Their membership is a total scam. Ours auto renewed and our notifications went to spam and we were were out of luck. Unfortunately I did not notice it on our credit card statement the first time it renewed. Second time we were able to cancel it but customer service was not super helpful .Ended up paying several hundred dollars more for our furniture.

Placed an order with them for a sofa in March. They said delivery would be 2 months later in May. Then got an email saying delivery was delayed to June. 2 months later I got an email saying delivery was delayed to July. So I wait two months to find out it will be delayed another two months. They have no respect for their customers. Shame on me for not reading all the negative reviews before making a purchase from them.

I have had several negative experiences with RH and will briefly outline those here while filing individual complaints separately.I had received a large lantern ordered online which was broken during transit. Small slivers of glass were on the box and coming out of the box as I returned it to a local store. Carrying this item into the store with my arms bleeding from cuts on both arms the staff simply stared and continued their busy work and conversations. It wasn't until I dropped the box to the floor did anyone even say a word to me. I stood there pulling glass from my arms as an employee fumbled with paperwork for the return. I had to find a cloth napkin on display to wipe blood off my hands. It's amazing that no one helped, offered assistance or even handed me a paper towel, then stating that the restroom was for employees only. It's the RH product that caused these cuts and yet not one staff member was even pleasant but gawked at me in a kind of disgust. Furthermore, the replacement lantern I received was the wrong one.I purchased a wall insert medicine cabinet. The first time I took a soft cloth to wipe it down, I wiped some of the polished nickle finish off revealing brass. On calling they said it my own fault because I rubbed it too hard and offered no further assistance or replacement telling me that I didn't read the instructions properly.Very recently I purchased sconces from the new 'modern' product line. I used my RH credit to purchase 2 single Cannele scones and 3 double Cannele sconces. When the boxes arrived one large box was listed as containing 2 double sconces, but in fact contained only one. I called customer service and politely the sales person said I would be credited back for the missing sconce and re-charged as the replacement was shipped. I have now been charged for 4 double sconces and the replacement was charged at a higher price than what I had paid. Several emails to the company result in brief statements that everything is correct. This additional charge to my credit account exceeds my limit and may incur additional fees.Be advised, be very careful when dealing with this company as they are not helpful and in fact, lack integrity.

Our issues continue to be swept under the table and we were offered a gift card as an apology. We are getting passed from design consultant to design consultant and still not able to get our drapery adjusted without extra costs out of our pocket. After our initial drapes were installed (uneven and left wrinkled) we realized the color had an orange 70’s like hue in the sunlight and the majority of the day. Never once was this mentioned before purchasing. We were never told that a liner was recommended with this particular fabric. In the beginning design was never discussed and were were left with drapes that look terrible in our space. These issues should have been addressed before our order was made. I feel like we were not a priority, we were rushed and looked over. This is completely unacceptable and has caused unnecessary stress on our family.

Gorgeous store and restaurant: definitely come here for the photos! Very pricey-the furniture is definitely for a specific type of buyer but it is stunning to look at. The food is at the highest price point with an example of $20 truffle fries. Great service and lovely rooftop, nice to go for a special occasion.

I had so much fun walking around Restoration Hardware. I found the place welcoming and enjoyable to explore. Despite the fact I wasn't going to be buying anything, it's nice to know what the ideal or gold standard of design is. Anyone can buy something at Ross, not everyone can get a Restoration Hardware look. You won't even be able to try until you've gone there. Certainly the beautiful catalogues are lovely, but, they are not the same as feeling the fabrics and seeing all the details in person. The light fixtures are as beautiful as in the catalogues. When you see everything together you notice little design touches like couch curves and wood textures. It's very well run and a team of designers are on the second floor working to make your dreams come true. I loved the well displayed fabrics and rugs. You can mix and match different fabrics on your desired furniture. They carried drapes and fixtures as well. I have not eaten lunch there yet. I'm not sure how I feel about shades of grey to brown and slate to linen as being my only colors in the pallette, but it's modern and tasteful. A bit masculine and a bit severe. Whimsy and feminine softness are not completely in this collection, but, I loved everything. Super fun place to have in Marin.

Restoration Hardware used to be known for quality products. I have Restoration furnishings all over my home. They were a company that stood behind what they sold and did whatever they could to make sure the customer was happy. Those days are long gone, my friends. I purchased a very expensive rug from them and when it started falling apart less than a month after I purchased it I was told that I was not caring for it properly. Of course they couldn't tell what the proper way was to care for the rug. I've been living with rugs on my floors all my life. I have rugs that are 100 years old that look better than the one I purchased from Restoration Hardware. I have rugs in every room in my house and have owned some of them for 40-50 years. I am a rug fanatic. And the only rug that I have that is falling apart is the one I purchased from Restoration Hardware - the one that I paid the most money for. And they blame me for how it looks. I would say think twice before purchasing anything from this company.

horrible. do not order from RH under any circumstances. their stuff is overpriced for mediocre quality. however, that is not the worst part. customers must pay large shipping and delivery fees for products that take too long to come. I ordered multiple things from RH that said were in stock, and it still took over a month to come. one of my items, a dining table that I waited 1.5 months for, was scheduled to be delivered after it arrived at the warehouse. after not coming on time for the scheduled delivery time, I contacted them only to find out they had "low stock" and I must reorder the table. I will never order furniture from there again they suck
