Hands down the best, most effective workout classes. I struggled with finding a gym that could deliver a new workout each time. I found myself hitting a peak and not being able to move past it. With the help of FSF each and every time I’m in a class, they push me while creating a fun environment! I have never felt more welcomed. Coach Javi and Coach Courtney treat their clients as if they are their own family. FSF is truly one of a kind and I can’t say enough nice things about it.

I have never seen a cleaner and more organized gym . There is plenty of everything so your not stepping on anyone during a workout . The big doors are open to let the sunshine and breeze flow through . It's tucked away off the beaten path so there is no issues ever finding parking . The owner Gil is friendly and usually there of you have a question about equipment or how to use it . There are personal training options as well . I'm very happy to have stumbled on this place rather then a franchise .

I was welcomed into the FSF fam back in October and it’s been life changing. I was beyond out of shape but Court & Javi believed in me and encouraged me to not give up, even when I wanted to stop and it’s honestly made me a better person in the gym and outside of it as well- I have no more excuses.. ha! They follow the covid protocols and keep the gym really clean.

I really enjoy working out with Javi Torres at this gym. The Environment is so welcoming and transparent and that motivates you to do more. We work out at 5 am and that early work out really gets your mind ready for a challenging day ahead especially if you are a business owner because being in peak performance is key for my clients.

I was a member of First Step Fitness from January 2013 through 2016. When I left, I wanted to find something closer to my home. After spending two years at another gym, I made the decision to return to FSF in February of this year. Why would I do that when the other place was a mere five minute drive from my home and slightly less expensive? First Step Fitness is more than a place to workout - it is a close-knit family. Everyone is friendly and supportive, so it makes the tough workouts feel like an energizing lift versus a difficult chore. The trainers greet everyone and they even follow up if they haven't seen you in a week. The accountability is incredible because it is done in a positive way that motivates people to get the most out of their membership. Love this place!

This is the first gym that I have been to where I can honestly say that I feel at home. I'm not judged for where I am at regarding my fitness level, but just inspired and motivated to do better than my last session. All of the trainers are great and are so awesome at helping me with my form and doing the exercises correctly. This is a great gym and I love coming here.

I just started coming here on a regular basis and I've been having a great time. The space is about the size of a basketball court, maybe a little smaller. There's a full complement of weight machines for circuit training. Free-weights are available in a variety of styles. Not much in the way of cardio - a couple of treadmills and 2 elliptical machines. In the corner there are 4 bikes. An open area is available for jump rope, balance training and stretching. Personal training sessions are the name of the game here. It appears many people are here for physical therapy. You have a choice of that or working out at your own pace. There's not much in the way of amenities. There's a men's and women's changing room with cube lockers. The men's room is small and has a standup shower and toilet separated by opaque curtains. I assume the same is true for the ladies'. There's another separate bathroom off the main desk. A water machine is available. There is also bottled water and energy bars(?) for sale. A couple of flatscreens are installed, but they're not on very often. The music is Top 40. So far the most attendees I've seen at one time hasn't been over 10, not including the trainers. There's always plenty of room and you pretty much have your pick of workout stations. Big plus. Gil's the owner. He's a former champion weightlifter. Everyone here is very friendly and the rates are reasonable. Come check it out!

I travel all over California for both fun and business. Also happen to be a bodybuilder who enjoys good old school iron, but I can't do crowds or gym idiots. You'll get none of the modern gym problems at this location, this gym is what we need more of in California. Back to the basics, plenty of modern machinery and basic iron. Great space and even better vibes. If you are in the area, don't waste your time at another commercial gym. Keep old school natural bodybuilding alive and realize that at this gym you can be a 75+ looking to get in a brisk walk on a treadmill in peace, or a 30 year old looking to get in a brutal chest day.
