have been coming to RA for a while and finally met the owner today! Had a wonderful conversation and he really showed how much this space is built for the community. Looking forward to continuing to expand my practice at RA:)

Make sure you have a card to put on file otherwise they won’t let you practice here

Instructors are welcoming to all, and go out of their way to make class a fun light-hearted space. There is a strong emphasis on building community, which I fully appreciate. I especially loved their Summer of Joy Challenge, in which dollar donations were matched for an organization of choice, along with an in-studio donation drive. Lots of class times and styles are offered, and if that still doesn't work, classes are streamed, so you still have lots of options--there is no way you are going to miss out on a class. ;) Parking can be a little hectic at certain times, but if you ask the studio, pro-tips will be given, and you'll get a sense of how to handle timing. Management has been very responsive to any questions or concerns: they've been great with communication. Love you Ra!

1. Very warm and inviting2. Phenominal staff.3. Facilities + amenities are superb.4. All comes with a price tag, which has to be weighed based on personal fitness/wellness priorities.5. Would absolutely recommend to at least check out, can't speak for all locations...but, judge for yourself. Thanx Mona.

Aside from the fact that the studio is clean and well equipped with two rooms and amazing instructors. This has been the best studio in Costa mesa.I just left a class and had a great experience. Mary at the front was extremely helpful and patient in finding a class package that worked for me. Also, she informed me of their second location in Newport Beach. I strongly recommend dropping in at the least

I have fallen in love with this studio. The teachers, the space and the movement. I love that they offer introductory classes to heat and movement, (was able to bring my Roomate and she really enjoyed the intro to level 1 class) The strength class is juicy and fun but not so insanely fast paced that you can't keep balance. It is very intentional movements with an incredible offering of modifications for every exercise. The vinyasa sequences classes always start with some warm up to movement and then some sun salutations. In my opinion..is it really vinyasa with out some standard sun salutations? The teachers are warm and encouraging, they make you feel strong and capable, they are motivating and full of love while also staying away from harmful diet culture terms.I feel privileged to have enjoyed the last week with this studio, and hope my wonderful experience continues. (Currently doing my 2 week intro special)

I have been attending Ra Yoga for almost a year and a half now and I love the Long Beach and Newport location but this location (Costa Mesa) is absolutely the worst. Due to the rude receptionist named MONA (big glasses and fuzzy hair). This isn't the first time I have had a negative experience with her and this is also not the first time I've seen a bad review of this individual. She is completely rude, horrible customer service, extremely entitled, and should not work at any yoga facility because of her negative energy. The owner/manager should really look into this employee.

I took my first yoga class with Raquel and it was nothing short of amazing. I learned quite a few lessons about myself in one little hour. And I'll be ready to have another near death experience soon and will be looking forward to shedding more blood sweat and tears with Miss Raquel!

Place is super cute. Feels very earthy. I signed up for the reStore yoga class and walked out. They're over booking the class and it's in a very small room. There was like one place left for a yoga mat and two people checked in for it as I walked out because it was too crowded.

Please limit your class sizes for the overall quality and safety of members. This is a chronic issue and it's become much worse to the point you cannot move comfortably during class which can lead to severe injuries. It not only comprises the quality/enjoyment of practice but I've also noticed a lot of teachers have little experience and are not able to focus on students form/safety. Too many instances of people with improper form that can cause serious injury without any correction, demonstrations etc. It just feels very impersonal and believe smaller classes will help fix some if these issues. Good luck all!

Great classes - no space. It's like a sardine can in there - very uncomfortable when flowing with so many people. Stretching and being right behind someone's butt crack or feeling their sweat splash on you. A literal Petri dish and I never see them disinfect floors between each class or the props (yoga lates props and weights are touched and put right back). A great way to build your immune system I guess lol. The only tolerable class with space is the Yin Restore. If you're okay with all this, highly recommend Ra Strength and Vinyasa Level 2 for more experienced yogis.
