I come to Chula Vista a few times a year to visit family. I always make it a priority to visit Sunset Liquor. They have the best selection of allocated bourbons and the prices are really really good. I met the owner today, and found out we share a mutual love for bourbons and Japanese whiskey. What more could you want, A+ for selection, price and most importantly customer service. Highly recommended.

Great store amazing owner! I am from WI and was told this was the place to go for bourbon and it is true. Good prices and amazing bottle selection. The owner is great to talk to and knows his bourbon. If I am back in the area I will be stopping by and getting more. A must stop if you are looking for a hard to find bottle. Cheers!!!

Ordered specific products and waited for delivery. Items were sent and delivered in a timely fashion. While waiting for delivery, the owner of Sunset Market, Roy, called me to verify my order, which was greatly appreciated! Great service, good prices and Roy threw in a little extra surprise! If needed, I wouldn't hesitate at all to complete another transaction with Roy and Sunset Market...a big Thank You to Roy! You Sir treat customers right!

When visiting San Diego, I went to Sunset to get some bourbon and met Roy(the owner) there. Such a great guy and loves talking bourbon and sharing. I am from Philadelphia and ended up getting a couple bottles of Stagg and EH Taylor with some other bottles, and Roy helped me package them so they got home safely. I would recommend this store to anyone in the area and if you are visiting from out of town go talk to Roy and have a great time trying some of his favorites!

The owner wrote to me about a year ago letting me know that the worker was no longer employed with them. This information is false. This week I decided to go in person and that worker was still there. The customer service is just as poor as it was a year ago. There's so many other liquor stores in the area. Avoid this one!

These guys are great! Not only did Roy call me to make sure my order was legit, but when I added another item to my order, he grouped it in with my first order and didn't charge me extra shipping. Roy also went above and beyond in another area - he helped me with another order from a different company, also in Chula Vista, that he had heard of...I received an order confirmation and nothing else for 13 days, and he offered to call them and try to get in touch with them...he even did some online research! Go with Sunset Market and Liquor, and Roy will take care of you.

Love this store! Super friendly staff, and I was able to find some rare bourbons. They even brought out a glass and let me taste some bourbon that they had open. Bonus - they gave me the glass to take home. Roy was great, he took extra time to make sure I was happy. He had some great bourbon discussions. I will definitely go back to the store!

I was able to buy my favorite Tequila, Gran Malo, one week from my birthday. The people at Sunset Market were the only ones caring and selling it. They were very sensitive to my needs and accommodated by having the order filled days ahead of my birthday. It was tremendous success. I am going to be ordering more from Sunset Market. As long as the supply lasts.
