This bank does quality not quantity. A big safe bank with customized services to meet your needs. Local to concord it just makes sense to bank where you live nearby. Excellent customer service from tellers and bankers.

I recently applied for a credit card at this location and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! As you walk in one of the employees always greets you and as you walk out they wish you a great day! I have not seen this at my current bank Wells Fargo. One thing that caught my eye was the diversity in this branch. I would highly recommend to friends and family, they are also open Saturdays which is a plus. Thank you Concord Clayton for your amazing service:)

I’ve been coming here for years and love customer service and their professionalism of employees! They are very friendly and fast service! Salma is a wonderful teller and always resolved any issues I may have with my account! I am a loyal customer and love Citibank.

Avoid this bank, this location!!!!Very unprofessional!!!1. personal information not securely stored:Tried to open a business checking account with my business partner and the rep took our info, drivers licenses, SSN, EIN number all of it on a scrap paper.2. no contact, no follow up:rep said that business accounts would need to go to underwriters and would take a few days to approve or disapprove.3. long wait:Stopped by the branch to check on the application status, since no one was contacting us a a couple of weeks later.Rep responded: so sorry but we need clarification on one of your vendors. Also she had same drivers license number for both of us!!!! ERROROur response sure what kind? Rep: NOT SURE!Seriously?????4. A couple of week later:Rep: calls and request me to stop by the branch. I did, she had a letter for us to sign from the underwriter.We signed the letter and she state that she will call call with a progress.5. A couple of wee later again:Rep: calls and states due to a lengthy process, she needs to complete the application again for business checking accountUNBELIVEABLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Who is hiring these people? It all comes from the top, bad management and branch supervision.Worst ever!!!!

This review is for Citibank checking and service in general, not specifically this location. This has been the most stressful and worse banking experience of my life! I opened up a Citi checking account because of a special offer I got because I have a Citi card. It has been a nightmare. I kept getting an error when I tried to fund the account from my external (non-citi bank). After 4 hours and 22 minutes on hold (three separate calls), I was transferred to tech support. They got me to a different interface and had me connect my account and make the $10,000 transfer. Today, I go in and the transfer is not showing - nothing. Even the linked bank account is gone. I check my non-citi bank and the $10,000 has come out. I call Citi and they say they have no record of the transfer. I give them the tracing number and the item number from the email sent from Citi verifying the transfer. Their response - "We should be seeing it, but we are not. Just wait 1-2 days and it should show up in your account." REALLY!!! This is $10,000 that they have absolutely no record of me transferring to their system. They cannot look it up using the item number from the email that was generated from THEIR system! This is total fraud. Beware if you choose to get a checking or savings account with Citi.

My Mother had a safe deposit box at the the Grove/Treat branch in Concord, Ca. This branch has been closed due to covid 19. We closed my Mother’s accounts a few years ago because Citibank does not understand the California requirements regarding revocable trusts. We submitted the full trust document, which is not required in this state but Citibank is not a California bank. Even though all the notarized attorney prepared documents were provided, the bank froze my Mother’s funds one year later, due to the “unacceptably” of the trust documents. After exhausting research we found that they did this to all account holders in Trusts. This almost bankrupted my Mother. She had no money to pay her bills or buy groceries, I covered her bills and bought her groceries. But what if she did not have anyone to help? It took us 1 month to get the funds unfrozen, after multiple branch visits and phone calls. And now, my Mother’s safe deposit box has been drilled because we did not respond to a letter by 4/9/21 that we received on 4/12/21. The delay in receipt of this letter was due to the fact that my Mother no longer lives in Concord. I was told that my Mother was called but she has not lived in Concord for 1 year and the phone number is no longer viable. My Mother has been in and out of the hospital and although she is in better health now, she is still recovering from these hospital stays and is in frail health. We, as a family, would like all of the possessions from this box returned to her.Dawn Strait

Ctia Bank doesn't have the decency to notify me after they closed my branch. I am not able to speak to any one regarding my Safe deposit box. I will close my two accounts if no one contacts me. Really bad customer service.

I went to them as they are in NY and CA. A lot of hassle to open an account. Promised me my debt card last Friday. Today is Tuesday and nothing. I called the branch about 10 min before they would close. They picked up the phone and hung up without a word. Any way to give negative stars?
