I actually really appreciate all the nice staff at this location on Newport and 17th in Costa Mesa. I’ve been using chase for a very long time and the staff here is always just so kind and friendly. Also, this location has a drive thru.

Go see Jason! What an asset to Chase! Came in to open up a second business checking account..thinking it's going to be a headache but it was far from that. Someone immediately came up to me and greeted me and asked if I've been helped. His name was Jason Murray and he helped out tremendously. Kind, professional, and helpful. Very good experience and very grateful for employees like him. Will be going out of my way to return here and try to work with him if I get the opportunity. Highly recommend seeing Jason Murray.

This place is terrible. Condescending and misogynistic glorified sales agents that will try and gas light you. Avoid at all costs…. But you already know that based on their 1 star review ?Was a loyal chase customer for years but will never open another checking account with them.

Without disclosing details of the situation, they arbitrarily kept money from my account with baseless claims, and have not responded to the so called " investigation " basically they can take your money and not much can be done about it..

No notary public at this location, cost me $30 at the UPS store to notarize two items; combined with their nonexistent interest rate for anything under $100,000 why am I banking here?

The manager, Mike, talks a nice game and seems cordial but he's inauthentic. When I tried opening an account with their branch, there were so many hoops they wanted me to jump through (something about coming back on a special day so they could train a new employee) and typically I'd try to be reasonable, but this day in particular I had a desperate need for money for my business and was required to open a bank account with chase to cash a check. The manager said he couldn't help me, but earlier in the conversation had explicitly stated "I *could help you but only would if I needed to", so when I explained my situation (I didn't have personal transportation that week and had to make special arrangements to arrive there before they closed) and referred to his statement, he danced around the topic in a weird gaslighting way. Finally, I pressed the man and asked if he would be willing to help, because he had already stated he *could, he said "I will not answer that question". So I looked at him and said "so you're a liar then, Mike?". He responded again: "I will not answer that question." I managed to make it to a chase one town over and they took care of everything for me, day of, without any hoops. I'm praying this comes back around to you Mike, karma, as juicy as ever. A sad excuse for an employee and a fake person.

I came in today to meet a seller of a watch. We were in there for literally 5 minutes and a gentleman I believe was the manager told us we had to finish things up and we couldn't be there. We were both chase account holders and told him. Unfortunately he still didn't care. I

This location is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!! There’s only one teller working and the drive through is almost NEVER working!! Everyone in line huffs and puffs as it never fails to always be a LONG wait!

I don't have words for how I feel right now! I have NEVER experienced such bad customer service!! Wow!! The teller is a complete moron and should go work somewhere else! Nothing like a young person talking down when they have zero idea what they're talking about !! I asked for the manager and she implied, she's busy !! Without even asking!! I feel sorry for anyone that has to bank here !!

Honestly fed up with chase in general.. if you want to meet with a banker you now have to schedule an online appt ahead of time even if they are talking to no one, went here to set up joint account with my husband and was told we would get out cards in mail in 3-5 days.. it’s been 3 weeks, they never sent them. Mine just arrived after multiple requests and now I have to go back into the bank because the card “doesn’t recognize “ the pin I created to activate the card. Just poorly ran, no one cares. Also still patiently waiting on my replacement credit card as well that they shut off bc of fraud charges! It’s been over a week
