Zero stars!!! Zilch! Nothing! Nada! "0"! I clicked 1 star because it won't post to not having one but this place doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I made an appointment online at prior to coming in at 12:00pm so I can have my haircut on my lunch break. I got there at 11:45am and checked in. At this point, it is already 12:23pm and I haven't been called yet and I noticed my name isn't on the TV monitor, so I asked how much longer? The staff kept on calling other customers and skipping me, so I stood up and left. This place is horrible!!! I understand when it get's busy but you can still be professional and polite to your customers. I wasted my lunch hour waiting for nothing. Never, ever coming back to this terrible place.

I made an appointment since the day before I tried to walk in and I as told it would be 20 minutes, so I decided to leave since I didn’t want to wait. Time is valuable and that is why I decided to make an appointment for the next day which I did. I was scheduled for 3:30PM which worked between my meetings. I showed up at 3:29PM and was instructed that I will have to wait because there are walk ins ahead of me? I said that I had made an appointment they said we can control the walk ins? I said the whole point of making an appointment is to avoid the walk in? They said that they can’t control the walk ins? I said then why would you make an appointment if you’re just going to prioritize the walk in? Why don’t you just tell those that call to make appointments that you’re just taking walk-ins ? Set the expectations! This ruined my day and messed up my plans. This place has definitely gone down hill. The best stylist are gone and customer service is for null. What a waster of time!

I set up an appointment for 4:30. I arrived 3 minutes early and checked in. I ended up waiting 35 minutes, watching multiple people arrive and receive haircuts during that time. I asked the employees what was going on multiple times over the wait, but I kept being told that I would receive a haircut “soon.” Eventually I had to leave before I could get a haircut.

I went to costa mesa 17th street location and was super bad. The lady named savannah was super dislike for me. Looks like she was doing a favor to cut my hair. not recommend !!
don't go there people we have more choices. After all this she asked me for tip ... jesus christ !

i hate to have to write this, but it was definitely not a pleasant experience for me here. i came here and was actually hoping to get my hair cut with bebe (and i did), after seeing the many good reviews of her on here. a few people on here said she was really nice and gave them exactly what they wanted. my first problem was that nothing was disinfected before i sat on the chair, and there was someone who came before me. i'm asthmatic so covid is scary for me, but my hair is very thick and heavy and gives me frequent headaches so i was in dire need for a haircut. right off the bat, bebe did not seem to have a pleasant attitude like some on here said. she asked me "what do you want"... like, okay? no need to be rude. then she proceeded to tell me that i couldn't have the cut i wanted because of this and that??? i know my own hair and i'm paying, so can i please just have what i wanted. anyways, i asked maybe twice if i could have shorter layers and she seemed to ignore my request. she was about to send me off without giving me my shorter layers. i asked her nicely if she could please just give me my layers and she gave me the rudest face i've ever seen. she also handled my hair very roughly, pulling and yanking, etc. she would make frustrated noises and such that made me upset, it's not my fault i have extremely thick hair, but going off her reviews i would expect her to know how to handle all sorts of hair. in the end i did end up getting a good result but her attitude with me (a young mexican kid) as opposed to the attitude she gave the previous client (an older white woman), was very drastic and made me a bit upset afterwards. not to mention she even had the audacity to see how much i was going to tip her, she literally leaned over the desk to look at the pin pad to see how much i was going to put. i tipped $10 and she still seemed visibly upset. i was on my last $40 dollars, and i ended up spending $35 in total. i know tipping is important but cmon, that was really unprofessional and almost greedy. i'm only 18 and i work a dumb part time job, what do you expect? anyways, i'm really sad that her reviews didn't actually live up to what i had imagined, but i guess the least i can say is that i'm happy with the overall cut.

HORRIBLE, unprofessional, and unpleasant. I went in and GAVE them a picture and description of what I wanted, the stylist had no idea what I wanted and without clarifying what I actually wanted began to buzz the sides of my head off. No scissor cut or anything, just decided she was going to do something and go with it. I only have a limited amount of time and I thought the local supercuts may be worth it for only 14.99 a month. Boy! was I WRONG! Cheap prices are a cheap haircut with staff that doesn't really care about the patients requests or mabye are just to new to know how to actually cut hair.
I told her as she buzzed my hair to bits that this was not what I wanted at all!....SHE continued to tell me that this was the style I wanted. I argued that it was not and she should have looked more at the picture. I am not a professional, YOU are supposed to BE! I can't research or tell you how to do your job, you are supposed to know it. the top part was so chopped it looked like a lesbian turkey! lol. I had to get it done somewhere else to get it even. It was such a horrible experience. I asked to the manager Jade to just give me the credit back. but like her staff she argued my request. Stating that she could "fix it". I could not belief it. I asked her to ask her superior. I had to call back several times and ask her if she had heard back. She was not going to follow-up, nor assist me in any way, but to give me another haircut...WITH WHAT HAIR!!!!????? How is she even managing this store? Horrible service, horrible management. Please save the trouble and get a professional to do it, because they are not here.

Awesome job the other day when I popped in for a much needed cut at the "parking lot" salon booth... I really appreciate the great and "safe" service. This is the kind of business we all need to support during the pandemic.
