What ever you do not allow them to include their house dj, he was horrible.. has no idea how to blend music and just drops the next track in not even focusing on the dancefloor… sounds like he is downloading tracks from youtube as the audio cuts in and out and all he does is play mixes… his dj need a lot of improvement in order to be included in their hall package… it takes skills to be able to please a crowd and their djs need to get some training… they have too much pride to accept knowledge from and how to better themselves..DO NOT GET THEIR DJ’s

We came back for my 2nd daughter's quincenera. ? Highly recommend this hall. Very good communication and friendly owners. Will be coming back for my 3rd event.

Beautiful Venue! ROBD Dance Studio held their event there. Absolutely Lovely hall attentive service by waiters, parking in front and a lot across the front street walk.

Please do not rent from this Hall very bad costumer service , I had called a week before my Grandaughter fifteen year old To Rent the Robots for her party she said I will call you back , never did I called again No answer left message My husband called spoke to her and said yes we can do it. Never did she come through with the Robots., in her part there was very bad service , my Grandaughter was upset and basically ruined a part of her party ! Please don't call there , there is a lot of other Halls to Rent , and get better service ..

Save your money!! I don’t even know where to begin. The fact that I was told that unlimited drinks were included, and didn’t have the waiters serving my guest. My guest complaint after the wedding how rude and Terrible the waiters were. Or that there was terrible communication between the Owner & her assistant. They forget to informed me they cancelled a food tasting and I showed up for it. It was infuriating because they told me that was the only day so I missed work to attend. Or I specifically stated that I didn’t want guest on the upper level and they put some tables there anyways. We paid extra for an extra table & food & they didn’t have enough seating for all my guest that all RSVP. They also told me not to do a seating chart they’d have someone in charge of seating people and there was no one assisting my guest. The DJ was terrible. I couldn’t hear my entrance song because the music was so low and he talked during the entire entrance. He’s mic was so much louder than the Music. He also cut off my dance with my mother. He put the wrong first dance. I can go on and on of how unorganized this place is. We paid so much money in cash not to get the experience we expected. Save your Money & go elsewhere

I don't even know where to begin. They extremely lack communication. One month from my set date for my wedding they set a date for the "food tasting" They stated that was the one day available. We showed up and they cancelled the food tasting and forgot to tell us. not to mention I had cancelled my shift at work to attend. the entire process was overwhelming. I specifically told the Coordinadors i didn't want anyone on the upper level because you couldn't see anything and I didn't want anyone distracting the DJ that was setup there. Well we didn't have enough seating downstairs like I wanted and ended sending people upstair. So when I told the coordinator what happened she stated I never told them and told me I just need to eat, maybe I'm stressed. she'd disappear at times when we needed her and we were lost on what we needed to do. I was told by the coordinator that there would be someone seating people not to do a seating chart. There was no one assisting my guests. Also the DJ's mic was so much louder than the music. when we entered I couldn't hear our entrance song because he kept talking through the entire entrance. to top it off he started playing the wrong first dance song!!! Then after when I danced with my mother he cut off part of the song. Even when the bridal party walked in he kept talking & couldn't hear the songs and took forever to play the songs. following the party I received a lot of complaints from my guest that the waiters were terrible and rude. I can go on and on about this place but you get the idea. Take your money elsewhere!! We paid so Much in cash to have such a terrible experience

I definitely recommend a Illusion Hall for any type of event. The coordinator was completely amazing. Worked with me and my budget. They came to my residence. Did all the decorating took the stress off my shoulders. I truly appreciate Vicky Hernandez for all her hard work. She even took pictures and videos and captured special moments of me and my daughter. Muchísimas gracias Vicky and your staff.

Huge thank you to Vicky and her team, they made my graduation party a huge success! Singer, LED robot, DJ, Photo Booth, and Banda all performed perfectly and filled the night with constant entertainment. All for an affordable price, will definitely return for future events!TLDR: Great service, constant communication and everything played out perfectly for the night!

