Came in, hoping for a good experience. I took my 2 cousins in to get a reel he is a beginner and wants a good setup very little selection. Once we started with the person there, older man heavier set, he was a bit pushy with my cousin I had to remind my cousin not to feel pressure to buy and to get something he really wants and Likes from there on the man just started with one thing after another we left and bought nothing he stated won't find a cheaper price even tho I went to my usual spot found same reel for $40 cheaper and they spool me up with braided line free as well all about the customer service I would STAY AWAY!! from this place unless you absolutely have no choice. There are very bad vibes in there and so much pressure to buy

This is the best tackle spot around. I'm pretty sure it's ran by a father and son. They are super friendly and helpful. Also, EVERYTHING is fair priced and they do not try to UP-SELL you on things you do not need. They will simply get you fishing ready on a budget. They have everything you would need from pier fishing, rock fishing, deep sea fishing. Just ask and they are willing to help. 2nd time here and it's safe to say I found MY FAVORITE tackle shop!! My favorite part is they don't try to upsell shit. (Like selling you shit that isn't necessary.. just to make ends meet.) they do NOT do that AT ALL NEWBIES, you'll love this spot

I won't go to any other tackle shop. Service, inventory, advice, customer relationships---these things matter here. Jason and his father, Rick run the best tackle shop in OC. They're friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and always provide a great in-store experience. If that's not enough, Shopdog the black lab will win you over. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

This shop is very well organized and well stocked. They had the reel I could not find anywhere else and did a fantastic job putting on the line. The two gentlemen who helped me were knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be going back when I revisit the area.

While ordering some food nearby I spotted this store and not being from area but being an avid angler, I walked in to buy a western news and free fish taco magazine.liked around and saw some cool shirts and that they had a very well stocked store. As I was looking at some reasonable priced hooks, I heard the someone asking about Lobster traps and the man at the counter gave some good pointers to the couple. Next time in area I will for sure do some shopping here.

Repeat customer over and over again. Reels, Rods and tackle. They have it all and prices are very reasonable. Best of all the staff and owner are very friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes Rick the owner tells jokes....most are funny but just like fishing sometimes you miss.
