This is by far one of the best places I have been to with my car. I always get mechanics trying to scam me because I'm a female but not here. Great work, wonderful people, and they even try to help save me money. They don't do work they don't stand behind. If you need car work done come here! You won't regret it! The owners are the best people are, so sweet and caring. They definitely treat you like family and my car runs great!

I am really glad I took my car in to De Anza Auto Repair, they are really thorough, they gave explanations of why my car needed certain services and had photos to show why something was needed. They provide excellent customer service here, highly recommend!

Well they must doing well, because I got treated poorly. First Mo, Mohamed, name is no good he's crafty and starts his relationship with a fake name. Mo. He's acting as mgr, he's not the owner so make sure you go after the correct person. The owner.April Kathryn Woods is the owner. Mo was such the nicest sales man. Then morphs into a nightmare, he literally told me I got your car now, insinuating that he's got me by the balls now.after I commented to towing it there. I told Mo my dads very old and not doing well, please fix ASAP. So I contacted him to put another working engine in a 65 classic. He does this but keeps the new carburetor from the other engine. He keeps the new carburetor because it wasn't stipulated that he had to remove the new carburetor and put it into the engine he put into 65 classic. After a year of excuses my dad dies. I m feed up of his excuses so I demand the car back or I ll write a negative review. He keeps the car threatening with a lean sale, then arrange a a notary for me to sign before he will release the car to me. He forced me to sign that I will not write a negative review or sue him as the family classic car as hostage. Mo is the shadiest shifty eyed guy I ever had the misfortune to run into. I recon I was fooled by all those great reviews. Soon as our relationship went sour he pulls car out of the building and right two major storms. So the classic is a 65 convertible with a torn roof, I got the car back soaked minus a carburetor. This guy had me sign a contract under duress. That's this place that's my 100% truth and experience. I rather write nice reviews.

This shop used to be good now undercthe Owner April and her husband MO acting manager they have become a ripp off , over charging customers, charging for work never done .. using shoddy overpriced parts and then no completing warranty work in a timely fashion.. multiple complaints filed with California Bureau of Automotive repair

Don't waste your time in this place. You will suffer from miscommunication, wrong ETAs, and finally a high repair cost.I sent my car to fix rodent damage. The manager did not mention that the car is worth totaling. Instead, 7 months were wasted with infinite waiting time.Some examples of my experience:- Initial inspection took 5 days!- Just sending information to the insurance adjuster took one month! Instead of them apologizing for the delay, they bragged about their good work.- You have to call them multiple times and their usual response is that they will call you back but almost 99% of time, they won't.- I saw many cases of other customers complaining about bad service- There is a lack of transparency: I asked why a long wait. They said because of a lack of supplies. I asked where they ordered the parts. Toyota Sunnyvale. I called Toyota Sunnyvale and they denied any orders from them. I got back to them and they said, yeah maybe some other Toyota! I asked them why not total loss the car. They said it because it is less than 80% of the car price. Finally, I saw a bill that was 120% of the car price!- After 6 months, when I got back my car, many things were wrong. The manager told me there will be a delay in getting the car back because they want to do final testing. The sad fact is that after all those final tests, I got a car with 1 clear OBD error (yes! I did not trust them and tested the car with my own OBD). After two weeks of waiting for them to call back and fix the minor issues, I had to call them and go to the shop, and even then they said it is not ready while the car was there ready to pick up. The guy just did not have the patience to check the car.- Expect to be on hold over the phone for 20+ minutes because sometimes they just prefer you to wait until you give up.

Ive been here a few times for various repairs. Honest, hard working staff and affordable prices. They tend to be busy and underestimate how long they'll need your car so I'd recommend seeing them at a time you won't need your car for atleast a day or two.

I came here to get my headlights repaired, and from the very beginning April and the rest of the team were extremely friendly and transparent, and throughout the process they walked me through what they had found and what all the different potential options were. My repairs ended up being quite complicated, due to some custom work that I had previously had done on my car, but they were very quick to diagnose each issue and propose solutions. The pricing was also very fair/transparent, and they didn't try to add in any questionable charges or anything like that. I had a really great experience here and will definitely be back the next time I need any work done on my car!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The best place for my vintage MustangI can't even begin to tell you how much I love De Anza Auto Repair. From the moment I showed up with my vintage Mustang, I just knew I was in good hands. Mo and April, the owners, along with their team, really went above and beyond to make sure I got the best possible service and honest advice.My Mustang had been breaking down all the time, and my wife thought it was nothing but a piece of junk. I used to take it to another shop that would charge me a fortune, only for it to break down again within two weeks. That's when I decided to give De Anza Auto Repair a try. I'd heard good things about them, and their packed parking lot seemed like a pretty good sign.Once they had a look at my car, they didn't just find one issue but a whole bunch of problems. And even though I don't know much about cars, they took the time to walk me through everything, explaining which repairs were really important and which ones I could take or leave. They were super supportive and didn't try to push me into anything.Now, when I got my car back and it broke down again, I thought, "Oh no, not this again." But Mo, the owner, stepped up and made things right. They found out that the carburetor needed to be rebuilt, which would have cost me $2,000. This was a separate issue and not something they did, but they didn't charge me a dime since I'd "already paid a lot for the other repairs." I couldn't believe how kind they were.And you know what else? They even gave me a Honda Accord to use while my Mustang was in the shop, all because I mentioned my wife was racking up Uber bills.They treated my wife and I like we were old friends. It made me feel safe and welcome, and I knew right away that Mo and April were good people I could trust with my car and my wallet.So, if you need auto repairs and you want a place that'll treat you like family, you've got to check out De Anza Auto Repair. They're the real deal.And the best part? The mustang is running like a champ again.

Mo and team delivered and not only got my car quickly diagnosed and running back to top performance, they also helped install an intercooler I bought so I can get cooler air inlet temps heading into the summer!Services: Exhaust

Mo and his wife run a great business. We were looking at buying a car from a private party in the area, so we had De Anza do a safety inspection. Thanks to their inspection, we found multiple issues with the car that the owners hadn’t disclosed to us. De Anza fit us in right away and we could see updates on the progress of their inspection throughout. I really appreciated their honesty and communication!

During the most recent wind storm, the rain cover I'd been using to protect from the rain caught on both my front & back license plates. The back had ripped off completely and the front was hanging on by a thread. I was running an errand in the neighborhood and saw De Anza's and stopped by without an appointment. They took care of it immediately for a super reasonable price. They were friendly and conscientious and made sure to get my approval before doing anything. It can be really hard to find good auto repair shops. I was so happy to find De Anza. They really keep it real with their customers. When you get your inspection done you can expect a comprehensive report about the vehicle with pictures of everything they are claiming. This along with a pricing map of exactly how much each service will cost and why. They had a long conversation with me about what my car would need and wouldn't need and we're sure to explain why they recommended certain things and what would happen if I either didn't get the service or pushed it off. This way I could make an informed decision. They are super nice and a fair family business.I will keep recommending them to friends and family as this kind of service is hard to come by.They deserve your business.
