavior from a male employee to a female customer . He's always been very rude and creates a toxic shopping experience that his supervisors should be aware of. He needs anger management tools and not to work in the customer service arena and screaming at customers who shopped at this store . This employee should be on probation for his toxic anger issues or whatever causes him to often scream at a loyal customer . What's wrong with him?!?! His management should be aware of his mental issues or anger issues. Since he's bigger and more violent I'm deeply scared for my safety due to his constant harassment or other MENTal ISSUes or other violent issues that his supervisor should be aware of. . He should not work that late screaming at a female customer who shops here . It's not the first time he's been verbally harassing me each time I shopped here , unacceptable behavior for a employee working at a customer service sector . This is a pre warning for many late night female shoppers here . He's scary and will scream at you , it's not the best shopping environment from a customer who shops here often late at night . This is not acceptable behavior for a employee who had a supervisor title and thinks it's appropriate to yell and scream at a customer . What's wrong with him?!?!

I had an excellent customer service experience with Carla last week. I realized after looking at my receipt that there were two discounts shown in the mobile app that I didn't receive. Carla patiently helped me and promptly refunded the difference for both items. Thank you, Carla!

This Safeway has gone from bad, to horrible to completely incompetent. I regularly receive cutting, embarrassingly terrible customer service from Carla and others. I wonder how she and some of these people have a job. Oh I know! They are the only people willing to work for this crap store. I literally go to any other safetway and have what feels a delightful experience. Don't go to the one on homestead and forge if you do not have to, the problems range from incompetence to sexual harassment, inattentive cashiers overcharging, ignoring customers and often being out of stock on items I consider Key. Terrible was last year, when I stopped going to Safeway all together because I decided to file a complaint with Safeway after local management did nothing. Yelp it is! Skip this shop! You have many choices in this area, don't waste your time.

We placed an order for delivery today before noon, around 5 pm we received an email that the order had been completed and was out for delivery, which was due by 7 pm. I waited until 7:40 pm but I wake up early so I just called to see if it could still be switched to pick up or was the delivery already out. The gentlemen who answered the phone, whose name was Sergio, stated to me "well you did this.. so I don't know... before trailing off... and me then stopping him and promptly ended the call as a paying customer I do not have to be spoken to that way and I will not tolerate it. I am not sure what his intention was or what he felt could be gained by approaching this situation with rudeness.. but it was rude and completely uncalled for. This store is next to my house but I will just drive a little further and go somewhere else.

It's amazing to have a deli Employee (JAMES) at the sandwich bar that has great customer service and that makes awesome sandwiches he deserves a raise he was very kind very professional very patient with me until the end he is very friendly thank you to him and will be coming here to order my food. Thank you:)

I love how organized and clean this location is, but too many times I have showed up and an item they usually carry is no longer there. For the most part their employees are nice and helpful, but it is hard to get somebody to help you at the customer service desk. This place is close to my home and has almost everything I need. I think the location is great and it will always be my go to place when I need to get something. Don't forget, if an item is out and there was a sale, you can ask them to give you a rain check to use for another time.