I wasn't sure if I should write this review because I hate writing negative reviews however, in an effort to save other people their money here goes. I planned my daughters sweet 16 at this hall well over a year in advance. The only reason we went with this hall was because we won 50% off at one of the open houses held. But if I hadn't I would've taken my business elsewhere. I do have to give it to Vicky's assistant Ely. She was in great communication with me at all times.Vicky is a very hard person to get ahold of. For something you are you to be spending so much money on that is a key component, great communication. I paid for security which was part of their contract and there was none. I paid for their "show" of the wait staff when they brought out the food. There was none. Parking was an issue. Vicky specifically told us there was a lot on the back of the building we could use only for her hall that was a lie. There is a hall next door that took up all those spots. The hall next door also reserved 10 spots outside right on 3rd Avenue. They all had great parking not any of my guests. I raised this issue with Vicky's daughter the day of she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. The DJ I contracted from Vicky wouldn't play the songs requested. I personally had to go to him several times to ask him to play songs and to find out he had been drinking the beer I had purchased for my guests. We paid for 1 hour of a Bad Bunny performance he stayed maybe 30 minutes. I paid for a robot he was almost an hour late. Speaking to some of the wait staff and Vicky's daughter there is obviously lack of communication within them all. The hall knew in advance how many people I would be having and it seemed as if there was not enough staff to accommodate. My guests were not served dinner at the same time, some waited almost an hour after the first table had been served. The chairs are falling apart, the a/c was barely working. Also, it was mentioned to Vicky my daughter would be making an outfit change and she said there was a room for her and any of her girls needing to change to go to and there was none. I honestly feel if you are going to spend so much money on an event you better get extraordinary service. Oh and don't forget if you go with your own vendor for desserts you must provide your own napkins, plates and forks. I didn't find this out until the day before. I won't even go into the fact they misplaced my coffee cups, forks and napkins that I had to take on my own. Still missing...Take your money elsewhere do not book here!

I had my daughter's XV in July 2021 & it was horrible. I wish I had seen reviews prior to booking my event. Vicky is very unprofessional, ALWAYS late to our appointments with a bunch of excuses. There were 2 times when she flat out didn't show up. The night before the main event, I asked if the AC was going to be on because it was always hot in the hall. Vicky promised everything was going to be beautiful and fine. The day of the event is here, & all the issues begin with the limo driver. The limo person was rude. As soon as he arrived at the church, the first thing that came out of his mouth was "Where is my money?" I told him that I had paid Vicky for the limo service and that he needed to discuss that with her. Because of this, he was being a jerk. My husband & I arrived at the hall as it was opening for guests. The private bathroom that Vicky had promised was not ready. It had a bunch of tables & chairs in it. So because of this, I had to carry my daughter's 2nd dress, shoes and other items around. If you know you're having an event, why would you not get this done prior? The upstairs area was not ready when doors opened, freakin table cloths hanging from banister/railing of upstairs....how embarrassing! When I approached Vicky, she said the staff was working on decorating upstairs & that they would be done soon. Again, this should have been done prior to doors opening! The hall was VERY hot. I kept asking Vicky if AC was on because it sure didn't seem like it. After approaching Vicky several times about AC, she then became invisible & started ignoring me. It was so embarrassing that all my guests were fanning themselves with whatever they could find, & everyone was sweating big time. Vicky had been bugging me about a seating chart, so I had been working on this several nights past midnight. When doors opened, the person at the door was not following the seating chart and was having people sit wherever. So again, why do you ask me for a seating chart if you're not going to utilize it. I had requested the night before that candy apples be placed on each table. None of the tables had candy apples on them, only a few on the candy table. I noticed the candy table was placed against the windows, so because it was hot and the sun was shining on the window, my apples were starting to melt. I asked Vicky to please close the curtain, & she ignored my request...curtains remained open all evening/night. The slide show on the main screen was not visible due to balloons & net blocking screen. Because of this, only half of the image was viewable & guests had to move around in order to see it on the TV's sinc the main screen sucked! I personally think that if you're placing balloons on the net, you should check that it is not interfering or blocking the projector prior to opening doors. This really made me upset because I worked really hard on pictures for the slide show so that guests couldn't see them. After surprise dance, I noticed a bunch of my daughter's friends hanging outside the venue. I didn't understand why until after the party was over. My daughter told me that Vicky kicked them out of the VIP area, which was specifically for her friends. Since Vicky made all the kids go downstairs & closed off the upstairs entrance, these kids had nowhere to sit because my downstairs tables were all full. I wish my daughter would have told me on the spot, I would have gone off on Vicky. This was also embarrassing but more to my daughter. I had paid for LED Robot, & it was supposed to arrive immediately after surprise dance to start the party. The robot NEVER showed up! At the end of the night, right before I walked out, I approached Vicky about the robot. I honestly expected an apology from Vicky for dropping the ball, but instead, all I got from her was " okay, I will reimburse you for it." We went for the New Year's Eve Dinner/Dance on December 31, 2022. The cost was $60. It was a very disappointing evening. From the chaotic check in to get our table assignment, to the tasteless and dry chicken dinner which was served around 9:30 pm...it was scheduled for 7:30 pm. The owners over-packed the dance hall to twice its capacity making it impossible to dance on the small dancing floor. Many people left upset/angry, even before the dancing started; it was that bad. We stayed, but, felt cheated and will NEVER attend another event at Illusion Hall.

Worst hall and event service ever! They were BLASTING music while everyone was eating dinner so no one could have a nice conversation. They took forever to get things moving along throughout the night. The DJ would play loud dance music while everyone is being served dinner like why? The bathrooms were not stocked fully, ran out of toilet paper in girls bathroom super early into the night. The service was slow. I had a horrible time at a birthday party here. It was seriously the worst
