I have encountered a store manager, Yessenia, several times on Saturday. She is always very unpleasant to speak to, where she would pass side comments “oh yea I remember you, you return a lot”. Why would I not, it’s my CONSUMER RIGHT! Each and every time I’ve encountered her, she has some or the other side comment to pass o to me. I have had enough of her, and this is the fifth time she’s insulted me, but cherry on top, she threatened me. My experience at Ulta, due to her, keeps getting worse, and worse. This time she threatened me that my account would be flagged if I continue to return luxury items. Well, I have stores that would want my business such as Sephora. If I would be getting such treatment from this manager at the Colma location, Ulta will no longer have their business with me.
I then called Ulta customer service, confirm if what the manager told me was true per their policies and procedures. They confirmed what Yessenia told me wasn’t true. They instead advised me to escalate the issue. So all in all, this was mistreatment and threat by this manager.
I then called her to check if that’s what she meant, and I told her it was a threat she gave me, and she repeated back to me, yes a threat. Then she goes on to talk over me, and then says she has to hang up. Horrible patience, and terrible customer service where the manager wouldn’t even speak or explain herself. Oh, she even mentioned she doesn’t have to explain herself. WOW.
Yes, this issue will be escalated, and I want to know why your managers would be threatening customers that are nothing but compliant, I have been purchasing items since 2013 at Ulta.
My question is to Ulta, why do you hire managers that are so rude, and terrible at customer service? Amazing at giving threats though.

I wet to the salon at Ulta beauty 2 weeks ago asking for highlights o my roots. I’d show the hairdresser a picture of what I expected. She said that she could do it, but she didn’t. As you can see at the pictures, it doesn’t look the same color on my hair now as it is at the other pictures. The hairdresser rescheduled another appointment to fix it and told me that it wouldn’t be charged again. I had to call them to reschedule on the day after the first appointment, but I was informed that I will had to pay more $250 (o had paid 180 already). Then I canceled the appointment and I’m trying since then to get my money back and the just don’t complete the request. Always asking for 3 days to get an answer, that never came. Always going on circles!
Edit: a week ago a received a call fro the manager salon to reschedule the correction, since they don’t do refund. Two days ago I went to the salon to do it. It is better then was before. But, some parts of my hair isn’t good. Today I went to another professional to do a Brazilian blowout and those are the pictures that she sowed me, before and after doing the blowout. From the outside looks amazing, but on the inside, not that much. But, You can get to your own conclusions.

Ulta salon!
Mara Snyder just did my hair! She did the works. Highlights and lowlights and new growth. She is the best. So professional, very kind, she knows her stuff. I would definitely book an appointment with her. I’m a hairstylist and I give her 5 stars. I’ll definitely be going to her from now on.

Windy is fantastic! She really cares and loves what she does and it shows! She knew how to handle my thick hair and made sure to respect the length by not cutting more than I wanted which is amazing! Will be coming back for her!

The staff was incredibly helpful. Especially Kay. She helped me find the perfect color foundation, concealer, blush and bronzer for my olive skin tone. I’m pretty new to doing make up so I really appreciated the advice!

I’m so happy with the haircut I received from Windy at the Ulta salon! I’ve been to several salons in the SF and around the Bay Area, but this is by far my favorite place to go now.
Windy really listened to what I was interested in doing with my hair and suggested how to accomplish the style I wanted with a few adjustments to make it even better! Not only is she clearly an excellent stylist but also so kind and invested in doing an incredible job to make her clients happy.
I’d recommend Windy & the Ulta salon to anyone and am looking forward to going back!
Side note - I also really like shopping at this Ulta. They have a good selection and the staff members are helpful.

I came here during the weekend unfortunately the cashier her name is charlotte was being rude she kept leaving to talk to her coworker even when we tried to pay she kept going back and forth leaving the register completely

This store is in a perfect location. The salon has an excellent stylist his name is Richi. He goes beyond in his job. I just go to the store because of him.

Five stars for hairstylist Windy. There was a miscommunication in the beginning due to to the lack of the check in rep. Not only were we impressed with Windy's professionalism but she was able to accomplish the difficult balayage. The haircut was quite the look as well. I highly recommend this top notch hairstylist. She won't disappoint you.

My mom and my sister surprised me with a hair wash and cut for my birthday and Windy made me feel like an absolute princess! She is so sweet, explained every step of the process to me, and even told me how to keep caring for my hair after.
Windy is such a great stylist! Her cheery personality and kindness made her world-class service so so so amazing. I’m definitely coming back again soon! ⭐️??
