Darlene in the Appliance Department in Costa Mesa showed me that good people that care still exist. I went to Home Depot because the LG Washer that I recently purchased went down in price by $100 and I was hoping to get that refunded. Starting at Customer Service, the manager had me go to the appliance dept. There I found total resistance to giving me a refund. I requested the manager who told told the the HD employee to get Darlene to help. In compliance to HD rules, the store could not issue a refund because the washer had shipped from El Toro. From the kindness of her heart, she called, the store, the internet helpline, and stood on hold for at least 15 minutes. Darlene got me my refund! I can't thank her enough for her time and patience.

Will, the manager, was so helpful with this fire pit I bought today. There was a problem with the item that nobody could've seen until it was opened. After the two garden area workers loaded it into my car for me and I brought it home and began assembling it, I noticed the dial to adjust the gas was broken. Manufacturer said it wasn't something they could fix that I would need Home Depot's help. I called and got through to Will and he was so so helpful. I really appreciated his customer service on a busy day and making sure I got taken care of. Thank you, Will

I was in Thursday looking for furniture legs. Your employee Jager brained stormed for me. Found some make shift legs, cut them down to the size I needed. This young man went above and beyond to help me. Congrats to you for having such a super star employee. Good people are so hard to find these days. Thank you again Jager for your help, and humor. Kind, quick service.First time at this location, needed to pick up an order for work right at opening time. In and out in less than 10 mins, even with a couple customers ahead of me. Came a couple more trips after the fact for more items.Random, but if the store manager sees this - can you maybe ask the person who parks his motorcycle in the order pickup area to park elsewhere that's more secure/safe for them? I feel like someone is going to damage his beautiful bike with a cart or something. The customer service area isn't supposed to be utilized as employee motorcycle parking...

This home depot has a large collection of succulents, outside, and inside plants compared to other ones I've seen. They're Halloween selection is a little small, but they have these really cute glass solo lights. $15.

Just wanted to shout out Marissa, Sam and the new hire who helped me this week. They went out of there way to make me feel like a valued customer. Long story short I went in for some paint earlier in the week and dropped paint all over myself. (You can laugh, I did). Every worker in the paint department came to help. I called Marissa the manager the next day regarding this incident and she went above and beyond to further assist me along with Sam. Thank you!

They need to fire that manager that thought closing down the lumber department at 6pm was a good idea so that the employees can move everything twice. Once into the lumber department from outside and once again at night to load the product. Don't come here if you want to buy anything

One of the worst experiences ever had with Home Depot,Don who works here said to me he is busy and can not help me, he try to find another guy to help me more than 20 minutes!!! But my job is only takes 30 seconds to do!!!When I talked to store manager Jeff, he said that he can not help me and I should wait for him until he find out free time, Don was sitting at his chair and laughing for whole time than when I trying to do that job by myself he came to me so rude and do it , it’s just one cut and they wasted my time more than 45 minutes for it, if Don and Jeff don’t want yo work why they are not staying at home and send them their paycheck, it’s more helpful for use as customers

with the 2 stars, I am trying to average out the way that sometimes it goes ok (they have what you want and checkout is easy) and sometimes it is a really terrible experience. The Home Depot cashiers at self-checkout are really aggressively "helpful" and do not hesitate to get in your face if they think you are going too slow or don't understand something.

I had a Kitchen designed by a Home Depot consultant that is faulty and should have never been offered to me. Home Depot is now telling me it is my fault because: 1. I signed off on the design. (Which is a fire hazard) I'm a consumer I didn't know and I asked about the hazard and was told it would be fine. 2. I had someone else do the installation. My installer was following the faulty fire hazard design. Now Home Depot is saying I'm going to have to fix it on my dime! I wish I could give lower than one star this experience has been a total nightmare and is still going..........
