I've done a number of prenatal yoga classes during my two pregnancies, and I can say Colleen's ma yoga class is my favorite! This class provides community, emotional support, deep stretching, and some butt kicking all in an hour and a half. This class has been a savior for balancing out some of the aches and pains of pregnancy, but has also been a huge support during some emotional ups and downs too. I highly recommend all of the may yoga prenatal classes, but Colleen's especially.

Colleen's prenatal yoga Class is amazing! I started going around 21 weeks because I had horrible morning sickness up until that point and finally felt good enough to go. I forgot what it was like to move my body and breathe. I do yoga regularly and am a bit of a yoga snob :) So choosing a prenatal class and helpful guide is a big deal for me. Colleen treats each session as a community bonding experience. We start with a little sharing about how we are feeling and I personally get a lot from this. All of the women who are ahead of me share their experiences and I feel that prepares me for my time when I'm that far along. And for the women who are not as far along, you pay it forward. She regularly brings in speakers and shares resources of who she recommends for prenatal services without making it seem sales pitchy. Everyone in the room seems to love this massage therapist named Javier! After our group chat, we do centered breathing and connecting/bonding with our baby before we start movement. It's such a cherished time for me to connect with him when he's not kicking or my feeling uncomfortable. I'm reminded of how remarkable this experience truly is. We move into various asana/postures lead with the breath. I love her cues of alignment! It's why this yoga snob approves of this prenatal yoga class ;) There's plenty of repetition of postures for those who aren't familiar with doing yoga to feel confident in what you are doing but enough variation for the experienced yogis to not feel like it's routine. I think my only wish would be to make the class officially 90 minutes instead of 75. And to offer a midday class on opposite days (Tuesdays/Thursday's)!

Colleen is excellent, thoughtful, caring, and leads you into positions with a purposeful mindset of how to mentally prepare for labor. Truly the best!! I highly recommend her and the classes. After you have your baby you can do baby and me yoga, too!!

Loved doing my prenatal and baby & me yoga with Colleen. She's amazing and the other mamas you meet are so wonderful as well. It was nice to continue my yoga practice in a pregnancy focused environment. I learned so much from Colleen and the other ladies about pregnancy, childbirth and newborns. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it!

My little guy and I went to Ma Yoga for a few months. We loved it! We went to Lauren's and Colleen's classes and felt so supported, so much love, and received lots of great advice. I watched my little one go from a nervous cryer to an outgoing social guy after a few months. He just lived being there. I highly recommend that every new mama try this out. And let Colleen and Lauren and all the other moms love and support you during this sometimes challenging time.

I give this place 5 stars because Yoga is more then just a practice its a belief and a way of living anything less then a 5 is a reflection of My personal foundation in Yoga as a belief. This place is full of opportunity, if you want it.

I just love Spectra. The people are so friendly. The teachers are amazing. The class selection is so various you will be hard pressed not find a time to practice. I have made so many friends at this studio because everyone is so welcoming. Being a plus sized girl going to a new studio is always intimidating, but not here. I instantly felt like family. The studio is large with a huge locker room and a great store selection of mats and clothes and other yoga items. You get your first week free so what is there to lose. This studio is amazing and I am so thankful to belong to it.
