I am writing this review due to the fact that David J Figueroa advised my mother and her boyfriend to claim their filing status as married filing jointly, when both should be filing single. I understand that no one wants to pay more in taxes and wants to receive a return if anything. However, this is no way to act in such a profession where ethics should be held at the highest of standards. I followed this up with a complaint to CTEC (California Tax Education Council) and IRS, I hope action takes its course. What other information is this man advising his clients to falsify? A shady business never yields a sunny life.
