This review is specifically based off my experience this past weekend in the toy department. I was happy to see that this Macy's carried a nice and decent selection of toys. I found three to get as gifts for my 9.5 month old daughter from the "Imaginarium" brand. I hadn't heard of the brand before, but they had a decent selection of quality toys to choose from. When I was in the process of checking out, the cashier seemed perplexed when I asked if the 40% off had applied. She proceeded to tell me "the system" wasn't showing it on sale and all she could apply was 15% off. Confused and uncertain as to why this was the case, I took a photo of the advertised sign clearly marked 40% off original price. She applied 40% off one item... I decided to hop in line again and speak with another cashier to see if this frustrating mystery could be resolved. He brought down the manager who told me "Oh ya, things have been crazy around here. That sign is in the wrong place, but you got 40% off one item." For real, that's your solution/answer? I politely responded that I understood I received 40% off one item, but according to their signage it's all 3 items on sale. She refused to take ownership of their mistake and said that was the price. The difference was maybe $6 or $7... a small amount in the grand scheme of things to do the right thing. I will not ever be shopping here again due to Macy's blatant bait and switch practices. Shame on you.

We had to furnish a whole house in Palm Desert, We went to the furniture department at Macy's in Costa Mesa, and met with Sammy wonderful wonderful wonderful if you need to buy furniture you need to see him He is patient, honest, kind, with you. He will tell you if you're looking at something that's not a great quality and let you know that, let me tell you it's been months and months of ordering furniture He knows us well from this experience I highly recommend him to help you with all your needs,

My girls and I were looking for couches. There was plenty of help all of them friendly and offering assistance. They made themselves available but not overly aggressive or pestering. Madhi ended up assisting us. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Honestly nowadays it's rare to receive good customer service so we were very pleased and would come back again when we need something and ask for him.

When I got married, we shopped for furniture at the Broadway Outlet Store in Lincoln Heights off of Broadway. Today, the Costa Mesa store has the best deals on Macy's furniture that is still of high quality and reasonable discounts. I was looking for a nice recliner, as the Costco recliner is broken and never was really comfortable. I found the right recliner and paid the same amount as the Costco recliner from five years ago. I will always shop the Costa Mesa Home Store first just to look for deals.

Bad experience with Mattress people. I was ready to buy a Tempur-Pedic mattress and the first thing they told me when I arrived there was "WE DONT HAVE ANY FLOOR SAMPLE" This is terrible! I'm emailing the company as well! Just go to any other Macys home! This is not worthy

Bought a $10k king koil smartlife lily. I was going to buy from sit n sleep but liked the sales rep at Macys, Rashmi. She texted me from her cell phone, did everything she could. Unfortunately, Macys corporate is not as customer focused. The first scheduled delivery the didn't show and didn't call, when we finally got the mattress, 3 weeks later the Mattress was broken.. YUP... a $10k mattress. I couldn't reach one person at customer services. Thank goodness for Rashmi. She handled everything for us. Because of her we agreed to switch to the top of the line Tempur-pedic. For some reason, customer services couldn't process my exchange. So, we had to purchase the mattress again and have a lapse in delivery schedules. It's just been an entire mess. Spent hours at Macys trying to make the purchase. Hopefully we like our new mattress.

Had a great experience yesterday with the help of Manager Daniel and Clerk Abira ( I may have it wrong). Thanks to their patience an hard work I had to return 36 pillows and then repurchase for the sale price as I was out of the price adjustment period. Being able to save nearly $600 was clutch and I am sure the story made everyone's day. Thanks again for the amazing customer service Macys Home team!

So... I received a text informing me it was Macy's home sale. That got it me in the door! I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow! I was pleasantly surprised. I've been on a hunt for some super soft bath towels -- not the kind that barely dry you off and that function like a paper towel. I was able to buy two sets from Hotel Collection at 60% off -- making them within my budget. I was also able to snag a new toaster at a decent discount. Had it not been for the sale, I'm pretty sure I'd have left empty handed. But when those sales comes around... count me in! 2022: 21/100

Macys is the worst place to buy furniture. They have constantly dropped the ball on delivering the right furniture to me. I purchase a cal king mattress and they deliver a twin mattress. I've been waiting 4 weeks for this mattress and now who knows when or if I'll get my mattress. I do not recommend Macys for any type of furniture purchases. Save your time and go elsewhere. If I could give them negative stars believe me I would. If a company ever deserved to close or go out of business it's Macys home stores, there service is horrible. Thanks for nothing Macys, I wish you the worst. Close your doors for good.

