Most of the workers here are very helpful and the manager is very hands on helping his staff. It's a really nice change except one very very big problem. I got two bill of over $500 dropped on me and there was nothing that could be done about it. A workers there name Aiden basically just scammed me to get a sale. I was very angry and I'm leaving Verizon. I'm being forced to pay or loose my service and phone. Great thing to be randomly charged $1000 in the span of a month and a half.

Jose at Verizon was amazing. This was the fastest experience I’ve ever had at a phone store. I’d recommend him to anyone!

These workers are just as bad as car salesmen. Sleezy and lying about products and “deals”. We regret ever walking into this store. We will only order online moving forward.

Consumer beware. I am out $100 because of the negligence of this store’s staff.The first item to note is that this particular location is not a true Verizon store; rather, it is a “Verizon authorized retailer” which means they set their own policies.I had decided to patronize this location as it is centrally located in Chico, offers ample parking, and appears to be a generally clean store. There also appear to be several staff working at a time which is desirable. My experience was soured by the store’s staff on the particular day I had patronized this location.Having made a Black Friday purchase online, I opted to pick up one of my two new devices here at this location. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted and paired with store associate Kaiden. He was a friendly guy, but somehow accidentally cancelled the order on my second device which wasn’t even intended to be fulfilled at that location - it was to be delivered to my home as Verizon had a national shortage due to the extreme Black Friday savings. Strike one.When Kaiden noticed his error, he immediately sought help from D, the supervisor on duty. Like Kaiden, D was also friendly with me. I could tell that they both were trying to backtrack the accidental cancellation but didn’t have luck in doing so.At the time, I opted to cancel my order with them and revert to online-only, but was informed that there would be a $50 restock fee for the already-opened device that was presented to me. I ended up sticking with the purchase and substituted the second, cancelled item for a lower-grade equivalent they had in stock. They would not offer me the grade of device I had asked for - even if it were to be pre-ordered and shipped to their store. I reluctantly took the lower-grade device. Prior to leaving, I noticed I was charged an extra $50 for what I’m assuming was in-store setup of the device. This was not something I had agreed upon. Strike two.Fast-forward a week and a half, and the device that was supposedly cancelled arrived at my doorstep. I opted to keep this new device as it was the higher-grade model I had initially ordered. Awesome.From here, I packaged my lower-grade equivalent device and returned it to the store as it was within the two week window. One of the associates whom had assisted mentioned that their manager, Jose, could likely waive the $50 restocking fee after hearing my story. After walking back to speak with him, the associate came back and said it could not be honored and that I would need to pay the fee. A fee that would have been avoided had it not been for the negligence of the associates during my initial visit to this location. Strike three.We live in a city where there are multiple options for purchasing smart devices. If you decide to patronize this Victra location, exercise extreme caution. It is not my intent to call out specific employees, but here I am sitting with $100 less in my bank account all because of employee errors. No consolation whatsoever. I know I’m only one disgruntled customer, but I hope my honest review prevents another customer from being stiffed $100 in the future.

Visited the store to activate my new phone and Bradley made the entire process a breeze! He was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and worked amazingly fast. Even checked my plan to make sure I was getting the best deal Verizon could offer. Five-star excellent customer service all the way!
