“Experience: I came to this market because I wanted to make a bolillo sandwich with carne asada and I was working at a site only 3 minutes down the street. I took the opportunity to get some fresh bread from the bakery and meat from the butcher, instead of the regular grocery market I generally go to. I arrived a little before 3pm on a weekday, it was pretty busy. The butcher had a line of about 10 people in front of me, and most aisles had a line for checkout. Regardless, I love walking through cultural markets. The music, produce, ingredients, people, languages, it's such an experience unique to LA, a diverse city indeed.Supplies: Although I didn't browse every aisle, I feel the store was well equipped with the things I generally see at a Mexican market. I just so happen to go when a fresh hot batch of bolillo bread was placed in the bins. There was steam all around the bin. The bread was so soft, warm on the inside, it was perfect for my sandwich. The butcher selection was okay. I don't remember seeing lengua, cow tongue, and some other cuts, but they did have carne asada, marinated and non marinated. It was fresh, well cut, and once I seasoned and cooked it, came out really juicy. Parking: They do have a decent sized lot right off of Olympic. Only down side is if you are there after 3pm, it may get a little tricky getting onto Olympic because of traffic. Verdict: I wouldn't go here to shop for my regular groceries as I feel it's too expensive, but I would absolutely come back for the meat, bread, and any specific Mexican ingredients that I need.”

“We love the Co-op. Our family stumbled across the Co-op in Santa Monica several years ago. We became members more than a decade ago. We were happy when the company expanded and opened a new store near our home. I love giving co-workers and neighbors gift cards for the Co-op. Check out the Co-op in Culver City or Santa Monica if you want organic healthy foods at reasonable prices.”

“Victor helped me at the smoothie station- he was SO insightful, PATIENT (there were some demanding customers), & so pleasant. He is very efficient at his job—- & made the modifications I requested happen. This location can be a bit chaotic, but he’s a breath of fresh air when you get to the counter!”

“My Mother comes here to conduct business for Western Union. This store is always so busy BUT the employees are always always attentive! And the store is always soo lovely. My mother waited for about a good 10 minutes to be assisted...lo and behold JOEY, the store's SUPERVISOR was such a gem. Although very busy he was aware of everything that was going on in the store. Yet he was so very patient, kind and caring towards my Mother AND ATTENTIVE. And he's only 28!! For a man soo young he sure is mature....I see him moving to the top! He's what I call an old fashioned customer service oriented individual. Thanks Joey for being soo sweet towards my Mom. I appreciate you! You mad a world of difference and we're definitely worth the wait!”

“Super fun place to shop at, you guessed it, hi and lo price points. And the staff is a perfect combination of helpful and hands-off. And beyond the booze, there's tons of other fun stuff to browse/discover. My advice, if you want to discover new finds but don't want to shop at the high end of the spectrum, is to ask for the best bang for the buck within the category you're shopping.”

“This was my first time going to sprouts and it was a great experience. I work on the road a lot so I stopped by for lunch and to use the restroom. I got a big sandwich for 5.99 and the restrooms were very clean. The staff was really nice and even went above and beyond to make my experience better. I didn’t get the employees name but he was very helpful.”

“This Ralphs is a neighborhood gem! It's enormous, offering a selection that outshines other nearby stores. Plus, the staff here are real lifesavers. Lost my phone and they went the extra mile to help me find it. Best store in the area, hands down!”

“I'm not sure why they get comments about the clerks not being friendly, maybe saying hello and engaging them would get a better responseEverytime we get a new clerk, I get to know them before passing judgement. Paul (the owner) was one of the first people my husband introduced me to when we first started dating, and one of the first we showed the ring too when we got engaged. I guess you get out of people what you put out to people <3 love you guys!”

“Ralph's store sets the bar high for excellence. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a clean and well-organized space that makes shopping a pleasure. The variety of products available is impressive, and the prices are reasonable. The store's commitment to sustainability is evident in its eco-friendly practices, such as using biodegradable bags and supporting local farmers. A great place to support and shop!”

“I'm writing this review because Stanton is THE cheese man. I live within walking distance from another Ralphs, but ever since I stopped by this one because mine was out of an ingredient it's become my preferred location. It has better inventory across the board, a cheese guru in the dairy dept and kind folks creating a nice environment at the checkout counters. Stanton does a great job curating a varied selection of cheeses and accompaniments and I always end up leaving with 2-3 more jams, spreads, cheeses or crackers than I mean to and I NEVER regret it! I hesitate to write this because I don't want anyone eating up all the good cheese, but I've gotta give props for great service. My only complaint is they may need more stockist - often the shelf label will say "out of stock" even if the item IS on the shelves which can make it hard to determine what the price is. The produce dept is also pretty popular but there's usually always someone trying to replenish the shelves so you can do a lap and come back for what was missing.”
