Can't figure out how else to leave a review for this through Wells Fargo so Yelp is the next best thing. Made an appointment well in advance to speak with a banker, and when we got to the bank about 3 minutes early, the security guard instructed us to skip the line outside and go right on in. We did as she said but there was not a single banker to be seen at the desks, or anywhere to tell us where to go for an appointment. We stood around a bit and then decided we would stand in the teller line to ask them if they could find an employee for our appointment. It was at this moment that a disgruntled man came inside and began to loudly harass us for about five whole minutes about "cutting in line" until someone finally came out of the back room to ask what "the problem was". We tried telling the man we had an appointment and we were only waiting for someone to come out to speak to, and that we were told to come right in. Not only did he completely ignore this but began to mock us and shout things like "you don't have an appointment! You just wanted to skip the line! That's not where you go if you actually had an appointment" etc. Well as stated we had an appointment, and when someone FINALLY came out of the back room to save us from this wildly uncomfortable incident, we got one quick "sorry about him" before walking us over to a desk where we continued to wait for our banker to show up, but NOTHING was said to this man who had harassed us for the last five minutes and caused a huge scene. It's because of people like him that someone should ALWAYS be out there to direct people where to go, not to mention be out there and available for their appointments, especially if the customer has taken the time to follow the rules and make appointments ahead of time. My poor dad who was with me said he didn't want the man to get any angrier because "that's the kind of person who would pull a gun on you nowadays". I should not have to feel this way when going in to a bank in Costa Mesa, and it's disappointing that nothing was said to the man who caused this uncomfortable scene.

This Wells Fargo has a nice big parking lot. They usually have at least 2-3 tellers working. I have not had any experience with any of the bankers here so I do not have input. Their tellers are just average. Not super outgoing or helpful, just do their job. Can get busy during lunch time here. During covid19 times there is a person near the entrance checking and helping customers. Standard Wells Fargo bank not good not bad

I've been a customer for over 20 years. I have never deposited a bad check. Why in the age of covid pandemic are they putting long holds on checks deposited at the atm? Why put your customers and employees lives more at risk if you can avoid it? Way to be tone deaf to current events

I like to share great experien with W.F. Bank on 17th Street in Costa Mesa. My name is Radim and I’m owner of small business, and appreciate it’s small details in customer service, which is very important to me.I went into the bank with large amounts of paper bills. I get help from Olivia and I like to say thank you for the great service, she answerd all my questions. Amazing service ! Marisol took the time to help me with a lost cashiers check that I needed to stop payment on , she went above and beyond . Thank you so much for the outstanding service ! Every other branch said make a appointment And even though I didn't have a appointment she Accommodated me and gave me 5 star service . Thank you for making this process smooth and with such a positive attitude.

Nice, friendly, clean, no line and AC, ! It was 96%, came from the branch on Harbor that could not accommodate cashing a check and poor service from the teller and manager. Rough customer service. Service from this BANK was a breath of fresh air. Teller was nice and friendly! This location cashed check with larger bills and with a smile!

My husband and I bank here. We have had Romy Patel help us on numerous occasions. She is professional, always super helpful, and super friendly. She goes above and beyond. We always leave with a smile. Cant reccomend her enough.

I was in need of getting quarters for laundry. I waited in line for a good 30 minutes. When I asked the teller for $40 in quarters she asked if I was a member of Wells Fargo, I stated no I was not, therefore she said she was only able to do $20 in quarters and I replied that was perfect. Then her manager told her no she wasn't allowed to perform that task for me. I went down the street to Bank of America and they exchanged my dollars for quarters no question asked. Lesson learned stay away from Wells Fargo Banks. Never do any business with them on any level.

Recently closed out account with US Bank down the street, absolutely worst Bank experience I ever had after 5 years I had enough. I walked into this location and was assisted by Monica within 1 minute of being there, I spoke to her about my situation and she was quick to bring up different options available, she took time to explain all of the different Accounts and Services they offer. Monica is certainly the MOST persistent Employee I have ever seen and this bank is VERY lucky to have a employee like her. It was easy to decide Wells Fargo Bank is the correct choice for me. All of the Tellers are very friendly! What a relief, it appears that Wells Fargo has a lot of pride in what employees they hire and it really shows.

everytime i've gone in here i've had a good experience. generally you have to wait for around 5-10 minutes if you go in late afternoon. kevin was very helpful today when everyone i called didn't know what was going on. overall i love wells fargo

Service at this location is declining. For 1 week the drive through ATMs still not working. This morning.... non of the ATM machines available for usage. The line in side the bank ridiculous with only 3 windows open Terrible service.....did they run out of money to fix the drive-thru ATMs?

Have to come here for work a lot. Employees have always been very friendly. whenever i walk in i am greeted 98% of the time unless everyone is helping someone. Only thing i will say is a very small percent of the tellers move pretty slowly when entering deposit info. I've had to wait here for a while on numerous occasions (honestly don't mind the waiting but some tellers do need to move a little bit faster) other than that the building is always clean as well as the parking lot. Overall good experience at this location