I bought a queen size mattress pillow top, foundation, mattress protector and metal bed frame. Then salesman talks me into buying Worry-no-more insurance. Waste of your money and lying salesman! After 3 years of washing and drying mattress protector it started thinning and feeling gummy. I called WNM and I had to submit a claim with pictures. They denied claim saying they could not see thinning in pics. Even though salesman had told me you could get one a year? Save your $150.00 , from what I understand very hard to get them to help. I despise liars.

Yesterday we went in Macy's Home to look for pillows for my living room. We found two black and white floor pillows that seemed like a match. With so many employees standing around, you would think that there would be help right away BUT no.... After tracking down an employee, he called someone else to help and after a long time waiting, she came. Unfortunately provided little help because the pillows didn't have a tag and she couldn't find the price. After a few minutes of searching on her iPad, she told me that she could sell them to me because she didn't know how to price them. I asked if there was a manager or someone to help and she said no. Seemed like she really didn't want to help and it seems like Macy's should have items on their floor unless they can sell them. Very disappointed and would ask management to do better with training employees and inventory pricing.

The sales reps know nothing about the warranty services and coverage. I paid $1000 for nothing. I made a purchase in January from Macy's Home Store(South Coast Plaza). Bought a full living room and bedroom set. The sales rep Mojgan convinced us to purchase warranty services for each purchase for a total of $1000. I was told that by buying the warranty, I can always ask for a free replacement or cleaning services if something happens to my furniture. I opened 2 cases with Macy's. One for cleaning the stains on the Sofa and the couch and another for inspecting the bedroom nightstand since the paint is peeling off and it is not even a year since I bought it. First of all, they direct you to a third party called worry no more for warranty services, and they told me that the result of stains on my Sofa and couch is due to normal wear and tear, and they can not help me with it. And the other case, the inspection never showed up. I scheduled it twice, and the second time they showed up two days later. Very disappointed. We were sold a lie and were totally misled by the sales rep and paid $1000 for nothing. Do not buy their lie.

I waited 110 days for my order, never get an email that it arrived, get a delivery date after I called the automated line to find out it was in, and scheduled delivery two days later, white glove. I get an email the day prior its coming, with my office number as contact. ( Was a delivery to a plan springs house that someone was standing by to let them in) We open at 8am. Imagine the shock having a message from 7am saying we will be there 7:15, and they leave 7:45 . I call once I get the message at 8 and after 55 minutes on the line, get the customer service head manger in Florida who says the truck is gone and next Thursday is the next date. I either cancel it and screw myself, or take the screwing, so I cancelled. Absolutely terrible customer relations, and atrocious system to alert us. They said an automated call came the day before with the time window, and we got NO CALL. Buy from anyone else but Macys. they dont deserve your money.

I ordered a bedroom set (king bed, dresser, two nightstands) on January 18, 2021 at this store. Original delivery date was mid-March. That was pushed back to April. Then pushed to July, then August, and now November (10 MONTHS LATER!). Each time there is a delay, I waste time on hold trying to call in and I hear different updates from different people. Even the original salesman (Shahin Moeini) has said one thing and customer service has said another. In July, customer service told me 2 weeks before the delivery date that it was on schedule, but then 3 days before I get a call saying it was pushed back again. I say all of this to show that Macy's has no idea when they'll be able to deliver items. I can understand supply chain delays, but this is getting ridiculous. It's also shady business practices that Macy's continues to sell items when they have absolutely no way of fulfilling the orders. I feel like I'm stuck waiting it out as we got it on sale and can't replace it for the same cost. We've also wasted so much time already that I hope we get the product some day to make it worth it. Warning to customers: DO NOT BUY until they fix their fulfillment problems.

I live in a condo with an HOA policy that deliveries cannot take place before 10am. I advised of this when purchasing a TV console, and it was added to the delivery notes at purchase time and we set-up a delivery date. I received my notice of delivery via email, and what a surprise, delivery window 8:15-10:15! I attempted calling customer service about my delivery time, but after several failed attempts to get a live person, I called the store. I was told that nothing could be done, delivery warehouse is their own entity, and when I asked, "So I'm basically screwed", the reply I got was yes, unreal. I received a call at 7:30am on delivery day, stating they'd be at my place before 8am!! I stated this wouldn't work, told them why, and was told I'd get a return call, nothing. At 1pm I called them and was told that delivery wouldn't happen, I'd have to re-schedule. Customer service was supposed to call me, but three days later now and I've heard nothing! Obviously I cancelled the order, but what a horrific experience. I don't understand how this one small accommodation couldn't be made, especially after everything I've purchased from them. Sorry to say, but I am DONE with Macy's.
