This is such an incredible studio! I have done quite a bit of a barre at other studios and this is easily one of my favorites, if not absolute favorite. I love that they have wooden floors, unlike pure barre which has carpeting. The whole place has a very fun vibe. Always a great work out and the instructors are super friendly and helpful.

I took my first barre class here on January 28, 2022. It was an amazing experience! I've already been back 3 times! I've been doing barre for 4 years and I was looking for a new studio since mine closed due to Covid. The studio itself was very clean and the space was quite large inside. The instructors (Tara & Morgan) that I've had are very professional and teach Barre using all of the proper techniques. The owners are a fabulous mother & daughter team. They are very professional & accommodating! I'm so happy I found a new barre studio! Come try barre, you will love it here!

Meraki is one of my favorite barre studios and overall workout location in the area. The studio is clean and well kept, they've done a great job with their Covid adjustment. They keep the side garage door open during workouts for air and sanitizer wipes for equipment. The instructors are always very knowledgeable and give a variety of workouts, classes, etc.

AMAZING PLACE! It was my first barre class and I am so sore, in such an amazing way. Jess who taught our class was phenomenal. The music was great and the work out was a real hit! The facility is nice and welcoming. I always get nervous going to a new facility or class to work out because you don't know anyone but Jess and all the other attendees were so nice and welcoming!! Free lockers and the room was perfect! I highly recommend!

I tried Barre and I love it. I got my a** kicked. My whole body was so sore but I loved it. After the Barre class I stayed back for Hip Hop. The reason I gave this place 3 stars was because of this class. I was hoping that it'd be a safe environment since I'm not really good with choreography. I can move my body, I can dance and I love dancing (freestyle) but I'm a little bit slower than everyone else at following the instructor dance moves. But I felt judged. The instructor seems to be very frustrated when I couldn't get the steps. He kept saying "It can't be any simpler". I get it. It's simple to you, just like Math or Science is simple to someone but not for others. I love dancing and I'm sorry that I'm not really good at it but I was really trying hard to follow. And there's this girl in class she kept trying to teach me how to move and giving me instructions when nobody asked and it distracted me so much to the point that I actually gave up. It's such a bummer cause I was really looking forward to taking this class. I'll continue to come back for Barre and I want to try TRX and Pound but probably not Hip Hop. I'll find some other class around here or maybe just dance at home where nobody's looking.

My first time at this place was last Wednesday when i came to take hip hop with the fabulous tremaine & let me start off by saying it was ABSOLUTELY amazing!! This class is such a great cardio workout while having a fun time dancing & learning new moves! Tremaine is so encouraging & takes time to go over & over the routine so that you understand it personally so at the end of the class when we dance it out you can remember it & end up putting your own twist & personality to the routine! Definitely a MUST go to class!! Even if you have no experience!! So worth it! The atmosphere is nice & super friendly people!!

I love Meraki Barre! I don't know why it has taken me so long to write a review, but I guess there is no time like the present. The reason I love this studio is the people. The owner and instructors are honestly the nicest and easiest people to get along with. I feel most studios in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach are stuffy and cliquey but this studio really encourages you to be yourself. You can tell the owner and instructors have fun and enjoy their work and I think that makes it more fun for us when we work out.

Love, love! I've been coming to Meraki Barre on and off for about a year or so. I'd heard a lot about pound from friends on the East Coast, and was looking for something new to incorporate into my workout routine. I found that Meraki Barre is one of the few places in Orange County that has pound. (Crunch is another one.. but the reviews I read on Crunch were horrible... and I don't want another standard gym membership.) In the time that I've been going to Meraki, there have been a few pound instructors (I think the first few times I came, the instructor was covering for someone on maternity leave.) Lately, the classes have been with Brie, and she's great! I'm not the most coordinated person in the world.. but this class pushes me in the right way. And it's fun! I like the fact that the studio isn't huge -- you can actually SEE the instructor and understand what's going on. Pound usually has between four and seven individuals -- these are good numbers. In addition to pound, I did their ballet fundamentals class a few months ago, too. I do look forward to actually trying one of the barre classes someday :) 2018: 40/100

This was my go-to barre studio before I moved to LA this year. I've tried all the other studios in OC and now some in LA, and there's just definitely something special about Meraki. Robin, the owner, is amazing and always super accommodating. If I ever had any issues in the past, she always addressed them quickly (ex: forgot to sign up for a class, etc.). From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. I love their instructors. Contrary to what negative reviews claim, they do switch up the routines. I like that each instructor has their own unique style and incorporates that into the workout. If you love barre and want to get a kick-ass workout in a chill and relaxed studio, you've found the place. You'll always be greeted with a smile and Robin always has amazing specials for class packages. Do yourself a favor and come here.

This studio is great! I have been coming here since June 25th. I remember the date because that's also the same birthday as my best friend. I love all the classes here because the instructors keeps the whole class engaged and motivated. I usually take the last class after work, and it has work wonders on my weight. This means alot to me, I have tried kick boxing, cardio dances and even a personal trainer and nothing. But the key is consistency. Also Robyn is awesome, super understanding and nice to talk to! Come and check out this studio if you want a good workout.
