Had one of my worst retail experiences with an associate by the name of Blanca Rezaei. I went in looking for an accent chair/recliner and Blanca stated that this RH location didn't carry any when I could clearly see a few scattered throughout the store. Decided to wander around anyways and actually found a chair that I liked. Blanca came over to assist me as I wanted to know what other color/material options were available and gave me attitude our entire interaction and cut me off several times. Not the ideal customer experience when shopping from RH. Will not be purchasing this chair through this location.

On April 7, 2022 we ordered some components for our bathroom remodel from the Restoration Hardware store in Costa Mesa (South Coast Plaza). Unfortunately, the items were late in arriving and we had to purchase those items somewhere else in order to finish the remodel on time. On April 26, 2022 we received the backordered items by mail and we returned them the same day to the store where we bought them. We were issued a credit for the full amount of the purchase since the items were never used at all. Although we were granted a credit, the store failed to refund our credit card account for those items. We visited the Costa Mesa store several times requesting the refund and were treated with empathy by the manager. She contacted the RH accounting office several times echoing our request and we were told that we were to receive a call from RH accounting office. We never did. Finally the manager was very apologetic and told us that she could not help us any longer since it was an accounting matter and she had no power over that. To this day we have not received the refund that they granted us when we returned the items we had purchased and the Accounting Department never called us to resolve this matter. I am writing this report with the hope that future customers purchasing and returning merchandise from Restoration Hardware be aware that the stores are not responsible for what the accounting department is doing. If they decide to illegally keep you money the store manager will not be able to help you collect at all. It is reprehensible that a reputable store like RH use this kind of stratagem to keep the customers refund.

This is a beautiful store at my new favorite mall aka South Coast Plaza. Is across the street from the main mall and much less crowded. We were looking for a particular light fixture which they didn't have but that wasn't their fault. The woman who tried to help us was very nice!

Wish u could give 0 stars, I went in to buy 2 couches and coffee tables and was completely ignored by the entire staff. Walked around for 20 minutes while everyone ignored me and my wife. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. Safe to say they have lost my current and all future business. Avoid giving the sales people commission at all costs. So rude.

TC is the designer you want to work with here. He has a great eye for design and I trust him with making sure everything will fit and look great together. He's super responsive and fast. He's amazing. Ask for him if you need anything design related here. I've also had a great experience with everyone else here. We've furnished many rooms and the quality of their furniture is always great. Delivery team is also wonderful.

As someone who works in luxury retail, the customer service was very poor. Shelly in particular was completely dismissive of our existence when we came into the store to make a very large furniture purchase. I went up to a sales representative and asked to be help; they immediately apologized. Regardless if we were going to purchase something or not, we should not have to ask to be acknowledged. Elaine on the other hand went above and beyond to give us a great experience. If we have any purchases moving forward, they will be done through her.

Avoid this location at all costs. The sales team is reluctant to assist upon entering the store, they have a tendency to prioritize conversations amongst themselves, and if you happen to purchase with them, they're even more unresponsive. Originally tried to place the order with a rep online, they encouraged me to visit the store for better service. Unfortunately that was not the case, the rep we worked with took our order and provided contact info but took days to reply to text messages. We had enough of her and ended up cancelling most of our order (except custom items) and re-ordering everything with an online rep, who by the way was fantastic. If you can place your order online, do it. We shop RH regularly and honestly, when you make purchases, there is a minimum expectation with regard to customer service, RH should visit this issue and retrain their people.

We ordered custom curtains in Feb 2021 from this store. There have been significant delays because of "COVID". We just got delivery in July of our $4,000 curtains and they are wrong. Two sets were not supposed to be lined, they are. The entire set is supposed to be set up for pin hangers. They are all set up for a rod. The sewing quality is also atrocious. Target curtains are better. When we called they said there was nothing they can do because it's a custom order. When asked even if they screwed it up they said that's how it was ordered so there is nothing they can do. Never ever ever doing business with a shitty company like this again. Shame on me for spending good money on something I thought was a quality product. It's crap, it's wrong, it was delayed. I hate it.

Unbelievable horrible service. Needed to purchase 20k worth of light fixtures, came to the store with the whole list ready to order. Waited 40 min and none of the "designers" was available. Guess what, took my business to fantastic store in Costa Mesa with custom lights. Fantastic service !! So if u are looking for great, unique lights check out Custom House Lightning. Give business to people who deserve it.

We purchased a sectional sofa - we said we wanted it to be foam down wrapped which would be firmer and of high quality and would stand up to the test of time. The sofa arrived soft. The seats and pillows collapse as you sit on them. We called restoration and they were not interested in the issue. We paid over $11,000 for this sofa and at that price you would expect it to be high end. We are getting rid of it after two months and no one even wants to buy it second hand even at half or less than we paid. The fabric is pilling and the pillow are now completely collapsed and the seats look like they ten years old. We have reordered a new sofa from Tommy Bahamas for way less and far superior quality-we have three of their sofas and they hold up fantastically- and give excellent customer service. So terrible that RH don't stand behind their product and that for the price the quality is so terrible. I would not buy anything from them again. Stay away-Their product is terrible!
