“This location was close proximity to my residence that I was moving from. The staff was helpful, courteous, and professional. I frequented this location multiple times during my move and every time I noticed it was clean and didn't smell like other uhaul places I visited.

“Thompson Gas has been amazing! We had a horrible experience with Amerigas and finally canceled our account with them and swapped to Thompson Gas. Best decision! Everyone I've spoken to has been very helpful, kind, and respectful. They don't gouge you for money and charge you for services you never got, like Amerigas. David was awesome! He helped get our account started after he came to do the leak inspection and then came out to remove the old tank and place one of their tanks and he was very nice, quick, and thorough. They have even gone so far as to call and see if we needed propane when one of the delivery drivers was going to be in our area. Excellent company so far and I am so glad that we switched to them. I highly recommend!”

“It's an old RV park but it's clean and has huge trees for shade. The people were very nice. Mike was very accommodating. The location is great right off 80 & Sierra College. Lots of near by shopping and fun local shops. The spots are not paved but again it's an old classic RV Park, not a resort.”
“I had the best experience at this U-Haul location. I had an appointment for a trailer hitch installation and check-in was so easy. My car was done in just a few hours. Corry did an amazing job of installing my hitch and took the time to instruct me on how to use it. He was so friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated. Amado checked me in and he was very helpful and friendly too! I highly recommend this business.”

“I just updated this as I started with a 1 star review. I really think it's a huge diservice that Amerigas has resourced out their over the phone customer service, as I believe that the customer service experience has declined significantly compared to when they had staff answering phones at their Colfax location.That said, after several delays (and running out of propane due to errors by Amerigas) Brady Strong came out to fill our tank and he was terrific! Brady was very professional, kind/nice, humble, and clearly experienced. Brady restored my faith in Amerigas (though I hope to never have to call their customer service call center again). Thanks, Brady, for taking excellent care of us.”

“I smelled that awful smell so I called the office, it was a weekend so the office was closed. I received a call from the manager, Corey who was very responsive. We discovered that we were out of propane on a Saturday. A bit of confusion with scheduling in the office and Corey made it right. He came out on Sunday morning with enough propane to get us through the weekend (cold showers are no fun) and then called first thing Monday morning and by Tuesday the tanks are full again. Thank you Kamps Rocklin for making it right and getting our schedule fixed. We have a monitor that tells the office when we are low. We have a locked gate and dogs so the delivery needs to be scheduled in advance, different from years past. Overall great customer service and highly recommended.”

“This is a great place to get propane cans refilled. They are less expensive than the places where you exchange an empty for a full. Also, they will provide a more complete fill of the tank. They are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.”
