The Creston House is a warm and welcoming oasis. It is the hub of the larger ranching and farming community surrounding Creston. There is seating outside where you can relax and watch the world go by. I ordered a plain cheese pizza, which was quite tasty, cooked to perfection, and had the correct ratio of crust to sauce to cheese. While I waited for my pizza, I enjoyed a few scoops of vanilla ice cream soaked in espresso - an "affogato"? "Arrogato"? I'm not sure, but it's amazing. The Creston House is bicycle friendly, and they prefer cash.

If you read through reviews pre-2022, take note: this store has undergone several ownership changes, and the current owners are doing an amazing job. They're working hard to figure out what customers and the community not only WANT but actually SUPPORT through their purchases.This is a convenient stop for quick-grab sandwiches, salads, breakfast burritos, beverages and snacks. They also offer made-to-order items including sandwiches and fresh pizzas, espresso and other hot drinks, as well as made-to-order, hand-scooped milkshakes.The back cooler offers a limited selection of fresh grocery items which may vary depending upon the season and customer demand. Look back there for the butter you forgot to grab in town, or that onion you though you had on hand and don't want to drive clear to the city to pick up before lighting the BBQ.A fun selection of gift items, boutique food items and locale fare are also on hand as well as local knowledge. If you're looking for the hub of information and essential food items, this is your stop.

We are so lucky to have this jewel in our little town. They have most everything you might need. Nice people behind the counter. Beer, wine, ice, canned goods, fresh veg, deli sandwiches, breakfast burritos, great coffee and excellent cookies. Now pizza! Why leave town!

If you are from out of town and want the PERFECT place to grab some lunch or snacks for wine tasting or even if you are a local in the area. We stop in to get Salad's and sandwiches whenever we are in the area. A must try!
