I am very disgusted by the attitude and behavior of the workers at this specific free people store. One of the managers that got involved with my return, was rolling her EYES. I stood in that store for half an hour and without properly taking care of the issue, she told me to just call customer service... Safe to say I will not be returning back to this store.

its so tiny at south coast plaza. however EVERYTHING is THE NEWEST and most IT things!!!!!!! It took a few weeks after when I buckled down and purchased / downed a few $1000s for the items I saw at this store. They have a very limited amount of stuff, however, at least u see them in person, and they are gorgeous items, and then I bought a lot of them online soon after. And also sold out immediately. It's like this store KNOWS what will be a hit among people ahead of what's cool! I wouldn't mind visiting this store again, however I live in San Diego.

Well kept store with friendly employees, but in a very small space. Usually lacking the active line, and not a great variety of clothing in general.

THIS IS FOR AN ONLINE ORDER NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION. So I ordered a specific product with a specific color and they chose so send me another color, I called them to see what could be done , they just said they would email me a return label um HELLO THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT IT WAS YOURS !!! I was supposed to wear this product to an event and will not be able to ship out and then reorder on time to use it , the least you can do is send me the right color, I SHOULD NOT have to waste MY time and resources to ship out the wrong product that YOU SENT me so refund me or send the right product ! It's not my fault you sent the wrong one and plus their customer service sucks I spend so much money on their app yea I had the app ! And they can't even do this for me after it's their fault You've been warned . So unhappy I love their clothes however it's become a thing of ethics now

Weird store, disinterested staff. Tiny, broom closet sized location at South Coast Plaza. Staff member was friendly at first then turned completely cold after I passed on the items I tried on. There were literally only two customers in the store and the employee couldn't remember she already helped me. Cashier was disinterested and unfriendly. How does this store stay open and why does it exist?

Why do i keep shopping in store with these people? These big companies where customer service doesn't seem to matter during a time where customer relationships SHOULD matter the most. i went in today to do an exchange on a pair of leggings and a pair of knit pants i had purchased three days ago at the irvine location. i just had a baby and with limited fitting room access i didn't have time to wait and try them that day in store. They didn't end up fitting (it's hard figuring out what fits postpartum) so i took them to EXCHANGE at my local free people store here at South Coast. I always have them email me a copy of my receipt but for some reason this time it didn't go thru. When i asked the associate if i could exchange or get a merchandise credit she said that without the receipt she couldn't help me. After the awkward pause i asked if she had any suggestions, i literally purchased the items 3 DAYS AGO. the only advice she offered was for me to physically go into the irvine store and have them look for and print me a hard copy of my receipt. Her attitude was extremely unhelpful and she didn't seem like she wanted to even try to help me. Honestly, I could understand if it was busy or if there was truly nothing they could do but the store was DEAD and i was the only customer in there. I work in customer service and there's always a way to make the customer happy and resolve an issue. I left upset and ended up calling the Irvine location. After speaking with an associate there, she was able to find my receipt in 5 minutes and she even emailed me a copy. She was surprised that the store didn't offer to call and go thru the same process because that's normally what they do for each other. Unfortunately i will not be shopping at the South Coast location anymore. They obviously do not care about sales or retaining clients. They weren't even willing to make a simple phone call. **shout out to the IRVINE LOCATION for being extremely helpful and kind!!** thank you!!

The associates and cashier working there were super kind and overall I felt very welcomed in the store. However, I wish the store wasn't so small. There were barely any items at this location. I wish they have more cute things that they carry online.

After moving to OC I've been a costumer to this location for about two years now. But the costumer service at this place is unpleasant, I have been treated way better at forever 21 than at this place. The workers won't even greet you as you walk in the store, I have walked into this place looking my best and worse. Like three days ago, I went shopping after school so I wasn't looking my best, not one of the three workers offered me any help even though the store was empty and the workers were all talking and laughing LAUDDLY at the cashier station. I had to carry my clothes and pretty much show myself the way into the dressing room.

I went there not so long and honestly I've never felt so uncomfortable. The cashier that rang me up was great! But one of the associates kept following me around the store and I tried on a couple of headbands and she would just stare at me in disgust. I thought I was overthinking but then she followed me to the dressing room and then to watch me pay for my top. The associate that rang me up was really nice and made conversation with me; when she asked me what my email address stood for I told her it was my university email and the rude associate rolled her eyes. I was not pleased with her attitude and I hope no one ever gets treated like this. The rude associate was a tall Caucasian woman with dark hair, had a tattoo on her back and was wearing a black cardigan. She ruined my mall experience today.

For years I've been buying Free People bras because they're typically lightweight and perfect for peeking out from under a blouse or a tee with larger arm holes. Recently I've fallen in love with Free People's tees and tanks because they're incredibly soft and airy. On our most recent visit the person who helped us was super friendly and when an item was out of stock in this location she checked nearby locations that might have it for us. It's cool to see that Free People is carrying Rosebud salve now too. It's such a great do-all formula that I love to use as lip balm, a fix for dry cuticles, and a salve for cracked skin. We used to have to order it so I'm glad I can buy local now!
